Dr Eisen just performed a Stapedectomy on Monday Feb 27,2023. I am extremely thankful to him. I'm still in recovery stage at home but now I can actually hear out of that ear!!! Dr Eisen took the time to go over the diagnosis clearly and treatment options I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident in my receiving expert medical care. Staff was great, too. Walked away, very impressed w. the overall experience. HIGHLY recommend. I am so happy I chose to go through with the surgery.

Dr Eisen is an excellent surgeon! Surgery went well with no complications to date! Explanation about the surgery along with do’s and don’ts for after the surgery were clear and put in lay person terms. I read all the reviews before the surgery, and I must say some of them were harsh. The day of my surgery, Dr. Eisen couldn’t have been more compassionate. I would definitely recommend him based on his excellence as a surgeon, his ability to communicate in ways I could understand, and because of his. compassion for his very nervous patient!

After 5 yrs + of 27/7 vertigo with episodes of non stop vomiting every couple of months, I finally got a diagnosis from Dr. Eisen as having Vestibular Migraines without headache. Having never heard of this, I had no idea how to proceed, how to function as it has halted every aspect of my life for years. Until this point I had never seen Dr. Eisen, only his staff. In our first meeting (in a 10 minute video results appointment) he gave me no clear path forward, only one idea as to how I might handle extreme episodes. A week later I called with questions, at this point he became extremely rude and dismissive. Only after his total hissy-fit did he give me a number for a physical therapist and proceeded to tell me that he did not want to hear from me again for at least 3 months. He will not be hearing from me again.

As someone who has hearing loss that is getting progressively worse, I’m so thankful that I found Dr. Eisen. He was the first physician who actually explained what my condition is and spent time informing me of my treatment and management options. Practical and direct. Can’t recommend him enough.

The greatest doctors ever! I was lucky to get Dr Eisen and he is hands down the best!!! Nothing but great things to say. The surgery went smooth and just an all around awesome place. If you have an ear issue this is the only place I recommend. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, A++

Dr. Eisen was great! Listened to my issues and found the solution. Don’t let the ENT’s tell you No Cure! Call Dr. Eisen and let him be the judge! Can’t say enough Good about him.

My sister once advised me “Don’t trust a PhD until he proves he’s not an idiot.“ This doctor is knowledgeable, patient, and presents information in a straightforward and factual manner. I never felt spoken down too. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking to schedule an appointment for an urgent/important situation, do not consider this place whatsoever. weeks upon weeks long waiting times, along with a head doctor that wants to claim nothing is wrong with you and rather pass you onto someone else. would not recommend, place needs to change.

Smart, personable and straight forward. Listened to my concerns and answered questions. I felt part of the process and treatment plan. I was comfortable sharing information with Dr Eisen I had not shared with other health care providers Felt reassured and very confident in this physicians knowledge I highly recommend Dr Eisen, his audiologist and office staff

Dr Eisen was amazing, he is knowledgeable but also listens to you and takes the necessary time to provide the best care. I highly recommend him.

I came to Dr. Eisen after having a complication from a surgery with a different doctor. His staff got me in right away and everyone in the office was extremely helpful, pleasant, and kind. Dr. Eisen worked with me to come up with a treatment plan and worked dilleginently with me, my surgeon, and the audiologist to help me make a near full recovery. I've been a patient of his for yrs I need to have ear tubes put in frequently to hear & drain fluid I've had so many put in by him I've lost count I still get anxious before the procedure but he's really calm and professional & its over before I know it I wouldn't trust any other Dr with my ears He's the best & I'd highly recommend him to anyone

My pre-appt paperwork was completed online and in it I stated my reason for the visit was chronic tinnitus from Meniere's disease and to have my hearing aid tune in better. I read that the office has done well with tinnitus. After more than three hours of tests including an extensive visit to the Dizzy Clinic determined that I "do in fact, probably have Meniere's in my left ear", according to Dr. Eisen. He went on to explain the varying symptoms Meniere's may give me but that he could do nothing for the tinnitus. And the hearing aid? They don't do that but can refer me elsewhere. Bottom line, with good insurance I was left to pay over $900. I believe the appt should have be canceled as soon as anyone read my reason for the visit. The office manager stated that the doctor needed to make his own diagnosis of Meniere's before any treatment despite my records of tests which include an MRI of my brain. Lost my argument and have paid them$25mos for the last three years.

Dr Eisen took care of me for my dizziness. He was thorough and compassionate. He knows his stuff and goes all out to make sure your issues are addressed. I would highly recommend him.

Everyone in the office was friendly and polite. The secretary is the kindest secretary I’ve ever met in a Dr.’s office (a rare gem, so thank you). Emily and Kasey were both so kind and listened to all my concerns. And Dr. Eisen was caring and explained everything kindly. I hope I don’t have to go back (because who wants to be sick?), but if I did, I know I’ll be in great hands. I was hesitant because of the mixed reviews here which is why I decided to write this. Thank up for making my appointment so pleasant. I wholeheartedly recommend!

