No, I have not received services from this person. But anyone who is considering doing so should look into the legal action against him for multiple kickbacks received and not providing pain medication. Also, he has a record including domestic violence which shouldn’t allow him to be anywhere involved in someone’s health.

Avoid at all costs! Uses counterfeit equipment and leaves people in worse shape than they came in.

Dr. Tantuwaya did a great job with my discectomy/laminectomy. The care I received was top notch. He also fixed a botched procedure on my grandmother and took excellent care of her as well.

I broke my back in a motorcycle accident and I was never supposed to walk again, but Dr. Tantuwaya performed a great surgery and I started walking after less than a year of being in a wheelchair. I was actually trying to set up a follow up appointment, but I saw that he is no longer practicing. Nobody knows my case like he does so I hope he gets his legal issues resolved soon because I really need to discuss how I've progressed. This guy is a hack. See all the lawsuits pending and against him in San Diego California

If I could give zero stars I would. He performed surgery on my husband. No follow up appointments ever. Every time I called to schedule a follow up appointment he wasn't seeing patient . My husband had 3 staph infections and had to have the hardware removed because they were contaminated. I wish tantuwaya would spend the rest of his life in pain like my husband then he can rot in hell for eternity. If I could give zero stars I would. He performed surgery on my husband. DR. Tantuwaya has done amazing things for my back pain! He is kind, thorough and all around brilliant! I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a neurosurgeon! I have NEVER. Felt rushed, he listens to my every word and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. He is excellent at explaining the procedures and the expectations. He is truly a kind man.

I have been a patient of Dr.Tantuwaya since 2012. I have had two surgeries on my back and one on my neck I came out with flying colors. He's a very good Doctor,he listens to your needs,and explains what happens before surgery and prepares you for your recovery after surgery.
