Best doctor in the South Bay. Great bedside manner and awesome personality! Lucky to have him as our Primary Doctor.

Dr. Kissel is the best doctor I have had as a personal care physician in my 74 years. He has helped me personally with all my medical needs and has recommended excellent specialists like Dr. Ronald Ruby that have allowed me to gain control of my diabetes. He has assisted me with all medical needs for over 10 years and is professional, considerate, and insistent on following instructions given. His follow up is exceptional. He has notified me and helped re-direct my care at any instance of technological changes in the medical field and is always aware of the most current treatment. He is patient and you never feel rushed, he is always on time and expects the same from you. You never feel rushed and he never looks through you always into your specific condition. He takes the time to understand you and your family history. I highly recommend him to anyone and am extremely grateful to be his patient. I am alive today at 74 because of who he is, what he knows and his servant heart. to me he is irreplaceable an individual who provides excellence and hope in a very difficult world. His excellence is rare in a time when most cut corners and are unaware of continual changes. He is an inspiration to me and I feel all who know him. M. Storie, 1-9-2023

Dr. Kissel, You were my doctor for a number of years in Manhattan Beach before we moved to Colorado in September 2013. I was recently diagnosed with ALS. My doctors are interested in Sulfa drugs. I would like you, if possible, to check my records if you still have them. I believe I was allergic to Sulfa. Please let me know if possible. Jim Packard

I flew in from out of state see Dr. Kissel who was my primary care physician before I moved his staff asked me if I could be called at home with my test results I told them no . A week later his staff called my home phone ,Upsetting my family. Exactly what I wanted to avoid. When I went into his office to ask how this mistake could’ve been made and the problems that it had caused he passed on a message to me to find another physician. I had flown 3000 miles to see him for a very personal matter and I needed his discrepancy and help for which provided none . I can’t help but feel that his bias towards me was personal if you’re looking for someone with empathy and isn’t judge mental this isn’t the doctor for you or your child. My family has endured nothing but complete professionalism and compassion from Dr. Kissel for over 30 years. He will always be our go to Doctor as a general practitioner. I know hundreds of south bay families feel the same way!

Awesome doctor. Provides guidance for continued health care with specialists and is very thorough. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

I haven't been there in three years and just found out I'm a new patient and he is not accepting new patient. I waited three years to come back because he dressed me down because I missed an appointment. He has kept me waiting in examining rooms for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.

Great visit and very helpful, best doctor!

Lee is always thoughtful and attentive, never dismissive, and genuinely interested in providing good care with great bedside manner.

Great doctor!! He treats my wife, as well, and she loves him too. He is super intelligent and answers all questions. It's no problem getting appointments and his staff is friendly. A+++ doctor.

Dr Kissel is an amazing doctor. He is smart, funny and very patient. He has a genuine concern for the well being of his patients and I have never felt rushed when I ask him questions.

My family loves Dr Kissel because he’s always the right amount of kind, caring and level headedness. He is also very thorough. I was able to book a telehealth appointment on the same day that I called!!

I have been going to see Dr. Kissel for about 32 years. So has my husband. Since birth 23 years ago our son is also a patient. He even came to our home right after his birth because he was not eating. Dr. Kissel discovered that I had nothing in my breastfeeding to give him because I had a C section and did not produce any. (Sorry for the graphics). Anyway we gave him formula and the little one stopped crying. That is the type of person and doctor that you can’t find anywhere. I have been a patient of Dr. K for 35 years + he is a great diagnostic doctor. He has saved my life when I had severe pneumonia. Also for those of you who complain about being scolded for missing appointments, shame on you he is a professional that has a business to run. Also if you have to wait he is probably caring for someone who is very sick. I am sure you would like the same compassion and Care if you needed it. He is a great Doctor who goes way above the standard of care of most other Doctors. HE REALLY CARES!!!!!! He takes great care of my entire family so if he is not excepting new patients it’s because he is really good and in high demand. Doctor Kissel is the greatest PERIOD!!! We were looking for a family doctor that we could see throughout our families lives. Dr. Kissel fit the bill! He has been taking care of my boys since they were born (they are now 19 & 21). He is patient, concerned, informative and kind. I appreciate the time he spends with us and I never feel rushed or not heard. His staff has been wonderful through out the years. Dr. Kissel is always running on time, he has an efficient friendly staff, he is always thorough with my physical exams, and he is caring. He also reminds me when I need to come in for an exam!

Dr. Kissel is the perfect family doctor and serves my entire family. He can always get any one of us in to the office quickly if we are ill and is just conservative enough in his recommendation and course of action as make us all feel safe and cared for as if we are part of his extended family.

I have been always impressed and thankful for Dr. Kissel's treatment and proactive care of my health. He is extremely caring, funny, and attentive. Over many years, he has discussed and assessed the best approaches and treatments, while always considering price and impact to my lifestyle. His staff is extremely professional and always on top of things like scheduling appointments, follow-ups and billing, as is himself.

Dr. Kissel is the best ever. Caring, concerned and willing to spend time discussing your issues. Highly recommend him. Easy to get an appointment for immediate needs but complete physicals need to be scheduled fairly far in advance. Worth the wait and planning ahead.

HORRIBLE!!! He is horrible and so is the staff!!! He hands out pills and orders test and leaves his staff to give you results over the phone. No medical guidance from this guy!! You can't get an appointment for a physical before a year out. He doesn't take new patients anyway. STAY AWAY!

Impossible to schedule appointments. Can take more than a year to schedule a physical. Test results are given over the phone by a woman in the office. No explanation of what they mean or what steps to take to improve them. Used to be a good option, not anymore!!! Assembly line medicine with no constructive health advice or explanation.
