Extremely long wait times. Last time I came I waited three hours past my appointment time and when I finally got to see the doctor, he was in and out in 5 mins. I had a follow up appointment today and I waited an hour and half until I decided to just leave.

Every visit take over 2 hours to be seen by the doctor. I thought they had forgotten about me in my last appt. I was the last person to leave and my appt was at 7:15pm. I left around 9:10pm. It’s a nice place, just long wait times.

I’m absolutely appalled I even have to write this review. I have never experienced this level of medical incompetence at any point in my life until now. I found out I was pregnant beginning of February. Naturally, I schedule an appointment to do my initial consult/ultrasound. For whatever reason, the “consult” doesn’t include the ultrasound and blood work so I waited for 2 hours to then have a 10 second conversation with the doctor about nothing because they are so overbooked and too clueless to schedule appointments appropriately and/or to scam co-pays per visit. So I had to come back AGAIN to do the ultrasound/blood work separately. This is not convenient for me as I live 40 min away and it made no sense to me how this wasn’t all done in one day. I come back the next day for the ultrasound to then be told my baby stopped growing WEEKS ago and that “this happens all the time”. OK???? There was no further explanation the doctor didn’t even come in to speak to me. All they said was to just do the blood work (for what reason I don’t know) and that they would call me once it’s back. Also I didn’t even get a “sorry” btw. I was too shocked and disturbed to say anything else. In my portal it says that my visits were for ammorhea and for a LEEP procedure which make absolutely no sense as I said in my first visit that I’m pregnant. So why is a LEEP procedure even listed in my chart?? It’s a week later and they JUST now uploaded the ultrasound and blood work results (confirming what we already know) and they STILL have not called me. I ended up calling my old OB in my hometown 1000 miles away to see if they could squeeze me in ASAP (which they did) for a next day appt. When I say there was a night and day difference in customer service would be an understatement. I was actually seen at my appointment time (what a concept, I know). The ultrasound tech was so kind in explaining what she saw and was actually sympathetic. I then spoke with my OB immediately after for 30 min to go over options which then she called to schedule my D&C right then and there. I told her what happened at First Class OBGYN and she was shocked and appalled. There is no excuse for telling someone their baby has been dead for a MONTH (which I had to find that out from my hometown OB because I was given ZERO information from First Class what I was measuring) to then not follow up AT ALL A WEEK LATER. I would never ever carry a baby to term at this practice with this level of incompetence. It is actually dangerous. I will not be back and I am glad I decided to take my business to Capitol Women’s Care in Laurel, MD for ACTUAL medical care and for any future pregnancies where I’m actually treated with kindness and respect.

This is the worst obgyn office I ever been too! Let me start off with my first appointment as a new patient lord have mercy! The wait time in the lobby was over 2 hrs very unprofessional. They waited for my name to be called to have me start filling out paperwork which could have been initiated on first hand when I checked In ridiculous! As I finished and got to the back it took another 45 mins for my doctor to come in the room. As soon as he came in he literally talked to me for 5 minutes then realized I was the wrong patient he was talking to unbelievable talk bout HIPPA violation! After the mix up they ended up doing a quick ultrasound on me to tell me how far along I was, can you guys believe they gave me a estimated week frame like she couldn’t even give me an exact weeks or months after I gave her a correct LMP date like I could not make this stuff up I felt like I was being Punk’d. After that I had 3 more visits and all visits were as a “New patient obgyn” appointment I seen 4 different doctors and none didn’t talk to me bout my pregnancy nor did lab work. At this time I’m 16 weeks pregnant with no blood work or anything. Yesterday 03/01/2023 I went in thinking I was getting a new ultrasound lmao they booked me as a new patient assigned to a new ongyn provider I’m dead! As one of the medical assistant or nurse if that’s what you call them did my vitals and had the nerve to ask me what am I’m here for hahaha I swear I could not make this up! She then proviso ask me was I still pregnant, At that very moment I grab my stuff and proceeded to walk out the facility and switched my provider as soon as possible. Please please be careful of this unprofessional unorganized place

I go to this office just to see Dr. Fernández, however the customer from Jennifer at the front desk is the worst I have ever received at a doctors office she has no manners, is mean and very disrespectful to patients.

