If I could give here zero stars I would. She has absolutely zero bedside manners, spoke to me as if I were not an human being, and made me feel like a burden while trying to get help for excruciating pain.

I saw this doctor at a Scripps urgent care in La Jolla, CA in 2017. I was left with permanent injuries after this doctor refused to prescribe me an alternative to Levofloxacin, an antibiotic I was uncomfortable with taking. After expressing my concerns and reasons for not wanting to take the drug (I was in long-term physical therapy for a previous musculoskeletal injury), she told me it was safe for people like me, safer than the other antibiotics I wanted her to prescribe, and that, if I didn't take the medication, I would end up in the hospital within days. She inaccurately diagnosed me at that point with possible appendicitis, though I have since learned that none of my test results supported that diagnosis. I wound up disabled after having a severe adverse reaction to the drug (bilateral severe tendon injuries, CNS damage, heart damage, etc) and will forever regret listening to her. It's been almost four years and I'm still in physical therapy. While I mastered walking around the 18-month mark, it is assumed by my doctors (rheumatologists, PT's, PCPs, orthopedic surgeons, etc) that I will not make a full recovery. At the time of prescribing Levofloxacin, the drug had five black box warnings (she did not tell me about those and it now has even more), detailing the scary, disabling side effects. She knew better. She just wanted to be right.
