WHOA! Hold on a minute, Chickee.. I just stumbled across your Review(s) as I was searching for the fax number. Seems you are slamming my precious Doctor Team all over the web. It's obvious that these (and others) were written by the same person. You need to work on your sneakiness factor. You're not very good at it; therefore - these reviews should not be taken as credible, in my view. I have been a Patient for over ten years. How many Physicians have you known that answer their phones directly and conduct Administrative Duties, all by themselves? It takes a team, unless you have no patients to tend to. He's had the same Team for over ten years. I'd say that speaks for itself . . . . Really irks me that you have the nerve to say he is all about the money. Not in my experience AT ALL. He treated me for years, when I was uninsured. Gave me a discount rate. I just found today that I had missed an appointment. I was out of refills and did not realize it, until the Pharmacy notified me that my meds were shipping. With three refills! Even though it was my fault, his TEAM made sure I was taken care of. Because - they care! about their patients. I'll not speculate why you were dropped, but I don't need to. It's fairly obvious. I did not intend to leave a review but when I saw this, I could not, in good conscience allow you to discourage patients from being cared for by the Best Doctor and Team in this town. Geeze, Louise! I'm not writing the review for the Doctor. I'm writing for the people who have special needs and are searching for someone who cares and is very loyal to his patients. Do not hesitate. Seriously. You will be cheating yourself out of the best care available, in this small town and beyond.

The only reason I wrote this is that I see the review that someone else left with the same issue happening, so I know I'm not the only one. More people need to come out and get rid of this NON-caring Office staff and this DR who pretends to care! This DR. is All about money, NO care for patients, and staff rules the office! First couple of visits you are like, " YES! I found the perfect DR, He seems to actually care about me and even tells me to call his phone personally if I have any issues with my medicine". Then you start to see that, The ladies at the counter are the true runners of the office. They will not let you personally speak to the DR., They will take 4-5 days to get the message to the DR. I became very depressed at one point and couldn't leave my home for a few months, This Office was VERY UNSUPPORTIVE! During that few months, I needed refills of the Depression medicine but they wanted me to come in I explained the situation, and instead of helping me, I received a letter in the mail stating he could no longer be my DR. and I needed to find a new DR. WTF! You call this a true DR? A true Dr would be supportive and understand since he's your Dr and knows exactly what you're going through. But apparently not, because if care was what he was doing, he would NOT just randomly get rid of you because you are physically and mentally unable to move!

Dr Herrera is a great doctor. Ive been going to him for three years. I feel comfortable talking to him. He addresses any and all of my concerns. This man is super nice. I dont understand him at times but he has no problem repeating himself and he makes sure i understand before i leave him office. These negative comments dont sound like Dr Herrera. And Tonya is a sweetheart!

Will get rid of you for no reason! I see him for mental issues as well as skin issues and after I requested a refill on my medication because I had 1 refill and the pharmacy stated it was out of date by 5 days I called to get a new script. I took them for over a week and multiple calls. After my script was finally put in a few days go by and I get a letter, I CAN NO LONGER BE YOUR DR. ! Go figure. The staff is horrible and are the ones who run the DR. The DR. tells me to call him directly when I need a refill so I can bypass the nurses because they will NOT make sure your meds are filled and when you do, They get rid of you. Good DR. but not worth it if they're just gonna get rid of you for following the DR. orders.

Dr Herrera isn’t a very friendly Dr. Most can’t understand his English. He’s good maybe for the Hispanic person but even then you can tell it’s all about money not your health. Most money and Insurance hungry Dr you would ever meet.

Great visit most caring Dr and staff

communications is awful , does not explain anything medically his English is poor , and doesn't listen to patients not what a doctor should be. In my opinion, patient and doctor work together this one doesn't and staff can be rude with no communication either , just do this and don't ask why ?

Explains conditions. Patient. Takes his time and answers questions. Makes patients feel safe. I highly recommend. Office staff efficient and helpful.

As a doctor, I liked him very much. The problem is that I couldn't understand what he was saying much of the time. My husband and I both left his practice because of that.

i cant speak for people who had issues,but i have never had any,seeing this dr for over 2 yrs.entire staff has been nothing but exceptional to me,so has dr. is he a little difficult to understand sometimes ? yes. but his staff helps with that. i would Rather have a dr i can trust and be able to work with any language issues than to have someone i can understand and does nothing for me. this dr believes in a lot of blood work.GOOD.i have seen25+ drs in spring hill in 17 yrs.he is best.A+++++

This Doctor is extremely careless. I went to him for a UTI, he prescribed over the counter meds for pain, antibiotics, & bloodwork. The bloodwork came back indicating that the infection was resistant to antibiotics. He called to tell me the antibiotics would not work, even if I was feeling better. He had me get a pick line for super antibiotics at the hospital. The meds he had prescribed for pain skewed the test. I went through pain, exorbitant expense and now I am allergic to cephalosporin

Staff is rude....done.

I started seeing this Dr. in January. He had me come in 3 times in 5 months for conversation about Asthma and to tell me my blood work came back fine. I've had Asthma for 39yrs, what can help possibly tell me that I don't already know? He also made me take the same blood work that my Obgyn had me do a days prior. I personally feel, he's all about the money. Anything to get you into the office so he can charge your insurance company he will do.

I was heartbreakingly disappointed. Went in for UTI, did lab work, and was told that the infection was antibiotic resistant. Instead of performing the lab test again, to confirm unusual results, Dr. Herrera sent me to the hospital for a pick line and then treatment with a specialist on a daily basis.The folks at the hospital were perplexed about this procedure and kept asking me question as to why. The daily antibiotic treatments were so strong that caused me to become allergic to them.
