Dr. Lillard G Ashley JR.

Not Good

It was a follow up after I was in the hospital with bilateral PE. I saw Dr Brown in the hospital & he advised me to see Dr Ashley.

Yearly check up on my legs. My legs are hurting again.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ashley for 26 years and I am still satisfied with the care I have been given.

Dr. Ashley has been called about his patients by the nurses, only to have him yell and cuss at the nurses. He also tells the nurses they are stupid. I don't know how he is with his patients, but to work with, he is quite a pill.

Have confidence in Dr. Ashley. Very professional,very personable.

Dr Ashley and his nurses are professional have genuinely are concerned with me. When they ask the question "how are you", it is not just a scripted question, they listen to me as a patient and me as a person. I have know problem scheduling or re-scheduling my remote readings or meeting with Dr. Ashley.

Dr. Ashley has been my cardiologist for about seven years. He has monitored my aortic valve replacement (1994) and the functionality of the repair of an aortic dissection which occurred in 2015. He is calm, very knowledgeable, offers great advice. He listens and responds clearly to questions. This good man is a great doctor!

Dr Ashley was very attentive to my questions and took the time to help me understand his answers. He has also been very thourough in refering me to those who could perform tests to know the extent of my condition. I feel confident in his care.

Excellent service

I was very pleased with Dr. Ashley. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail. All the staff was great, very friendly and efficient.

I am a patient with Dr. Lillard Ashley who practices at Lee's Summit Medical Center. He has been very professional and caring during my time with him. I hope Dr. Ashley remains in active practice for many more years to come. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent cardiologist.

I've been patient of Dr. Ashley for over 3 years, he's a great person, sincerely interested in welfare of his patients, at least that's my opinion. I've had appointments with him over a dozen times for A-Fib and feel glad that he's monitoring my heart and blood pressure.

I don't understand the 1 star rating someone gave, as my experience has been positive. I can always get someone to call back when I have issues with my blood pressure. (Heather is great about this) Dr. Ashley is very smart about medications and quickly knew my meds were causing the swelling in my legs the first time he saw me. He is a very serious and professional but will take time to laugh at something I said and he will always listen.

I was left with utter dismay at the level of smugness and lack of empathy this man had. Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a doctor of any kind. He's a real doozy and I cannot recommend him to anyone in search of a doctor with a desire to provide options and preventative care. This man needs our prayers, not our dollars. Good luck if you choose to see him - you're going to need it.

Staff was friendly and Dr. Ashley took the time to answer my questions I feel more at ease after I left.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ashley for years. He is kind..compassionate and thorough in his treatment. He always has your best interest in mind. His staff is just as caring and always return calls quickly.
