Very difficult to work with. Rarely answer phones.
She is knowledgeable, pleasant and always on time. Diagnostic skills are far above average
If I could give her 0 stars I would. My husband and I brought our 5 month old daughter here after being referred to her by her now previous pediatrician. When we got into the room the doctors hair was not groomed, the paper on the bed was not changed from the last patient. She also touched the door after placing a glove on came back in then put another glove on the other hand but did not change the one that she touched the door with then began to examin my daughter very quickly. She pulled my daughters diaper down when we were there for a birth mark on her leg! So I was completely uncomfortable. She then told us that she wanted to do a biopsy of her leg and gave us no explanation as to why. We told her we wanted to wait and see if the birth mark grew or stayed the same size. She still proceeded to tell me that she wants to do it today and to give my daughter benedryl to make her sleepy during the procedure (we did not get it done today) Needless to say my husband and I left this appointment with no answers and uneasy hearts because of how rushed and unprofessional Dr.Mak is. I feel as if my daughters privacy was violated by her pulling her diaper down without permission and without a reasonable explanation. She also told me to stop feeding my daughter 6 times a day ( my daughter is breastfed and eats on demand) I will not be taking my daughter here and will be taking her else where for a second opinion! Had my first appointment today the doctor is way too fast for my liking I will be switching to another dermatologist didn’t seemed like she cared one bit was in a hurry.
