A very friendly place and cozy place. I appreciate how they explain what they were going to do and made sure you were comfortable and how the work with you. Thanks Dr. Hovious and staff.

Unless you understand your dental plan and are ready to go toe to toe with them, do not use this office. They are lazy and don't even try to do their billing correctly. They overcharged my husband by $500 for services he didn't even use during a procedure. Before he even had his procedure they were already being sketchy and we should've gone somewhere else after that, but my husband didn't want to fool with finding another place. They didn't want to bill our insurance and tried to tell us we weren't in network when we know for a fact we were. After I told them that, their story changed to, "oh, that might be changing soon though so we can't be sure of it will still be in network". This place is a prime example of why so many people have problems trusting the dental industry. If we didn't understand ans double check everything with our insurance so well, this would've been missed. So make sure you know what is or isn't covered before you get anything done here, and don't just take their word for it!

I never have to wait long to be taken to the back. Registration is painless. Stephanie was my hygienist. She us super sweet and very knowledgeable. Four years ago I was referred to Dr. HOVIOUS for extensive gum surgery. Four years later at age 78, I still have all of my teeth and they are in great shape, thanks to Dr. Hovious and her entire dental health staff. How do you thank someone for saving your teeth.....THANK YOU!

Excellent practice and customer service!

Dr Hovious and staff have treated me for years. I appreciate their professional service and always being available to support and answer questions that come up.

When I heard I needed dental work, I was nervous to have my procedure done. Dr. Hovios and her staff were so attentive and understanding to relieve me of my stress. I truly appreciate their time and effort to give me the care I needed.

I was referred to Dr. Hovious after a visit with my oral surgeon who noticed bone loss on an x-ray. From the initial consultation, Dr. Hovious and her staff made me feel comfortable. I was a nervous wreck and she calmed my fears about bone graft surgery. She performed the surgery in April and I just had my 6 month checkup which included an x-ray and examination. Dr. Hovious and staff are wonderful! They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease! Dr. Hovious has a great bedside manor and does fabulous work! I would recommend visiting her office If you are in need of a periodontist. I have been a patient for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I have been going to Dr. Hovious for a number of years. She did graphs on my gums, both upper and lower. She did a wonderful job and i still go back to her office semi annually for check ups. Her office staff is also very friendly. My mouth is in Much better shape than it was before I started going to her.

From my consultation visit through my soft tissue graft and frenectomy, through my post treatment visits..,,Dr. Hovious and her staff were extremely professional. Their care was both efficient and courteous.

I went to Dr. Hovious with much dental anxiety, she and her staff were very accommodating in helping me with the anxiety and answered any questions that I had. I followed through with treatment and am very happy with the results, I have since then referred my husband and my sister to her office.

I came to Dr Hovious to save my teeth, gums and bone loss that was 8 years ago. Thanks to Dr Hovious and her staff I now have healthy gums and strong teeth. Twice a year Valerie, her hygienist, does an excellent dental cleaning. Dr Hovious always checks on me to make sure all is healthy. Highly recommend Dr Lee Ann Hovious.

Dr. Hovious is a great periodontist with also a kind heart. Because my daughter needed to see her before school one day, Dr. Hovious opened her office early just so we could be seen. Very professional and great at what she does!

Dr. Hovious did a below the gum line laser surgery for my periodontal disease, and I couldn't be more pleased. The entire staff is so caring, and managed to really ease my fear of dental procedures. She answered all of my questions and concerns, and never made me feel silly for asking (even though I was a nervous wreck at our consultation). I still go there for my cleanings, and always leave smiling. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a specialist.

Dr. Hovious just completed laser treatment on my erosive lichen planus and I am very happy with the results. She thoroughly explained the procedure and gave me information about the results she has experienced with this treatment in her patients. Dr. Hovious and her staff are a blessing. She has done extensive work on me and all with minimal discomfort. I am 63 years old and needed 5 extractions, (4 of which were wisdom teeth), bone grafting and major deep cleanings. I am back on the road to good oral health. Dr. Hovius takes her time and thoroughly explains everything. There were no surprises. The costs were made transparent. Again, no surprises. By far this has been the best experience I ever had with a periodontist.

