Dr. Luqi Chi

Always generous with her time, and knowledge. Very thorough in all areas. I recommend Dr. Chi with the whole hearted knowingness she will surpass all past experiences with other doctors.

My husband went to see Dr Chi about his breathing device 2 years ago. During his visit she told him he would have Parkinson desease with 10 years and this put him in a downward spiral. His primary Dr is very concerned because of his change in behavior and is very conserned for his life. This was Not at all necessary for her to pronounce this over him. His Primary Dr is very concerned about my husbands safety as well. I would NOT recommend this Dr at all. Not a PROFESSIONAL -Attitude toward her patient at all.

Have not spoken to Dr. Chi since day I met her! Always get VM at office. She blocks return calls to what I guess is her personal phone. I failed to sleep at overnight sleep test. Laid there for 5-1/2 hours, until 4am, and gave up. Sleep technician told me that the test was to set my numbers on my CPAP and that too high of settings are JUST AS BAD AS NOT HAVING A CPAP. Days later, Assistant returned my calls/VMs and suggested Dr wanted me to take different at-home oximetry test. I asked why "medically necessary" overnight, onsite test seemingly was no longer necessary given I failed to go to sleep. NEVER GOT AN ANSWER. NEVER GOT A CALL FROM DOCTOR (other than one VM telling me only that she had test results and they would call me or I was supposed to call them. Very unclear). Left VM with list of questions to be answered before I would come in for follow-up visit. Asst called back without answers. I blew up and yelled that I need some information as they now have two sets of test results and I have had no communication with Dr. Chi. Communication with the Asst. was so poor, I asked that they send me the results. They did. I returned my CPAP and am on my own....with the bills. Can only conclude that Dr will not do anything UNLESS IT IS BILLABLE. Shocker!....right? Have not spoken to Dr. Chi since day I met her! Always get VM at office. Because of a heart arrhythmia, it was important that I be evaluated for sleep apnea as soon as possible. Dr. Chi had a very full schedule and her assistant worked with me to get an appointment as soon as there was a cancellation. She was willing to make nearly daily contact with me. In the end, I was seen because Dr. Chi gave up her lunch for my first appointment. In subsequent meetings, Dr. Chi has been responsive, encouraging, and thorough. Because of heart involvement, I am trusting her with my life and I believe I'm getting excellent care. I highly recommend her. Dr Chi is a great listener, highly intelligent and knowledgeable. I was very favorably impressed with her. She takes her time with you and does her best to help you??

I was extremely disappointed with Dr. Chi and demanded she be removed from my car. She was curt, rude, condescending and worst of all, refused to allow me to speak. She constantly interrupted me mid-sentence when I attempted to ask questions or explain my discomfort. I know, I know, I know, you didn't like it followed by her ordering me to submit to further testing. Doctors are service providers just like our plumbers. You have a choice. Do not choose someone so disrespectful.
