Dr. Caprpio was very helpful in saving my lower teeth from receding gum line. Her staff was always friendly and professional. I had several surgeries and follow up and could not be more pleased with outcome.

Very confident in Dr. Carpio's care. She is diligently orchestrating care with my dentist and orthodontist to ensure I progress through current orthodontic treatment to be able to get to the right long-term periodontal treatment. Very thorough and professional. I also appreciate that she took the extra care to diagnose and help me address some soreness from orthodontic treatment that impacts daily quality-of-life. Dr Carpio and her staff are incredible. I have had two procedures with her now and, although, I was nervous prior to the first procedure, Dr. Carpio put me completely at ease. I had no fears going in for the second procedure. I highly recommend Dr Carpio! She is knowledgable, efficient and very caring. She takes time to discuss any questions you may have and doesn't make you feel rushed in any way. The staff is very welcoming and friendly while also being very professional. Dr. Carpio and her staff are friendly and experienced. I have been seeing Dr. Carpio for several years and I am always very pleased with her services. She is an excellent and caring physician.

I met Dr. Carpio yesterday for the first time and had no hesitation in putting myself under her care immediately, after seeing two other doctors. Dr. Carpio took the time to explain the issues and did a thorough check of my teeth. I was lucky she had a cancellation as my gums needed prompt attention. Today I had a deep cleaning and she explained each step and was gentle and caring and I felt no pain, no discomfort and felt at ease during the whole procedure. Her practice is very nice and neat and the staff are all very pleasant. I am so glad my sister insisted I see Dr. Carpio for a second opinion. Could not be happier. I returned to Dr. Carpio for a second procedure on my upper molars' gum. I didn't feel a thing! She's the best, and I cannot recommend her enough. Her staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well.

I was so traumatized because it was a lower front tooth. She was so patient and reassuring. She flawlessly guided me through the process of selecting the best option, that would ensure that I would retain a beautiful smile and healthy teeth. Dr. Carpio has been my periodontist for almost twenty years. Without her I fear where I would be in my dental care. Dr. Carpio is extremely caring, gentle and highly skilled. I have been extremely satisfied with the care I have received over many years from Dr. Carpio and her staff. I was referred to Dr. Carpio by my general dentist a number of years ago to treat an acute gum problem. Since that initial referral, Dr. Carpio has performed several periodontal procedures. I could not be more impressed with her and her staff. I believe that Dr. Carpio is an extraordinarily competent, caring skillful professional who always puts her patient first. The office is well run with competent and caring staff. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I have been impressed by the extreme precautions that Dr. Carpio and her staff have taken to keep me safe.

Dr. Carpio is an incredibly skilled periodontist and a lovely person. She did a molar implant for me last year, as well as bone graft and gum graft. These were not simple operations, but she put me at ease and made them seem so. She is also always acknowledged as one of the top dentists in the area, by Washingtonian, NoVa magazine, and other sources, and apparently for a good reason. Her office staff also follows her example of kindness and competence. They looked after my financial interests and squeezed me in for appointments when I needed it. Dr. Carpio is highly professional, high caliber, and extremely thorough. She is also a warm human being. I went to her even though she was out of plan because my in-plan provider made a mistake and I needed someone I could trust to fix what the prior provider had done to me. She went the extra mile. I could not recommend anyone more highly. Never again will I compromise on getting proper treatment for my mouth! Besides, her rates are competitive, so it was not a sacrifice to get the best care. I have been a patient of Dr. Lillian Carpio at the Periodontal Implant Institute for the last four years. As a result of a very traumatic accident to my mouth, I have required extensive dental work. I have had to see Dr. Carpio for treatment several times for different procedures, and I have always found her and her staff to be caring, kind and very professional. I have always felt that all of Dr. Carpio's attention was focused on me every time I was in the dental chair.
