I have know Linda James for 23 plus years and she’s done my surgeries as I wouldn’t have had it any other way. She is the best all around. She is very pleasant and cares deeply about her patients.

Dr. Linda James is the best, and I don't speak with light words. If it we're not for Dr. James, I would not be above ground today. She fought hard and long to keep me alive, with her knowledge and Exspertise she was able to do that. She is a very caring and compassionate Dr. There is not another Dr. like her. Your in the best of hands.

My appointment with Dr. James was Tuesday, December 29, 2020. I was treated in an astoundingly unprofessional way. Dr. James began loudly repeating that she didn’t treat my condition while she was still at the front of the office. She had never laid eyes on me. I stepped into the hallway to try to quiet her and to stop her from shouting my personal business to everyone present, (this is a small office - and we are a very small town), but she continued to speak loudly, listing all the grim treatments I would face, “guaranteed!” while still in the hallway. I am in my late 70s, strong, considering my age. I am grateful that my heart is strong. Someone more debilitated might have fainted or had some sort of heart seizure due to her behavior and her mouth stream of all the scary treatments I am facing. In the exam room I finally asked her to back off and she quieted down. Conclusion: this doctor dis-respected both me and my right to privacy.

Dr James is cool and knowledgeable the surgery was a breeze very cool person and hip!

I recently had surgery with Dr James, who is extraordinary in her field. My diagnosis was a surprise and she handled my case with expertise, skill and compassionate care, which is rare to find in a surgeon. I feel completely cared for and I am on the mend - giving many thanks to her.

Had post surgery adhesions several yrs after cancer surgery. 5 things needed attending including a stomach that had gotten behind the intestines, a hole, necrosis from intestine being choked off, etc. An army trained surgeon she checked the intestines from top to bottom and found a mess. She explains in full, before and after, never cutting short on details and time. Cheery, beautiful, competent. Never rushes in and out. Willing to stay and chat. Very encouraging. I wouldn't use anyone else

She performed a Laparoscopic Appendectomy on me and I am back to work at 100% just two weeks later. She spoke to me twice before the surgery and once again afterwards to see how I was doing. Her and her staff went over and above to make sure I felt comfortable and informed about what was going on with me throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend Dr.Linda James and the Mendocino Coast Hospital to anyone.

Dr. James is the best. She's done two major surgeries on me and taken care of about fifty skin cancers over the years. Caring, vivacious, and very sharp. She has me under my maiden name, Mavis Huff.
