Nightmare visit we later regretted. In the middle of a huge, very stressful and imminent overseas move, we went in to see about recommendations for assessments/schools for our adhd son. In the turmoil of the move I managed to forget to complete the paperwork they sent me. Upon learning this, Dr Efron’s demeanour toward us immediately turned from friendly to cold and antagonistic. We felt uncomfortable at the line of questioning that ensued but proceeded with the meeting. Big Mistake. She recorded inaccurate and erroneous information in our son’s file and REFUSED TO CORRECT it until we got the supervisor involved. Then we learn the wonderful thing about the US healthcare system that does not allow complete revisions. It just creates new files with the edits. If you need educational assessments, be extremely careful what you say to this doctor and give no more info than you are comfortable with. Take your own notes. Way to show empathy toward a very stressed SN family! ??
