Ms. Lisa Lynn Frady

My wife and I went to Lisa for marriage counseling at an incredibly desperate point. Lisa was very short with my wife before we ever met with her for a session, during the appointment setting phase. This should have been an indication of what sessions would be like. In our second session, Lisa snapped at my wife for feeling overwhelmed by the types of questions we were being asked. She was very sharp and rude. You could hear by her tone that she was very irritated that my wife was feeling tense about the questioning. While I understand that it’s important to gather background information about each partner in order to properly understand issues that may impact the marriage, filling two entire sessions with what could have easily been an intake form, is frustrating and of little help for a couple that is on the very edge of divorce and is needing some guidance, some hope. And snapping at someone in this delicate state is highly unprofessional and uncalled for.

Talks down to you if you disagree with her on anything. Has an attitude. Spent the couples therapy sessions asking medical information instead of asking for it in intake forms. Wastes time on couples therapy, almost like trying to drag out the time in the sessions when partner and I needed immediate help. By end of second appointment I was done. I’ll not be talked down to, talked at, belittled, etc. Asking what medications we take is not a “way to get to know us”. Her attitude was so condescending I had to hang up I was frustrated. It felt like she was prolonging the sessions to get more money from insurance. My spouse, who I am separated from, was also shocked and agreed that I did not deserve to be talked down to and given attitude. I’ve never met a more aggressive and demanding person who worked in the field. Don’t go to her for couple’s therapy.

Lisa helped me discover myself, to deal with trauma, abuse, and neglect that was inflected on me from a child that rolled over into adulthood. Today , I am forever grateful for her guidance in helping me see my self worth and just because bad things happened at the hands of another, that was not my fault . She helped me discover a healthy way of thinking and living. She does not sugar coat life, very professional, and at the same time feeling like you have a best friend, a safe place to heal. Still today she is my go to when I need help sorting through everyday life.

I have been seeing Dr Frady now for about 4 months. I have had such a positive experience with her. She is a great listener and gives wonderful and insightful feedback and advice. I have been dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety recently. I was told many times by my PCG to find a therapist to talk to. At my first session with Dr. Frady I will admit that I didn't like it at first. I was not accustomed to talking to a total stranger about my thoughts and feelings. But I was pleasantly surprised when I continued to see her, what a difference it made. She is the listener I never knew I needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Frady!

Lisa is so insightful and truly gifted at helping others. She has helped me find my voice, strength and confidence. I now have self worth that I have struggled with all my life. She is so amazing at helping you truly think through your needs. I say she has a magic wand because I have seen many therapists in my lifetime but no one has helped me the way she has. I do not recognize myself and it’s an amazing thing. I am a strong confident person now that is proud of who I am and not ashamed to be me. She has truly helped me heal and I am forever grateful.

she dropped me without notice or explanation and discussed details of my treatment and progress with my wife whom she was also seeing. She would not return my calls texts or emails and refused to see me in person, shortly thereafter my wife left me and walked away from our 10 year marriage siting Lisa as the primary reason as justification for abandoning our union and vows. stay clear of this one.

Working with Lisa I have found out that my happiness depends on changing myself and my way of thinking rather than depending on others to change. A simple concept, hard to put into action without the proper guidance. Lisa offers excellent guidance. Highly recommend.

I was in a "dark scary place" and Lisa answered my call immediately. She is caring and sensitive and knowledgeable. She tells it like it is and helped me see through my cluttered mind to prioritize what needed to be done. Lisa was just the guide I needed to get me out of the tangle my life has become.

My time with Lisa Frady is time well spent! A year ago I had so much anxiety and felt my world was crashing down around me, and today I am a much more balanced, anxiety-free, and happy person. Lisa is very easy to talk to. She is a good listener, not only to what you are saying, but what you're not saying as well. She asks the right questions and easily gets to the heart of the matter, often offering a surprisingly different perspective. Her suggestions and solutions work when implemented!

Found her to be very helpful in helping me work through my issues and developing coping skills. My level of stress has been greatly reduced.
