Dr. Malcolm Daniel Eggart

Never got a visit. He was referred by the emergency room. I called twice abiding by the request of waiting at least 72 hrs for a call back. No one ever called me to make an appointment. I understand there are healthcare shortages but I am suffering in pain and find it inexcusable that no one could get back to me to schedule or at least tell me they aren’t taking new patients at this time. I can’t comment on the dr but the office is certainly lacking.

My guy went to Dr. Eggart and swears by him. We were so lucky to have him as his Dr. He takes his time and truly makes you feel like you are important to him. He preformed several Kyphoplasty's on him and it made him feel so much better. I would highly recommend him for a Dr.

I have seen first hand the interaction of Dr Eggart with his patients before and after surgery and his perfesionalism is impeccable and he is friendly and down to earth . Has all the time in the world to explain things making everyone feel knowledgeable about what he is about to do or done after surgery I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone

I had the worst appointment ever. He was combative the moment he entered the room. He did not listen to what I had to say, he cut me off and was only interested in dazzling me with his credentials. I have had 4 brain surgeries and I was wanting to interview my next surgeon and he was offended by my questions. He was combative and did not want to tell me about his education and number of similar surgeries performed. I do not have any confidence in him

Dr Eggart and his staff have been wonderful to me throughout a very difficult surgery. He sat with me and explained everything in detail and even took the time to go over my MRI with me. He never makes me feel rushed and makes sure all my questions are answered. He told me in Pre-op that they would take good care of me and I believed him. He and Dr Cook took very good care of me during surgery and Dr Eggart and his staff continue to take excellent care of me. I trust him completely. Dr Eggart is outstanding. I’m extremely pleased that he was my surgeon to correct the cause of my spinal stenosis which immediately eliminated the agony of stenosis. He explained in detail what the surgery and recovery entailed. Additionally, he scheduled a additional appointment with my wife prior to surgery to explain in detail the surgery and answereall her questions.

I had a large herniation between L4 and L5. Dr Eggart performed surgery on June 7th and he did amazing. From the time I woke up I had no more pain and never had to take any pain medication after the surgery. He was very pleasant, listened and answered all my questions. I have and would recommend Dr. Eggart to others and if I ever needed back surgery again he would be the Dr. I would choose.

He's a good doctor. He's actually done two of my surgeries and I have no complaints. Fully answered every question I had and I have confidence in him. If I ever need the same type surgeries again, he will be my first call.

I've had positive experiences with Dr. Eggart. He listens to me attentively and lets me ask questions. When he answers he explains everything in detail including showing me infographics and/or x-ray results. He did my spinal surgery and I feel it went well, I am in significantly less pain than before and can do a lot more than before surgery. I no longer have to use a cane unless I have an R/A flare up, which of course causes me joint and spine pain, but none of that is his fault. I will always have pain but I feel I have a good surgeon I can turn to if something else goes wrong with my spine.

Dr. Eggert and his entire staff have been fantastic to work with. From diagnosis through surgery I could not have had a better team to care for me. He explained my illness in language I could understand. He gave me the options for treatment and performed my surgery. Most highly recommend! The worst experience ever.he has done two cervical fusion that both failed. I have been in a neck brace for three years. I had a maylogram in December and had a appointment with him ten days later and he made the appointment with some rude,arragent,nurse practitioner. I haven't heard from him since. I am basically paralyzed and he hung me out to dry.he would be the last neuro surgeon I would recommend.

Staff pleasant. Wish Dr was. He didn't seem to want to be there. Constant interruptions. He couldn't get us out of there fast enough. Would not recommend

Incredibly RUDE receptionist! Laura is the most insensitive receptionist my family has ever encountered. She refused to schedule me an appointment and told me Dr. Eggart could not see me for my condition, and proceeded to read off someone else’s medical chart to me!! Unprofessional. Dr. Eggart is a brilliant neurosurgeon . He is compassionate, he listens to his patients, and carefully explains treatment options. I highly recommend him.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Eggart today and I for one truly appreciate how he got to the meat and left out the fluff. He covered literally just about every concern I had without even having to ask, he explained things thoroughly and showed my on my mri while he was explaining which was extremely helpful. I felt very confident during my visit that Dr. Eggart was not only experienced in my issues but also extremely competent. I love that he prefers to start small and didn’t rush to an invasive and unnecessary procedure. I left that appointment feeling so much more relaxed about my future, hopeful and that I’d been heard, believed and would be taken care of and that’s so important to me. He told me my pain was real and that he believed I was in it. His nurse Stephanie was also just a joy. So pleasant and helpful and compassionate and we could not have chosen a better caregiver for today’s appointment. She is awesome. 100% trust this doctor and if 5-10 years down the road I do need surgery he will absolutely be my choice. Caring, Compassionate, Trustworthy, talented. Dr Eggart has been such a blessing. I have had 2 surgeries done by him. Both very successful. He has also done a surgery for my wife. Another great success!! Would highly recommend

Worse doctor ever, no bedside manner. Arrogant and condescending.

I am so grateful to have such a gifted neurosurgeon in our area. It has been a very long road for me with pain. I am so thankful to have a university hospital level surgeon within an hour of my home. This is a brilliant, kind man who has explained and taken time with my husband and I and given me hope after 20 plus years of suffering and a failed back surgery. He has an excellent reputation in our region.

Great caring Doctor who shows a very caring attitude towards his patients. He truly cares about his patients wellbeing. A gifted surgeon who looks at all aspects of your surgery. Would recommend Dr.Eggart to all who need his services
