My initial appointment with Dr. Redondo one year ago was great. I came back with the same issue and he seemed very bothered by the fact that I needed someone who does hip arthroscopic surgery and not hip surgery, as if I knew I should not have come to him. Thankfully the very nice technician who gave me a cortisone shot (not at my request yet the doctor after prescribing it said "ya know you can only get so many injections") explained in kinder terms what a labral tear was and how it would be fixed. Dr. Redondo said they'd "punch two wholes in my leg and fix it." I was kind, made sure not to talk too much, but I heard the doctor outside the door talking to a nurse and distinctly heard him whisper loudly "don't come back again." OMG! I insinuated that I heard that when she came in to prep me for the shot and she definitely seemed embarrassed. I see other doctors there that I REALLY like, thank goodness. Very surprising and somewhat arrogant. We were fellow high school graduates but I didn't bring it up because of how it all went down, not that he'd care. Glad I'm done with him.

Last year, I had my left knee replaced. A month later it got infected and I had an additional surgery (had to be in hospital a week on IV antibiotics). Went home with a picc line. Two months, later they had to clean knee out and another week long hospital stay. 3 total surgeries by Dr Redondo. I was in the best hands!! It didn’t help matters that I’m a diabetic. Anyways…. Almost a year later, I had my right knee replaced. So far so good thanks to Dr Redondo and Nick!!!!

Dr. Redondo has been my doctor for the last 9 years. He honestly changed my life for the better with the corrective knee surgery I had. I spent my whole life dislocating my knee from when I was in 4th grade through until adulthood. I’m happy to say my knee hasn’t dislocated since before my surgery.

As always he was prompt, respectful and professional. I cannot find anything to complain about. Dr. Redondo is a truly exceptional physician.

Excellent visit today. Good follow up results on knee replacement and no need to return for 3 years! Continue to work of strength and got physical therapy referral to help increase stairs use. Dr. Redondo is very personable, takes time to answer questions and affirms patient success. Also helped relieve anxiety that it is time to have shoulder done now, Thanks for great results

Excellent experience, Dr. Redondo is very thorough and explains everything so you have a good understanding. He’s keeps up with all the latest advancements in his field and there’s no pressure for surgery until you’re ready. I’ve been a patient for about five years now.

Dr Redondo really made me feel at ease. He's straight forward but he still gives you all of your options. I trust his opinion and I am glad to have found such a great doctor.

I like that Dr. Redondo gets right to the point and listens when I have questions or comments. He’s definitely my go to orthopedic doctor.

Wonderful doctor

Please avoid! Dr. Redondo performed surgery on a relative of mine and is now in need of a 2nd surgery to replace his work. Dr. Redondo would frequently discourage my relative from seeing other doctors or getting a second opinion because “nobody was going to touch ‘his’ leg”. That was not YOUR leg Dr.. Additionally, he once greeted my relative by calling them “broken”. They would not be broken if you had done your job correctly. Stay away Please avoid! Great Experience.

Dr. Redondo is the best is my opinion. Tells it to you straight and answers any questions you may have. This is my second go around with him.

Friendly, thorough, and professional.

Did x-rays,, discuss findings and made suggestions for relief. Very professional and willing to listen and gives an explanation of therapy

The Redondos have been treating my family for years! His father treated both my daughters . Now his son is my orthopedic doctor and displays the same knowledge when it comes to my care. Together we agreed on a plan to keep from performing knee replacement until it is necessary.

Very thorough and straightforward about my hip replacement surgery. Listened to my concerns.

Dr. Redondo is the best, I have been going to him for 25 years and he always has treated me with the utmost respect and care, I wouldn’t go to anyone else for knee issues.

He is an excellent doctor. My only disappointment was his insistence I have someone the first 2 weeks live with me full time because he's afraid of blood clots. My son lives with me but works. Dr Shirazi, who prescribes the Xarelto, has me down to 10 from 20 and almost took me off entirely when I saw him last October. He said I'd need to not take it 2 days prior to surgery but go back to it after surgery. I understand the smoking and will do my best to eliminate this beast.

Dr. Redondo is a great doctor, I’m so glad I was able to meet with him.

Very helpful, honest, and transparent with me and my injury. Answered every question that I had and was very patient for his patient.

Dr Redondo is the best Orthopedic surgeon in Oak Lawn, Illinois. I know him from 1997, He saved my daughters life then , did surgery on her fractured elbow, & her elbow rotating 360 deg. Dr Redondo was very professional He did an excellent job explaining the deterioration of my knee. He gave me a very satisfactory explanation about my up coming knee replacement. I am very confident in Dr Redondo

Always a positive experience

All my questions were answered and he always takes time to listen to any concerns I may have. As expected my knee replacement is doing great.

Dr. Redondo is always professional. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions to my satisfaction. I will be receiving gel injections later this month. I feel confident that I am in good hands with MOC; Dr. Redondo guiding my care.

Dr. Redondo was thorough, and explained exactly what Bursitis is and possible causes. I received a anti-inflammatory shot the same day. We are exploring knee surgery and he gave me several options and time to decide. I am confident Dr. Redondo is the surgeon for me.

Dr Redondo did a partial knee replacement on me in 2007. Now I’m having new issues with my other knee. He is fabulous - I wouldn’t think of going anywhere except to him. He’s easy to talk to, he listens and answers all questions. He’s truthful and Great at putting you at ease.

Great service.

Redondo is the best but getting through the front desk! Four girls working front desk yet only one checking in patients. The way the line goes too, you have to go all the way in and then all the way back because the girl is the only one working not easy for orthopedic patients or people in wheelchairs.

MOC is always a pleasure to visit, the staff is wonderful and I always leave feeling better.

Dr. Redondo performed my hip replacement surgery approximately one year ago. The results have been outstanding. I thanked Dr. Redondo for giving me the opportunity to walk pain free again. Upon my one year follow-up visit, Dr. Redondo took the time to answer all my questions and address any concerns I had. He examined my x-ray and told me everything looked just great, but that I should follow up in three years.. he has a very pleasant and friendly demeanor, and was genuinely concerned about my well-being. Dr. Redondo is great had surgery on my knee total knee replacement, and Dr. Redondo And his team was wonderful, explained things to me and gave me their phone and cell Numbers to call with any questions.

Dr Redondo has a great “bed-side” manner and listens thoroughly to your issues…then he explains the pros and cons of treatment as well as their long term effects. I am very happy with my visit and look forward to the road of feeling better.

Prompt Courteous service from both office and professional staff. Dr Redondo most attentive to my problem and made himself immediately available when I experienced a pre-surgery problem. Communication with my primary physician is excellent. All in all, they make a bad situation better.

Dr. Redondo was wonderful. He told me what was wrong with my knee and took care of it for now. Will see him again soon for more treatment. Definitely recommend him.

I was extremely impressed with every aspect of my visit. Registration and all assisting staff was professional and friendly. Most importantly, Dr Rodondo lived up to his excellent reputation of knowledge of orthopedics and manner of patient care. I highly recommend MOC and this particular doctor

I have faith in Dr. R he makes people feel like he cares and I believe he does. He had worked hard on helping me when I had knee surgery by doing it the next day. Most of the receptionists at the office are great except for 1 who always seems to have a attitude and makes you feel like your bothering her, been there and was ignored to hear about her lunch for the day, I dread going in there when she is working. Nasty person! Mostly see her at Orland office! Dr. Is fantastic!
