I had an appointment with Dr Romeo, for my no fault case. He is the other parties Doctor. So I went to the office. I needed to use the ladies room. As I was going into the ladie room, a African American woman, was at the door calling my name. So I said kindly to her, I am The patient. She proceeded to be nasty to me saying go to the back, I said where? She then with an attitude told me, to the back room 1. So I walked to the back, into the room, Dr. Romeo was sitting at his desk, I said to him kindly, that I was the patient. I then proceeded to tell him about the woman’s attitude, and rudeness, yelling at me. I explained that’s not very professional of her. As I continued to explain the woman walked into the room. She sat on the chair and rolled her eyes at me, and abruptly turned her chair to the laptop. I assume she was going to record the examination. So I said to Dr. Romeo, she’s still continuing to be rude and disrespectful with you present. I said I don’t feel comfortable with her in the room. He then due to the covid there could be no other persons in the room, which I explained was understandable, but I still felt uncomfortable. He then with attitude said to me, the bed is right there, I then said to him, now your speaking to me with a tone of disrespect! I then said I wasn’t comfortable with either of them. He then with a tone, and attitude said, are you going to get on the bed or what? I then said I’m uncomfortable with both of you, and was leaving, to call my attorney. The receptionist as well as my daughter heard everything! The receptionist said to me that was horrible for then to treat you that way! I called my lawyer immediately and told him I will never go back to Dr, Romeo!! My advice to anyone who goes to this Doctor. Have a recorder to record the examination. As far as the woman, I am going to get her name. I still have time to get a police report for negligence in their part to speak to me with disrespect! No one should have to go through what I endured! I repeat Li said to Dr. Romeo neither one of them were being professionals. My advice is, if you ever have to be seen by Dr. Romeo, request another no fault Doctor!!! To allow his assistant to treat me that way, and they he proceeded to do the same, was frightening to say the least. I had an appointment with Dr Romeo, for my no fault case. I had an appointment for a work place accident review. I was seen for no longer than 1 minute. The doctor is supposed to thoroughly check my injury. I have permanent lose of motion, he didn't note that in my report. I don't know if he has a deal with the insurance company, but my doctor and him have completely different reports. He was supposed to measure the range of motion lost in my arm and just magically made up a number to put in the report. Do not recommend for insurance follow ups. Did my independent medical exam which means he is an insurance company shill. C'mon Louie do you really need the money that bad ? I wonder if the red color in your face visible even with a mask means anything ?

Dr. Romeo has taken care of my mother. He was so thorough and knowledgeable and by far the best orthopedic doctor that we have been to. He took his time and listened carefully to all the issues my mother had at the time. His bedside manner was excellent. He is such an honest doctor!!! His expertise on diagnosing her issues were spot on. He took every detail into consideration and did not miss any symptoms. I highly recommend Dr. Romeo to all my family, friends and potential patients who are looking for a doctor with the highest expertise, experience and impeccable record on Long Island!!!!

Dr Romeo is the Best he Straight Forward and Courteous to your need,I had as well of Friends Hip Replacements by Dr Romeo and their is nobody that can do as well as he has Done.

Dr. Romeo did a total hip on my mother. She was walking up and down stairs on day 3 and ditched the cane on day four and has had no problems in years. Now it's my turn and I wouldn't have anyone else replace my hips.

Yes I would recommend Dr. Romeo to anyone friends or family who needs knee replacement. He was honest straight and to the point. He changed his schedule to fit me in. I had double knee replacement on 11/2016.My scar is so thin and perfect compared to all the other patients in hospital rehab. His assist is amazing as well as the office staff.
