Dr Lee Richstone and Jackie are an amazing team. My husband had a thorough examination and they carefully reviewed his profile and case. Jackie provided detailed information that clarified issues that my husband had. She clearly was very knowledgeable about his record even before she met with him. Her professionalism and humane manner were very reassuring. Dr Richstone was engaging and explained in detail the particulars of his case. He spoke clearly and concisely about the procedure and provided explanations and answered questions. He took his time during the evaluation and consultation. Jackie and Dr Richstone are both outstanding in their profession. This kind of excellence in care is why we go back to Lenox Hill Hospital for our care.

My boyfriend was quite fortunate to have been guided into Dr. Richstone’s exceptionally skilled hands. A brilliant surgeon whom other promising star surgeons satellite around. An extraordinary combination of a standout leader in his field and a compassionate human being.

Dr Richstone and his whole team are awesome. I can’t even put into works how grateful I am to have had him as my surgeon.

Was referred by another doctor for second opinion. Before giving his own opinion, Dr Richstone asked what the referring doctor recommended. He then asked a few more questions and said maybe surgery was option and ordered MRI. Called office 2 weeks later for MRI results. Dr Richstone called back after we already received the report on Northwell Health system and requested copy of images for our 3rd opinion and ultimate choice of urological oncologist. Dr Richstone was unclear over phone and suggested that surgery was no longer an option due to MRI report. However, surgery was a success and currently recovering as expected.

My husband was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. Being 55 we were concerned about the potential lasting effects of the surgery. After 3 consultations we decided on Dr Richstone. Dr Richstone couldn’t have been more professional. Being a nurse for 30 years I have seen it all and this experience could not have been better. My husband is 2 weeks post op today, and we are happy to report everything is working perfectly!!

Dr. Richstone did my grandma's laparoscopic left nephrectomy. She is a 82yo female with multiple conditions. Doesn't speak English and is blind. He did a great job. My grandma recovered very well, not is 4 weeks after the surgery and she is back to her normal self and is more happier. As a medical physician I think he is professional, great with patient with great skills and answered all our questions. Strongly recommended for any body who is looking for a good urologist.

I was diagnosed with renal cancer and my mind was spinning once I heard the word cancer. Dr. Richstone not only put my mind at ease, but explained the diagnosis and prognosis to my husband and I in terms we could understand and encouraged us to ask questions. The day of my surgery my anxiety was through the roof, Dr. Richstone made me feel so reassured and comfortable, I can not praise him enough. My nephrectomy went well and I would highly recommend Dr. Richstone and his team.
