Dr Timmerman and her staff are exceptional in the osteo surgical business and know what they are doing. I trust my knees to no one else and have had excellent results twice. The whole team works to get you back on your feet quickly and they know how to navigate insurance policies effectively. There’s a reason multiple athletes have become former clients!

The Dr. was very direct, thorough, and helpful in treating my injury and her diagnosis was right on.

She did my shoulder surgery a week ago,and I feel so good,had a procedure at Kaiser,didn't work at all.Her staff is warm,and caring,and Dr.Timmerman is so down to Earth,more like a friend,than a Dr.

Very unprofessional & unpleasant experience initially met with Dr Timmerman on 07/21/21 to go over options for work related injury but she was so rushed and in a hurry that the appointment was only 10 mins with no questions or concerns explained then two weeks later 08/02/21 I get a call from a representative from her office to set up a surgery but she never went over the procedure or answer any of my concerns as well as go over a pre surgery to discuss things or even discuss alternatives methods she just decided for me with out my consent (RED FLAG) so I explained that to her representative who called me at that time and she schedule me a appointment on 08/18/21 I met with Dr Timmerman and explained my concerns and after long decision I decided to seek alternative options she became rude and very disrespectful then makes a comment I can return you to full duty since you dont want to fo the surgery and you will just have to live with your injury then makes a comment I am not trying to be nasty or threatening, but in a way she is because if you even have to say that in your response then it definitely is coming across that way and if I was fit for fully duty then I would not been on a workers comp claim for my injury she just got upset because she wanted to perform surgery and since it's a workers comp for federal employees she was going to get paid big money and she was losing out on that because I wanted to try non surgical methods before resorting to having surgery. I reccomend do not go to Doctor Timmerman office because she does not take time to meet with her patients and when she dies not get her way she wants to use bully type of tactics. I am definitely transferring my medical care from her practice because she has definitely shown me her character. Great surgeon and amazing experience working with Dr. Laura and her entire staff.

Dr. Timmerman made a magical knee surgery. Three days after the surgery I abandoned crutches. Six days after I feel very good.

I completely tore my ACL while skiing April 2021 and Timmerman handled my ACL reconstruction surgery amazingly with my own patellar tendon autograft. She is professional and intelligent and straight to the point. There was even some unexpected meniscal tearing not caught on the MRI that she found during surgery and was able to fix as well. I felt in very good hands the entire process. Update August 2021: I'm 4 months post-op and I couldn't be happier. After ~1 week I was off crutches, and after ~3-4 weeks I was done with the big brace. I'm now back to doing most of the things I love: hiking, light jogging, swimming, biking! Timmerman does regular post-op check-ups which are great because they make me feel informed and comfortable with what my new knee can handle at each stage. Dr. Timmerman is very knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Her staff is very easy to work with. They are all very professional and polite. I had a sports-related injury on my arm about 10 months prior to seeing her. I was living with chronic constant pain and very limited range of motion. I was unable to do most of the activities I love. She made a quick diagnosis and gave me an anti-inflammatory injection on the first visit. She was very meticulous and addressed all my questions/concerns. My pain was relieved immediately after the injection; and just 4 weeks later I was back to my happy active life with normal strength and range of motion. She's a genius. Did an ACL reconstruction on me 20 years, and two rotator cuff surgeries in the past 5 years (one on each shoulder. Amazing, total recovery on all three. Can't recommend her more highly. I'd give her 10 stars if I could!

Did surgery on both torn meniscus in 2010. Coming back 11 yrs later for right knee maintenance

"I initially started seeing Dr Timmerman after 2 years and 2 previous surgeries from another surgeon for ACL Reconstruction and Meniscus Tear Repair. I still had difficulties with limited range of motion involving both flexion and extension and considerable amount of pain. I didn't think that there was much that could be done at this point, given the extent of the scar tissue that had already set in and the subsequent damage that seemed irreversible. Dr. Timmerman did an incredible job on my shoulder, I was constantly popping out of the joint due to a torn labrum and I had gotten to the point where I couldn’t support any weight overhead without fear of dislocation, I couldn’t pull open doors, and even getting dressed could sometimes cause me to dislocate. I’m an active 39 year old and at 4 months out from surgery I’m in training to be a spin instructor and have stability in my upper body that I never thought was possible. I opted to go through with the procedure in mid-May in spite of the pandemic and I’m so glad that I had the recovery time that a normal pace of life would never have afforded. I never was concerned about exposure, the surgery center felt safe and I knew that I was in good hands. I wish I had done this years ago, I’m so grateful to Dr. Timmerman! Laura did several arthroscopic surgeries on my left knee trying to save my patella, ended up having to have my patella removed, she did a lot of major reconstruction on my knee so I would still have flexion and extension, a few years after lots of physical therapysurgery I was able to run a half marathon and was able to run several marathons thereafter she did my surgery in the late 1990's.

