Rushed, no follow up on procedures ordered, not looking to see the wellness of the hospital patient and can’t be found to provide approvals for hospital discharge. Not impressed with this practice assigned by the hospital.

Do not let her treat you for Acute Pancreatitis. She tried to get me on food after only a couple days. She refused me pain medications. While in excruciating pain I had to personally call my Gastroenterologist to see if he can do anything. He then ordered scans (MRI I think) which showed that my Pancreas is FAR from being better. All Dr. Dix tried to do the entire time was to get me out of the hospital. It was VERY apparent that she knew NOTHING about Pancreatitis. I ended up staying for 7 days.

When being discharged from St. Luke's Baptist Hospital, this doctor was assigned as my discharge doctor for some reason. I don't even remember ever seeing her. Her discharge instructions were very incomplete. I was prescribed a drug Budesonide and nebulizer. Never told what it was for, but how does one get a nebulizer & use it? Nothing was prescribed for the constipation on since being in the hospital. I have tried getting a good phone number to call but not sucessful.

She refused to let me have my blood pressure medicine while I was hospitalized at Metropolitan Hospital. I was in for " food poisoning " and feel her lack of care caused my heart attack. She didn't examine me , only spoke to me and then didn't listen. Most horrible doctor ever and I hope she doesn't hurt others as much as she hurt me.
