Dr. Lisa Maria Williamson

My OB recommended Dr. Williamson’s office to care for my newborn daughter. I loved my Obstetrician and had a great delivery experience so I really trusted her judgement. However my experience was horrible. The office had Rude and unprofessional staff. I was told I had to pay $130.00 cash upfront on my first visit even though I had great insurance. Was told that if the insurance company covered the visit later, the money would refunded. So, I paid the money, in CASH as they requested. But the next visit when it was clear my insurance covered my visits I was refunded my money via CHECK which was annoying. But I figured a check from my child’s pediatrician should be good right? WRONG! When I deposited the check, it cleared at first. I usually use cash to make purchases, but since I knew I had the refund money in my account, I used my debit card to do grocery shopping a few days later. About two weeks later my account was in the red. Upon investigation, the bank told me the check had actually bounced. All that shopping I did put my account in the negative and they were now charging me overdraft fees????. Needless to say, I kept my kids far away from that office. What a nightmare. very professional, no hassle to make appointments, answers calls at any time of the night, very nice staff, understandable explanations when questions are asked, clean work area, very welcoming and comfortable and a overall well rounded malpractice
