First, the room had not been cleaned before I was taken back. The paper on the exam table was crumpled and then it was rushed to be cleaned when it was questioned. My pain and knowledge of my own body and the changes internally that I had noticed were dismissed and I was told verbally I had no prolapse. In my chart in review with my primary doctor, she said he had actually written I had a first degree prolapse. A second doctor has now diagnosed me with a second degree prolapse and is performing surgery. I cancelled my follow up appointment because I felt extremely frustrated at the dismissal and did not feel heard and the lack of a clean room concerned me.

I love this practice! Very professional and everyone takes their time with you. I’ve had several tests done and everything that happened was explained in detail in advance. Love their bedside manner ????. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is I’ve had to wait quite a bit for some of my appointments, but it’s definitely not a deal breaker as I feel very comfortable and confident with this practical ????

I’ve read the other reviews, and these patients must’ve seen a different doctor. I found Dr. Epstein to be insensitive, inattentive and discourteous. His staff was kind, however. After speaking to me rudely repeatedly he brought me to tears and didn’t change his tone when I started sobbing. I have never been treated so unkindly and it was made especially scary because I need help. He made it clear he didn’t want to treat me. He didn’t listen to anything I had to say. Had he, he’d realize my lapses in treatment were due to serious illness. Once I began sobbing he said if I wanted treatment he’d need to examine me right then!! I was afraid to let him lay a finger on me after how he was speaking to me. And I don’t just mean arrogantly. Don’t go here! This man is purely transactional. What I came away with from my visit is that he isn’t concerned with helping women, and he is dishonest, uncaring and rude. There are at least 2 other urogynocologists in Jacksonville. I’d go to one of them. Just speaking with Dr. Epstein made me feel worse. I was not seen. I was not heard. I was not treated with respect. From beginning to end, everyone was polite, concerned, professional and personable. For such a sensitive area of concern, one could not complain one iota! Just the best experience in all of the medical procedures and issues I have had at 75yrs of age.

Dr. Epstein is knowledgeable and professional, yet makes the patient feel at ease. Having seen him for approximately three years, he performed surgery and everything went smoothly. Aftercare was the same quality as before surgery. Highly recommend Dr. Epstein for any gyno-urological needs.

Dr Epstein is very gentle and caring. He puts you at ease when dealing with such an uncomfortable situation. With every procedure, he explained everything he was doing and took the time to listen to my questions. He has a great bed side manner. The entire staff is very caring and makes you comfortable. I waited 3 weeks for my appointments and was running 10 minutes late due to Jacksonville traffic, Although I left in plenty of time. I called the office to let them know I was running behind and they told me that they were going to cancel my appointment because I was running late. If you are looking for an office that actually cares about patients I would keep looking if I were you. I contacted the office manager the very next day and was told that this is their rigid "policy"and no exceptions would be made. Dr. Epstein & his assistant Beth are highly skilled & professional. I appreciate that. However, when I went to schedule my follow-up appointment I was shocked when I was told the first available was Feb. 1st. That is ridiculous. Nearly a month away.

This is the most welcoming, friendly, yet totally professional office I have ever had the privilege to visit. Everyone in this office is so caring and professional. From start to finish they are explaining things and taking you step-by-step through any process. Dr. Epstein takes time to tell you his diagnosis and is very gentle with any procedures. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Terrible! He violated my rights to refuse a procedure. I said no and he was sneaky and did it any how. Asked staff for him to call me and got he does not make phone call appointments. This was not an appointment, is was to confront him with what he did. After 3 phone calls he called me and brushed off the issue. Do not go see him.

I like Dr. Epstein but my last visit didn't went well.I was in so much pain after my cystoscopy the tech had poke my scar tissue while giving me the anesthetic gel.I didn't expect the kind of therapy I'm getting and I know for sure that nothing else is going inside my private parts and to this date I am so terrified by it.I called to cancel all my upcoming appointment except my follow up with the MD. but this staff pressured me to cancel it too as if she's telling me not to comeback which it will be my pleasure. At least everything is normal except the scar tissue due to my previous surgery.I'm giving 2 stars for the Dr. and O for the staffing.I even pay $50 for a piece of item I don't know what it is for.The staff in the front said the therapy will explain it to me and they have this paper I have to sign that I can't get my money back.I want to return it right there but I'm not getting any response.I have this item and its never been opened.Its a ripped off.

My bladder issues were getting worse. I needed a specialist. I found my way to Dr. Epstein and my life has been changed for the BETTER! I feel like I am 20 again... or however old you are when everything is working well! I tried PT in his office, but due to my issues of 3 big babies, genes and age, I ended up needing surgery. When I saw Dr. Epstein, he was with another well known urological group. This doctor asked me why I made an appointment with him instead of his colleague who I had seen previously. I told I was in a great deal of discomfort and his colleague was not available. He was condescending, very rushed and somewhat rude. The ONLY positive outcome was the DPT he referred me to who was very helpful and kind.

I had the best experience with Dr. Epstein and his staff. He took the time to explain surgical and non surgical options to me and I couldn't be happier with my care. My life doesn't revolve around a restroom anymore. Highly recommended!

At first, this doctor helped put my grandmother at ease when she was very nervous and upset during testing. He was polite and was more than willing to explain his terminology to my grandmother when she did not understand. He was very comforting to her. But later when he learned my grandmother had a very real problem with Valium and Xanax addiction, he brushed it off, then prescribed her even more Valium! He understood she had a problem, yet was more than willing to enable her addiction.

WOW! I am so grateful to Dr. Epstein. I had sever incontinence and was constantly worried when I went anywhere. Dr. Epstein did surgery and much to my amazement it worked wonders! Today I feel confident ! Thank you Dr. Epstein.

Dr. Epstein and staff are wonderful, caring, thorough, professional and kind. This is a difficult area of medicine. A lot of patients (like myself), come to his office in pain and in need of unique assistance. Dr. Epstein and staff were so comprehensive in their approach to my care. Throughout my treatment, he took his time to educate me about my condition and to give me a variety of options in treatment. He was so positive when I was feeling discouraged. I recommend him so highly to everyone.

I will not recommend him because he doesn't put the patient first, he puts his own practice and his needs first. He wouldn't call me back when I asked his assistant to have him call me.

DO NOT SEE THIS MAN. He dismissed my issues flippantly and arrogantly without looking at my medical records or even hearing all my symptoms. Upon stating my own experiences he cut me off and asked if that was actually true or if I was just told to say that. He insisted that those with pelvic pain are too susceptible and easily led in order to get help. When I advised this was not the case here he said it was because that is fact. He also insisted, before I even got to symptoms, that there's
