Lauren was fantastic! Her bedside manner is second to none. My teen daughter was very self-conscious of her blotchy skin. We had tried several visits with the pediatrician but unable to get any results. Lauren diagnosed her rare condition instantly and gave us an appropriate treatment that cleared her skin within weeks.

Lauren Vargo has been my provider for several years now. I chose her for her bedside manner, her incredible dermatology knowledge, her unmatched compassion and her fantastic group of nurses. 5 stars simply isn’t enough to describe Lauren as a provider.

Lauren Vargo was very thorough and personable and diagnosed the issue that I was having when a family physician had prescribed something I really should not have been using.

I would give a galaxy of stars if I weren’t limited to five. Lauren Vargo has the calming empathetic presence of a pope and the precision and competence of an astronaut. She takes the time to actually listen to what you have to say and seems to take a sincere interest in your dermatological health and well-being. Be prepared to wait between 45 minutes and an hour past your appointment to be brought back into the room. And additional 15 to 30 minutes to be seen. I traveled 40 miles from Sumter to come to Carolina dermatology only to have to have waited an hour and a half total passed my appointment to be seen. Thoroughly disappointed.

I'm more than impressed with Lauren Vargo. I was misdiagnosed for years by several other doctors. Vargo rediagnosed me and put me on a prescription regimin that cleared up my skin for the first time in years. I wore shorts today to my son's soccer game. I haven't done that in a decade due to the embarrassing appearance of the skin on my legs. Her compassion and understanding of skin disorders is second to none. She changed my life.

Love the doctors. They are excellent; however it's the ladies in the front office they are very rude and not personable. Sorry to say it's all the African American women and I'm also an African American so nothing racist in this statement, just sharing the truth. They don't greet you when you come and they make you feel terrible for even having to come, like they are bothered by your presence. They don't address questions just blow you off to find out for yourself and have a look on their faces like they can't wait for you to leave. I'm sceptical with them handling confidential records. They seem too judgemental to be professional. On the other hand, the doctors are attentive and very knowledgeable, the front office needs an overhaul. Love the doctors.
