As a new patient to Dr. Hanson, I’d read the reviews and her credentials prior to making an appointment and had searched multiple OB GYN’s in the area and decided her location and professional credentials were aligned with my needs. Upon arrival at her office there was no wait, she was prompt for my appt time and completed an annual PAP. She reviewed my previous records with me, answers all of my questions and provided consult on IUD’s I was interested in. After checking with my insurance she stated if I’d like to get an IUD installed during my appt after my PAP I could. I agreed and she walked me through every step of the procedure which took less than 5 minutes total. There was minimal pain involved and they provided NSAID if needed. I found her bedside manners to be warm, professional, confident and thorough. It has been two weeks since my appt and I have experienced no complications. I will be returning. I have been a patient of Dr Hanson’s for 25 years. She has seen me through the child bearing years, a battle with Uterine cancer and then through the menopause years and beyond. She is caring, compassionate, listens to her patients and seeks to provide them with the type of care they desire ( like using plant based hormonal replacement therapy and at the time a new and cutting edge treatment for uterine cancer which has now become a standard) She has been there every step of the way for me. I can’t speak highly enough of her not only as a physician, but as an amazing woman

After my 3rd annual exam, calling it quits. She double billed for an additional visit with a preventive care visit, exploiting concerns I mentioned after she asked how I was doing. Two were menopause related and the other I even said tongue in cheek was not her area. Yet she noted them as diagnostic codes (no diagnosis or treatment) & billed an entire additional visit. We were together MAYBE 15 minutes TOTAL in the exam room only. As a courtesy they've agreed to write off. The worst!
