The best Dr very kind helpful excellent person.

Dr. Bley is fantastic. Super well versed on conditions deemed rare. It is so hard to find a doctor who is familiar with collagen disorders, let alone someone who is willing to help alleviate the pain! He set up surgery and this shoulder no longer hangs at an angle and is pain free. Reading the poor reviews makes me wonder how someone can blame a doctor for wait times when that's out of their control. He will definitely be my go-to doc for my next repair.

Rude, insensitive and dismissive. He told me I was fine, when I was telling him I was in horrific debilitating pain. He can not thoroughly discuss musculature and nerves of pelvis. If you’re female and have pelvic issues, you may need a Urogynecologist.

My 83 year old mother had an appointment with Dr. Bley for some hip pain she was experiencing. He kept her waiting 20 minutes, then just stuck his head in the door and said "What am I seeing you for?". No introduction, no hand shake, no greeting what so ever. I feel bad that his parents raised him to be so full of himself but never taught him the basic courtesies. He never shut the door, leaned against the wall the entire appointment like he couldn't be bothered. He told her she had arthritis, my mother told him that she was told it was bursitis, his response was "So you have bursitis then". Did he even look at her xray? He never once examined her. He also said to her that he didn't know why she was in to see him, that he was a Sports Medicine doctor. My mother felt humiliated and frustrated. He should be ashamed of himself. I'm ashamed of him!

I would not recommend him. He was horrible at follow up. The surgery experience was the worst I've ever had. Not enough beds, nurses being called away and dropping things. Worst of all at 2nd post OP visit I was told he could do nothing more for me. While seeing another surgeon for a second opinion, I was told cold laser would help with my swelling and healing. Why wasnt this offered directly after surgery? Or even later? I think his ego got in the way.

i had a torn rotator cuff for almost a year before I sought the proper treatment. I met with Dr Bley, he diagnosed my problem and I scheduled surgery. I felt extremely comfortable with him. Very pleasant bedside manner and highly skilled. I was amazed with the results of the surgery. Like there was never a problem!! I would definitely recommend Dr. Bley to family and friends without any hesitation.

Waited over an hour to be seen by Dr. Bley without any apology for the wait. He even walked into the office 20minutes AFTER my appointment was scheduled. He clearly didn't read any of my medical records prior to my appointment, even trying to tell me diagnostic tests were fine that were clearly acute abnormalities (as noted by several other MDs). Be weary of any doctor that works for an insurance company-- their job is to discredit you. You're a dollar sign to them. Advocate for yourself!!!

I had a torn rotator cuff repaired by Dr. Bley in September of 2014. I can honestly say a year later, it is like I never had a tear. The surgery and repair was excellent. I am back to 100 percent motion and absolutely no pain. Not only is Dr. Bley extremely skilled, he is very sweet and compassionate. I would highly recommend him! If you have any shoulder issues, this is your man!

Severely damaged my rotator cuff four years ago, and recovered better than before. On any evaluation I score Dr. Bley a ten. I couldn’t ask for anything more of a surgeon. And now, having injured the other shoulder, I’m enormously relieved to be able to see him again.
