Ditto to the wonderful comments that were made above. Dr. Kavoussi defines excellence. He is G-d in disguise. As legendary as he is a surgeon he shines so much more as a humble and caring human being. His team is from the same ilk. Imagine everyone performing their work as he.

He saved my life!

Dr. Kavoussi did surgery on my kidney and also treats my BPH. He is a talented and caring doctor. He takes the time to explain everything and is not an alarmist or quick to treat without complete research. His assistant Nancy Lee is very competent and always helpful. I trust him more than any other doctor I have worked with.

From the moment I met him to discuss my case, through the minute I left the hospital, I was in totally competent hands. I needed a Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy. All my many questions were patiently answered and the after care at Long Island Jewish Medical Center exceeded my expectations. Dr. K and his staff checked me out everyday, made me feel secure and did whatever possible to relieve my anxiety and pain after surgery. Highly recommended!

My experience with Dr. Kavoussi was fantastic. He really seemed to care about me. I was never rushed during office visits and my daughter was also allowed to ask questions. The surgery her performed was very successful. Excellent doctor!

Dr kavoussi is an amazing kidney surgeon, with lots of passion and compassion, my mother has undergone a nephroctomy , we are deeply thankful for his wonderful service.