I was reffered her by my hygienist but told to go elsewhere by my dentist. Well, I should have listened to my dentist! I went and had an exam by this woman and I've been in pain ever since. I never had pain in my gums or any swelling of Any KIND. I never experienced any type of sensitivity to cold or hot. I've always been able to bite into an ice cream without a problem. I went to this practice for an exam that I was told would cost 150.00. This "exam" not only cost me almost 300.00 at the end

I was referred to Dr Hovious by a trusted dentist after a tooth broke off of course unexpectedly. I was uninsured at the time so the cost would be all on me, which I knew. Due to being uninsured at the time I requested a price quote before the consultation appointment, which staff provided. The quote was $2000. Based on the quote I kept the appointment with Dr Hovious and paid for an additional 3D scan to see if I would be a candidate for implants before I went any further. The cost of the scan was basically an additional $350. After the consultation and additional scan Dr Hovious called and we discussed a plan of action as I intended to proceed with the procedure but wanted to wait four months until insurance open enrollment with my job. I received a written treatment plan of $3,300. I called the office staff and spoke to "Gina". I referenced the $2,000 quote I had gotten previous to the appointment which she disregarded as "we can't really give quotes" and I reminded her that they had given me a quote and the treatment plan was almost double. I asked if the written plan had any insurance discounts and she said no. I requested a copy of the scan on disk and the written report and she (Gina) said she would mail it to me. I waited a week and received no copy. I called again and Gina again said she had mailed but for some reason I didn't receive. I requested again a copy of the scan that I had paid for and Gina again assured me she would send. A week later no copy. Again I called and Gina she had sent but I just hadn't received. I receive mail from everyone that sends in the free world but couldn't receive from her....These folks appear to have wanted me to have this procedure with no insurance which would have not given me the in network discounts, all in their favor and with no concern as to me situation. Emergency situations without insurance are tremulously favorable for them. GIna flat lied several times about sending me what I paid for. DR Hovious was ok but DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE FOLKS. Nothing really great to say. I came here after a visit to a different Periodontist for a second opinion. I came in for an examination and to develop a treatment plan. They never quoted me any prices and after a 30 minute examination and x rays I was billed $279. This is over 4 times what I paid at the other periodontist. I came back after 3 weeks to discuss my treatment plan. I left more confused than when I came in, they told me they would email me a treatment plan. Another 3 weeks passed and I called to make sure they had the correct email since noone contacted me, I was told I needed to do yet another test before they would reveal my the results of my $300 exam. I explained to the woman on the phone that I was confused and upset about the lack of progress and wouldnt be returning. She politely said she would let Lee Ann know. That was it. Just for reference at the other periodontist who i will not names office. I was treated better, I was given a treatment plan the same day, I was quoted up front and paid 1/4 of the cost at Lee Anns office, and the office, waiting area, exam room and professionalism was head and shoulders above what I experienced at Dr. Hovious' Office. Dr. Hovius performed oral surgery, two bone grafts and placed two implants to deal with my peridontal disease. It was a long road but she solved the problems spectacularly. To this day my regular dentist compliments the work she did on my implants. I still see her staff for peridontal cleaning every 6 months to prevent the return of the peridontal disease. Thanks to Dr. Hovious and her caring staff I have been able to keep ALL my natural teeth despite advanced periodontal disease when I started treatments with her all those years ago. The office staff are professional, friendly, put you at ease, explain issues clearly, make treatment recommendations but are not 'pushy,' have a comfortable, pleasant, CLEAN office environment, and over the years have spent time explaining best practices for keeping my teeth, gums, mouth, and overall health in good shape. She is so very awesome. Always always took good care of me and always made sure I was aware of everything she did in my mouth. I would send my most treasured grandchildren to her, if we lived in Tennessee anymore.

My husband and I were really nervous about going to see Dr. Hovious to talk about what we were going to do about his dental situation. The staff was very welcoming and made at ease.