I initially started seeing Dr Timmerman after 2 years and 2 previous surgeries from another surgeon for ACL Reconstruction and Meniscus Tear Repair. I still had difficulties with limited range of motion involving both flexion and extension and considerable amount of pain. Dr. Timmerman and her staff are wonderful. Her Physician's Assistant Gaye is very knowledgeable and competent. My husband had torn his meniscus in both knees. I'm 56 yrs old and very active. My first surgery was in 2009 for my shoulder, impingement. I recovered 100% and eleven years later I have absolutely no pain or discomfort and I have full strength and mobility. March of this year my right distal bicep tendon tore completely off my bone. It was during the beginning of the quarantine so I was really nervous about having surgery but this type of injury needs to have surgery as soon as possible otherwise your arm will be disabled the rest of your life. I have Kaiser and was very disappointed in ther response to my injury and told me surgery would probably be weeks out. So I contacted Dr. Laura Timmerman and she told me to immediately visit her office after ordering an MRI. Despite the quarantine and obstacles in her way to quickly do an operation she prevailed and within 72 hours of my injury she operated on my arm at the Sequoia Surgery Center which was magnificent. It's now been two months and although still painful I'm able to start arm curls again and have about 90% mobility of my arm. I expect a full recovery in no time. I would recommend Dr. Timmerman to everyone. I am an extreme sports fanatic and have had too many injuries to count. She has done a handful of knee surgeries for me and the results have always been phenomenal. My recovery time has been shorter since I switched to Dr. Timmerman. She reviews all the options with me and does the least invasive surgery if possible. The staff at her office are rockstars I've never waited on hold and if I have a question for Dr. Timmerman they always get back to me within a couple hours. I moved to Arizona and had my last knee injury there. I got the MRI in Arizona and went to a highly recommend doctor in my area. I had Dr. Timmerman review the results of the MRI as well, they had a similar diagnosis but Dr. Timmerman was able to do the surgery without replacing another ligament. I came back to California and she was able to operate on me the next week. It's been two weeks since the surgery and my patela is tight in the correct spot and I'm back to walking!

disappointing, went to see Dr. Timmerman for hip pain. she ordered xrays, and then ordered MRI. went back to see her for results. I was ten minutes early with MRI CD. sat in room waiting for her for 45 min. I could hear her out side my door talking about PB J sandwiches and kids with another patient. I did not plan on being there that long and needed to go to work. after another ten minutes I poked my head out like a wounded animal letting her know I needed to go to work. I could immediately feel her anger. when she came in the room she was defensive telling me how she needed to read the CD. I did not tell her I could hear her 30 +minute conversation. she told me my hip pain was from a Hernia and never did an exam. she was pretty cold and was not what I expect from a Doctor. Not sure if her staff failed to tell her I was in the room, or if their scheduling is bad. either way I give them all a minus. i had to click one star to leave a review......

I have been seeing Dr. Timmerman for over 6 years now. She is the only orthopedic doctor that listens to me. She is open to new ideas, yet gives her opinion without judgment, gives me time (when she isn't over loaded because she is so popular), has a real person actually answers the phone when you call her office and has a really nice and kind staff. She has helped with my knees so I don't need to have major surgery. She also explains the progress of my arthritis each time I come in for an office visit. I really appreciate her, her work and her office staff.

I came to see Dr.Timmerman after i injured my right knee while sailing about a year ago, today i feel great! I had torn my meniscus and was in bad shape. I remembered the fantastic job she did on my left knee around 2005 (acl,pcl and meniscus damage!) and she was the first one i called. Today im back at work and after she worked on my knee i feel better than before. Id also like to mention the staff has been extremely helpful and informative.

We were referred to Dr. Timmerman as being an expert in her field of orthopedics after our son dislocated his elbow for the fifth time. She quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem and set a plan to correct the issue. Her skill at surgery allowed for a quick recovery along with her specific instruction post-surgery regarding rehabilitation. Her positive "bed-side manner" made us all comfortable asking questions both before and after the surgery. Her office staff is excellent!

I completely tore my left rotator cuff in the beginning of January and saw Dr. Timmerman about 4 weeks later. Once she saw my MRI she immediately told me she could get me back to 100%. I scheduled surgery for the second week in February and I felt better within the first 4 days. I was completely off the meds after the first week and within 3 weeks I had 80% better mobility than I had in weeks. I was back to 100% within 5 months. Dr. T is the absolute best.