This is my second time coming here and again i had to wait an hour after my appointment for service and then they were going to charge me. 30$ fee just for blood work apparently for their convenience the lady told me. And the first time i went the lady couldn't take out my blood apparently i was too dehydrated but the day after i went to my primary doctor and they took my blood right away with one shot and he had 10 years experience either they are not doing they job or something's not right here. Another thing today i had an ultrasound and i don't think the lady put protection on that device bcuz when she pulled it out i saw that she just put it back without taking out any plastic or anything so she just put it in there without protection or? ... Also she was on her phone . The staff are rude they couldn't answer my questions when i needed them to be answered and they are very rude and disrespectful. The lady at front desk was talking to me with an attitude and stuff like that simple I'll just take my business elsewhere.i understand how full and busy they get but patients come first and they should always be considerate about the other patients waiting not just skip what's important or not this is the second time i had to wait an hour an a half the first time i came on time and this time i came an hour early and still waited almost 2 hours this unacceptable and I'm never coming back i seriously don't recommend this place. Don't waste your time here Also i forgot to mention the first time i came here i wanted to have a female Dr attend me and i couldn't have that because i had to wait and the only lady availed was on call for deliveries so i ended up being uncomfortable and let a male doctor attend me that was so uncalled for they should of have more doctors on duty not just two and then he told me i needed to lose weight and after i told him i have been losing weight he told me "well you need to lose more" I'm sorry but THAT is not how u treat your patients again DO NOT COME AND WASTE YOUR TIME HERE

AVOID AT ALL COST! This is the absolute worst obgyn I’ve been too. Long waits, incompetent staff, and a scam office. I was discriminated against during my ultrasound, it was very rushed and over in literally 2 minutes. They also charge a $30 “convenience fee” to draw blood. I will be making a formal complaint with the DOH and CRC.

WORST P.A. EVER!! Jeanette Hernandez! I have never been treated so pourly by a "physcian" . Considering that I am a high risk pregnancy I would assume that she would've treated and spoke to me with Kindness. No, she was rude, harsh and insensitive. I even considered leaving the office because of her but because the front desk staff, Kathy and Dr. Guerra are all amazing, I reconsidered.

I visited for one appointment, I do not plan to be back. I was there for 2 hours, well past my scheduled appointment time. I spent 20 minutes filling out the paperwork with my medical history, etc and then when I was finally called back, the nurse repeatedly asked me for information that was on the paperwork I had filled out, even copying down my written information INCORRECTLY three times. She also forgot to take my vitals before taking me to a room to wait for a doctor. Really felt like a very unprofessional office, I'm fortunate that I had reliable childcare for well past the expected appointment time, but this was very inconsiderate.

I had my son over three years ago with the midwife Jennifer (who is amazing) but it’s changed since they renovated and expanded the office. They were always busy before and usually behind schedule but now you can expect to wait at least 2 hours to be seen. Front staff seems really stressed and not warm like they used to be. I had to leave to pick up my son from preschool after waiting over two hours and was told I would be charged a cancellation fee. They ended up not charging me that fee but it seemed crazy to threaten me with that and with no apology or explanation for the wait being so long. I also saw a roach hanging around the coffee machine in the lobby which is concerning in a medical office. Since their renovation, their office feels more like an assembly line and I hate to say it but, making as much money as possible seems to be the primary goal over quality doctor-patient relationships which is something I feel is especially important in obstetrics. They no longer allow to leave any sort of message for the doctors or midwives even for the most simplest questions, you have to schedule an appointment for that. It’s unfortunate because the doctors and midwives are great but they seem so busy now that they can no longer provide the same care that they used to.
