This has zero to do with the doctor, we never got a chance to be seen. We had to wait 3 months to get an appointment. Typical life with a toddler we’re running late. This office doesn’t have a direct line, so we call the answering service and explain we’re late and ask if we would still be seen. They answering service then has to contact the office, they tell us yes, we can go in no issue. We arrive, guess what, issue! We’re told that they will see us, but it will be very very late. So I’m expected to sit with a toddler from 10 am to 3:30 pm to see when they can fit me in. We explained we were told the office was contacted and they said we could come in as planned. They explained that they sent a message upstairs to get approval and haven’t heard back and have been so busy checking in patients. When we arrived, there are three people at the desk and one person in the waiting room. The people behind the desk literally chatting. So no, you were not that busy where you could have followed up knowing you told someone to come in and haven’t heard back. This office is unprofessional and flat out lazy. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. You need to change your system of patient calling the call center, to call center calling the front desk, to front desk having to contact the doctor then back down the chain. The last time I played this horrible game of telephone was in grade school. Or maybe hire competent people at the front of the house. Unbelievable treatment! Dr. Liborka quite obviously has no care for her patients. I wonder why she even schedules the visits if she has no plan to see her appointments. I just was told to go home without a visit after almost 2 months wait time. Not to mention that the directions to the place were completely wrong and there is no way to contact the office since they have no direct phone number and use only outside scheduling system. So if you call them to verify the directions you were given you will reach no one. I wish I would check those reviews before our pediatrician referred us to this strange place. Let me begin by saying that I believe, very strongly, that Dr. Kos is exceptional at what she does. We saw quite a few doctors prior to my son’s eventual diagnosis and no one had a clue, except Dr. Kos. However, communication from the office is extremely difficult. They have an answering service, which means you can never directly get in contact with them. We played phone tag several times regarding an issue that could’ve been solved in 10 min. It’s extremely inefficient and lacks patient priority. All in all, if you’re looking for an excellent Dr and don’t mind a no frills communication style, then I highly recommend her. Great doctor. Very difficult office to find in Wilmette. To make it clear for other people, it's in the strip mall that the Great Escape, Roadrunner Sports and Big Blue Swim School are located in. The entry is hidden but you enter in through the Chicagoland Children's Health Alliance entrance.

My 4 month old had an appointment with Dr. Kos today which I was very nervous about and I couldnt be happier we chose her as his dermatologist! She was very nice and informative and most importantly assured me that everything will be ok. My baby felt great at the office and we both left with smiles. Very convenient location in Wilmette with lots of parking spaces and very easy access to the office on the 2nd floor, which helps a lot when youre coming with a stroller and a lot of baby necessities. Dr. Kos was extremely unprofessional. She was unhappy that I said we were going to have to leave after waiting for over an hour to be seen in the patient room. She finally stormed in asking rudely why we were here. It was surprising to see a ‘professional’ act in such an immature manner in front of my children. Unbelievable! We waited 1 1/2 months to be seen. I was 3 minutes late. First time to the center. I was in line to check in and 3 people in front me. By the time I made it to check in they said they had to check with the doctor to see if she would still see my son! They said I needed to reschedule because I was 7 minutes late! Are you kidding me?! Where’s the patient empathy? I missed work for this appointment. We waited this long to be seen. The front staff said it was the nurse that made that decision not on them. I asked her to be a little more understanding that we had been in line for some time and she had to know the check in process takes so long. Plus It was our first time here. Couldn’t care less! Dr. Koz is a wonderful dermatologist and my children have been seeing her for years. She is great with kids, and very knowledgeable.

My mom took my son to this appointment for me. The staff here are terrible! So inconsiderate. My mom was 10 minutes late due to a train and she even called in advance to say she’s be late. She was told when she arrived they wouldn’t see her. After much arguing she sat and waited. Interestingly, they told her they wouldn’t see her but there were no other patients in the waiting room. Once my son got called back, there was no offer by the staff to help her. She was handed a stack of forms to fill out so she’s carrying my son, tons of forms, a diaper bag, etc. you would think someone would offer to help. They just all stood and watched her struggle. Maybe this doctor is good but she has a lot of work to do on her staff. Inconsiderate and unprofessional. The way the staff treat patients is just as important as the skills and bedside manner of the doctor. I appreciate them adding us to the wait list and the person I spoke with to schedule - Bianca I believe-was very nice. I just wish my mom had received the same level of respect and consideration during the appointment. It sounds like the staff here need a lesson in the Golden Rule. Love Dr. Kos and her team! We have had multiple appointments and always felt heard and were always treated great.

Dr. Kos is the best dermatologist I ever had. I'm so glad I found her! I had struggled with acne as a young teen and had seen a different derm (more like a quack) who constantly experimented on me and never helped my problem. It was Dr. Kos who actually listened to me, treated me like a human not a lab rat, and helped get rid of my acne once and for all. She's incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Thank you, Dr. Kos! rushed appointment, unconsidered staff

My at the time 4 yr old had severe allergies that affected his skin. Dr. Kos did everything in her power to address the problem. After a trail and error of different cremes she provided me with a sample that did wonders. The creme was not covered by my insurance and she called and wrote multiple letters and actually fought for me to have the creme covered. Always on time and have never been turned away. Dr Kos takes the conservative approach at first but she offers many options if the condition does not improve. I had taken my son to three other dermatologists in the Chicago northern suburbs and she was the only doctor who was able to help him.

These reviews are BS! Our 1 year old daughter had the worst rash on her private area in 2015 and we saw 5 different doctors who kept guessing what is wrong with her, she was in miserable pain for MONTHS. I accidentally found Dr. Kos and after one look at our daughter, she gave her an accurate diagnosis and her rash was gone in 2 days. Fast forward one year, and our 8 year old son breaks out in hives and again, 2 different doctors at his doctor's office had no clue what is going on and I take him to Dr. Kos, again - one look and she gave him an accurate diagnosis and AGAIN, 2 days later all symptoms were gone. We have been seeing her on a 6 month basis since then and she and her staff are absolutely amazing. Who is writing these negative reviews? Her competition? These reviews are BS! I arrived 5 minutes late, then they said the doctor canceled appointment, as she has oppointment every 15 minutes, so still I got 10 minutes, ridiculous.... We drove an hour to get our baby here. She turned us away because we were 5 minutes late. Awful experience, bad vibes right away. This Dr's ratings are so low for a good reason.

Huge Disappointment. We live an hour away , our baby was turned away because Doctor had to leave by 3:00 pm. The worst part "all of her appointments are only 15 minutes". Whoa, that's thorough enough? Yeesh. That sums her up for us. Revolving door, no thank you.
