Like all the other sites I have reviewed, my review will be the same as theirs. I am leaving this practice after many years. It’s always rush rush rush no throw exam no thrill explanation. I was to have my annual check up a few weeks ago and it lasted exactly 4 minutes. I was in my drape ready with everything off except my underwear, and She incredulously ask do you want me to check your back and legs to? There’s been too many times where the carrier has not been a good quality and I too am leaving the practice

Like many other valuations on various sites by two and leading the practice because I get very little care and not enough time with this provider. I was to have my annual physical a few weeks ago which took four minutes and I’m sitting there in my drape without my clothes on except underwear and she said do you want me to check your back and legs in an incredulous tone. I too will be leaving this practice. I’m very concerned because I’ve had multiple pre-cancerous lesions and I feel like I’m not evaluated properly anymore, if I ever really was.

The worst appointment ever. My words were twisted to sound like I was crazy. One example was I saw a large spider. To I saw large grotesque spiders. Plural there was one unusual large spider which can be found on the web if you look. I waited months seeking help for bites on my legs and scalp which I cant seem to get rid of. I brought slides of what was biting me she could not be bothered. I feel like I had no exam. I have heard of Dermatologists doing scrapings and looking through microscope. I was not bit by a spider so why she made a fuss over instead of making any effort to look at my scalp. I believe just from my imagination I must have seen a colleague of hers and had words as she certainly did not want to help me. She wasted her and my time. She should stick to zits if thats all she can handle. Lisa you do not have a clue the harm you do to people when you don't even try.

we have been going to dr. kugleman for many years - but things have changed - always in a hurry - no time for questions - in and out in a few minutes. the worst thing is she has NO EMPATHY. everything is rush, rush, - whatever procedure is needed is done as quick as she can - last time i was there she didn't even wait till the numbing injection took effect. it was so painful - but she really didn't care. this is not the first time that has happened. we will no longer be going there - taking all family members with us as we leave.

My visit lasted all of thirty seconds. I explained to her that I had a severe rash due to multiple bug bites on the dorsal of both feet for over three weeks and I was very concerned since I am a diabetic of serious complications. She barely looked at them and just prescribed cortisone for itching. Went to my primary the following week since it was still not getting better, he assessed that I had cellulitis and put me on an antibiotic within days I was on the road to recovery. Dr. Kugelman needs to learn to give patients better evaluation rather than just a quick three second look.

Both my daughter and I have been seeing Dr. Kugelman for years. We have the same type of skin. She is extremely knowledgeable, and has an excellent way of explaining everything thoroughly. You feel you are always getting exactly the right advice and treatment at the right time.

I have been researching physicians that specialize in dermatology and was hopeful about Dr. Kugelman, based on reviews and people's responses of her work. I tried to book an appointment as a new patient, and unfortunately she does not take in new people. I have been suffering with atopic dermatitis for 10 months, and have been looking for good physicians that could help me relieve my symptoms that often times affect my daily living. I just wished they could of helped me because, especially when insurance is an issue in regards to a Dr office accepting plans, and that this practice miraculously is able to take mine, it is really disheartening that she is unable to take in people that need help. I was told over the phone that she will only take people in if they're a close family member or friend. Please reconsider in not taking people in when they are in need of good care. I had a limited amount of time in the area before I started a new job and asked to see someone quickly and they made it work. The very young receptionist is awesome. Kugelman is also pretty solid.

I've been a patient of Dr Kugelman for about 2 years and highly recommend her. She has changed the office staff recently and the culture is much more customer focused and welcoming. I recommended Dr Kugelman to my wife and several friends who have all been very pleased.

Having been a patient of her for many years and having seen many other specialists with several chronic conditions, I feel Dr Kuggleman is at the top of the food chain as far as Dermatolgists go. She is professional and exact and she has to have the sharpest eyes in Hartford county and her staff is second to none. I know everybody there on a first name basis as i go there every 6 weeks.

This office is very misleading and very hard to deal with.

Whoever picks up the phone is so rude. I called and asked if they were accepting new patients, the person responded no. I asked if she had any clue if they would be anytime soon, she responded they aren't going to. She then hung up on me.

30 year client. Called with a medical emergency and was refused accommodation (Dr. Kugelman was unwilling to see me on short notice, i.e. within a few days time). I understand that it takes more than one day to book a normal appointment, and that has nothing to do with the fact that I called asking to be seen under a special arrangement due to acute symptoms. I'm crossing Hartford Dermatology off my recommendation list and am considering registering a formal complaint against the practice. Great doctor; great office personnel

Lisa Kugelman is very thorough and has eagle eyes when it comes to spotting anything unusal on my skin. Highly recommend her.

I have been with Doctor Kugelman for over 15 years and that in its self tells you why I gave her 5 stars. She is fantastic and has helped me with my skin issues. I had nothing but great service over the years, thank you and keep up the great work.

Called to make appointment she came highly recommended by another Dr. they are not taking new patients. Quite snobby

Doctors can be very intimidating since we need them but I have never seen this type of misconduct. The staff is very very rude, the wait times exceed over a half hour sometimes one hour, phones a busy more than the once in awhile. I have had to bring my child back for the same condition more than once to be put on the correct treatment plan.

No bedside manner (she is often impersonal and cold - you get the feeling that she's faking it if/when she does make conversation); always feel rushed during appointments; incorrect diagnoses/lack of concern for issues brought up (she always seems to say there is nothing she can do, even when other doctors seen after her do not have the same response to the same issue(s).