Expecting to take a sore shoulder with me on vacation, Dr. Timmerman evaluated my symptoms and treated me with a well-placed injection of cortisone on my first visit. My vacation was pain-free and I am a fan of Dr. Timmerman's knowledge and expertise. A five-star experience!

She's the best! Even though one person of her staff was really mean with me since the first time I went to my appointment the rest of the start is very nice and polite. Dr. Timmerman was my salvation! I had a work related accident. I was under care of kaiser by "works comp" and referral for SIX MOTHS! This people never give a good care of my injury. For the entitled time I was treated with Tylenol i was in pain and that affected my personality because due to the pain I become cranky. Dr. timmerman take care of me since day one she checked on my injury recomended surgery after few days she did it and that surgery changed my life! Dr Timmermans staff and overall patient care is phenomenal. You can tell she loves what she does! I had a work related auto accident and had never had a surgery ever. Dr. Laura Timmerman is a great orthopedic surgeon who fixed my full ACL tear with great results. From the minute you step into her office and meet her, Dr. Timmerman makes you feel like you are an old friend and will take the best care of you as if you are her family member. She fully explains what is wrong, what needs to be done and what it takes to recover back to the best you can be. Gaye, her PA, is also great and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Timmerman was wonderful at helping me and allowing me to get back to volleyball as soon as possible with still getting me to feeling 95%. When I tore my ACL in Feburary I was in surgery by my spring break in March to play in September for high school volleyball. It has been a year later and I am cleared to no longer play with my brace. I am stronger then ever and cannot thank her enough for every thing.

After being treated else where and being misdiagnosed, I found Dr. Timmerman. She was highly recommended, and I must say she totally exceeded my expectations. She was a great advocate for me, performed my surgery, with great follow-up. She is lovely, great bedside manners, she listens, takes her time, and KNOWS her stuff! I've seen Dr Timmerman and Gaye (PA) for multiple injuries( rotator cuff, ACL reconstruction) over the last few years. The treatment including two surgeries were were performed flawlessly. I was misdiagnosed by a previous doctor, and decided to see Dr. Timmerman for a second opinion. She reviewed my MRI and immediately knew what to do. This was a fairly new procedure, but her confidence and experience made all the difference. I am now healed and working out again. Dr. Timmerman has also helped my son with his elbow when he was misdiagosed. So fortunate to have a surgeon with this caliber. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

When I ruptured my Achilles I started reading about surgery and recovery. I decided on Dr. Timmerman to do the surgery and was really happy I did! She has stayed engaged from before surgery all the way up to being fully recovered. I would recommend Her and Her practice to anyone!

I went to see Dr. Timmerman after seeing another orthopedist to get a proper diagnosis of my shoulder condition. Dr. Timmerman did a thorough exam and immediately identified my shoulder problem as frozen shoulder. She was able to give me a cortisone injection in the right place by using an ultrasound at the appointment. In just a few days my mobility improved and I started physical therapy after 10 days of the injection. I am back to my normal activities and pain free thanks to Dr. Timmerman.

I had a shoulder issue from when I was a baby, I had several diagnosis regarding the injury all of which were incorrect. I came to Dr. Timmerman based on her reviews. She had me do the proper test to get a diagnosis of the injury and completed a procedure.I have since gained almost full mobility back and have been building up my strength again. She was great throughout the entire process and I would def. recommend her.

I cannot express my appreciation to to Dr. Timmerman and her entire staff for my repair and post surgery follow-ups. This is one great surgeon and an amazing staff that treats you with a smile every time you have an office visit. If you need a surgeon this is the place to go!

I was told that i needed a shoulder replacement in my home town. One of our friends in Redding recommended Dr. Timmerman in Walnut Creek so we made and appt. She told me she could put it back together and she did. It has been 3 1/2 months since the operation and I am doing GREAT! My full range of motion is back and I look forward to doing normal things again.

I can not begin to tell you how awesome Dr. Timmerman is! Dr Timmerman was very clear on my elbow diagnosis, explained the procedure and my kind of gal "no nonsense". I am so pleased with the work she did for me I almost wish I had other body repairs needed. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and already have done so.

I had previously seen two other doctors over a period of 6 months to try to alleviate my knee pain. I was within a month of having surgery with the first Dr and decided to get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd Dr. treated me with a steroid shot and sent me home. I was in severe pain and used a cane. A friend recommended Dr. Timmerman. In my first appt. I got my first shot of Orthovisc and literally skipped out! Dr. Timmerman is fabulous and a miracle maker! Thank you!!

The MRI was showing one thing bit when she went in and found it to be so much worse. I had heard about her extensive experience with pro athletes and was not disappointed! I'm three months out and have full range of motion and am in the gym now! Incredible
