Hi, I was in hospital at Clear Lake and was in the ICU for days! I had several Doctors look and test me with no result, my body went into sepsis shock and not one Dr knew why!! After days different Doctors and saying it was my gallbladder that was causing the issue (which was not) on the 5th day, I kid you not Dr. Malika Kamana walked in with her asst. nurse and said I know what is wrong with you, I thought Dr. I have seen several Doctors who have said the same at this point I could hardly walk or even lift my head, and she said do you have a cat at home? I said yes we just rescued a kitten 3 weeks ago, she said ok has it scratched you? I said yes, turns out I had cat scratch fever, and the meds I was on that given to me was aggravating it but not one Dr knew it! She switched my meds out and that evening I could move, get up and a day later I was released to go home since all my vitals went back to normal! I will be forever grateful to Dr. Kamana as she was the ONLY one who knew!!

Dr. Kamana has been very involved in my recovery. During the six week IV infusions the clinic nurses were great, knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful explaining the upcoming procedures. Dr. Kamana remembers her patients, it is extraordinary because she is so busy. No hesitation going back to see her and her team. There is a wait sometimes and the offices need sprucing up, but the care received is top notch.

Dr. Kamana and her staff were fantastic, courteous and helpful at every visit! They went above and beyond the call of duty! My husband and I thank you allnfor the great services.

Dr Kamana answered all my questions about my antibiotic infusions. She is a good doctor.

Short waiting time. Pleasant friendly Doctor. Very knowledgeable. Good listener and responsive to my questions. Spent adequate amount of time with me. Very straight forward not evasive. No nonsense. Exceptional physician in my opinion.

I had a high fever for 8 days, and spent 3 days in the hospital. Many tests were run but all came back negative until Dr. Kamana was brought on to consult on my case. She ordered the tests needed to identify a rare condition, and put me on a treatment plan that quickly stopped the fevers and got me on a road to recovery.

Worst experience i have ever had. I was seen in the hospital by her never told anything. I was there for a week I saw here 2 times I still don't know what was wrong with me. I was given no discharge instructions no reports of tests or anything. Very arrogant

Dr. Kamana has been unhelpful in every way. Ordered a bunch of tests during my five-day hospital stay and rarely was available to discuss. Conversations were literally: ‘I don’t know.’ Results have become available through a lab portal, but since I won’t schedule a follow-up (why would I given lack of assistance?) her office says they don’t have my records and won’t discuss my results. Plus the people answering phones at her office are clueless. A doctor should, if not required, call when labs are abnormal. Dr. Kamana has been unhelpful in every way. She helped to get rid of my infection, so I could have my Gaul Bladder Surgery! Great Doctor!

Dr. Kamana is an excellent doctor. Very knowable of her specialty and is always putting the health of her patients first.

Dr. Kamana is a good doctor. Very caring doctor and makes sure everything is taken care of with your meds. She take sher time with you and does not make you rush.

I ended up with a septic bursa with infection in the bone and was referred to Dr. Kamana by a Methodist Orthopedic specialist. Dr. Kamana and her entire staff were absolutely great through 6 weeks of daily IV's and frequent Dr. visits. Very impressive.

It did not take to long For Dr Kamana to see me the office girl was very nice very helpful and Dr Kamana was good in explaining my results. She took very well care of me. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Kamana is hands down my favorite doctor. She cares about me as a person, she is always more than compassionate. She always makes sure that I’m not stressed out, resting, taking care of myself. She also makes sure scheduling is always right, and spends plenty of time with me.

I arrived at the Emergency Room and was diagnosed with Sepsis. I was treated with Antibiotics for the blood infection by Dr. Kamana and her Staff which also includes the Infusion Center located right next door to her office. I was very impressed by the professionalism and care by Dr. Kamana and all of her staff. The entire staff were very friendly and showed great concern for my well being and my treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Kamana and her Staff to anyone that is looking to get well.

I thought I had found a decent ID and Oncology clinic but boy was I mistaken! Everything was going along fine until they realized that I was having issues coming up with my $367.00 copay for my chemotherapy treatment that is when our dr/patient relationship went south! Up until that point they would return my calls almost immediately and do everything in their power to help until that point! They will not return my calls, my new Oncologist in Fort Worth has requested multiple times last week and this week for my records to be sent and they "can't find the request" or they are having fax machine issues! My suggestion is FIND ANOTHER CLINIC! They don't care about the patient and then they hold your medical records hostage! I thought I had found a decent ID and Oncology clinic but boy was I mistaken! Dr. Kamana's bedside manner is not pleasant. She doesn't seem to listen to what we had to say. The wait time for a scheduled appointment was over an hour and the office apparently did not have all of our records. She also recommended treatment that another one of our doctors advised against due to infection and blood clot.