I would highly recommend Dr. Marc Eisen. He is an amazing Doctor. I was diagnosed with Vertigo and for five (5) years, I could not do anything, go anywhere, drive my car, attend family functions, etc. Most of the time I was either laying flat in bed or on the couch, dizzy, sick to my stomach and just miserable. Finally one of our friends, who also had Vertigo, told me about Dr. Eisen and how he had helped him. I called, made an appointment, went through all the testing and was told by Dr. Eisen that he wanted to try Physical Therapy on my Vertigo. After three (3) sessions, it was amazing and I could drive my car, after five (5) years of not driving anywhere, to the rest of my appointments and have been driving, shopping, etc. ever since. Dr. Eisen gave me back my life!!! All the other Doctors I went to could not help me, told me to "live with it". I highly recommend Dr. Eisen!!! He is my hero!!! I am so grateful to him for giving me my life back!!!

Best Ear doctor out there, he has helped me with my left ear since 2012.

I'm another patient who had crippling vertigo, resolved by Dr. Eisen. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any hearing or balance issues.

Great surgeon

I'm so thankful for finally finding this group. Thanks to him and his brilliant staff I am finally getting the treatment I need. Almost 2 months ago I was misdiagnosed and given medication that made me sicker only to be told there is nothing more I can do for you. I found Dr Eisen's number and called and got an appointment for the next day. Everyone in his office was great, his audiologist was great and his therapist was my savior. I had my first therapy session with the therapist and finally have hope that I'm on my way to a recovery. I would highly recommend his group to anyone suffering from Vertigo and imbalance issues.

This office is very thorough and has the newest equipment for testing, etc. Dr. Eisen was very kind and gave me many choices for treatment and explained them all very well.

My visit is 5 stars DR Eisen He did both of my Cochlear implants. 2017 and in 2018 we have a few hurdles after surgery. But to be expected. I can work full time and answer phones. I work with patients every day. Do I recommend him yes I do. Go see him right away. He fixed my ears. I even went to my first concert. So happy ...Thanks Doc..

Dr Eisen was awesome. He really listened and made sure I understood my options. Wasnt in a rush to bandaid my hearing problem.

It is a nice office but I'm eager to see his new office that will be opened soon in Farmington. Dr. Eisen is kind and compassionate and excellent at what he does. I feel very confident that I am getting the best care possible. I am grateful to have my ENT recommend him to me and now would highly recommend him myself.

I saw Dr. Eisen today for the first time. It was an emergency type appointment & he was extremely nice to accommodate me. All was fine until I had problems. Post-op monitoring was inconsistent, even non-existent, and it took much effort & time to finally get proper testing to document my post-op condition, which showed the surgery failed and more problems were introduced. I knew the risks. What I did not expect was the lack of follow-through and appropriate monitoring of my condition after surgery. Eisen’s confident, yet erroneous declarations about the surgical success prohibited other doctors from helping me. Now, 9 months later I am scrambling to obtain an accurate assessment and solutions for my new impairments.

Dr Eisen has helped me deal with my severe motion sickness. He's personable and easy to talk to about my issues when other doctors have played down the impact it has on my life.

My husband and I found Dr.Eisen personable,thorough and explained everything in a way we could understand. We highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with an ongoing problem. My father, 92, is deaf in one ear and has 20% hearing in the other due to Menierres disease and a colostotoma. He developed an ear infection with a substance oozing from his ear and nasty smell. The Dr.'s office could only come up with an appointment 2 weeks out. I talked to Eisen's assistant, described the problem . She said " I only sounds like an infection there are no appointments available". I asked if she was willing to bet his hearing. She says "well with my limited knowledge yes".

My ears require frequent tubes to be inserted so that I can hear. Dr Eisen has done this procedure on me more than a few times over the years Each visit he has been friendly, professional and most importantly has done a great job putting those tubes in my ears! I would highly recommend him

He didn't warn me I may get more tinnitus if I get cochlear implant. Now I got 3 more loud tinnitus. Late last Fall, I called to ask for help with tinnitus. He referred me to UCONN hearing & speech center. I have not heard from them. I went to see my audiologist for mapping & complain of tinnitus. When it was loud I can't turn up vol to hear. I called his office & asked if he referred yet. He said I can't refer you to tinnitus because you have CI. He faxed to my audio, she never told me.

think He is a very good doctor he was recommended to me by another ENT MD when I needed to have a surgery and Dr Eisen did my cochlear surgery and I am very pleased would recommend him highly

Dr. Marc Eisen is an exceptional doctor and person. He agreed to do an ear surgery that had not been done before - because I was desperate. Outcome is 100% +. He spent a great deal of time with me on every visit - explain what could happen -that didn't. His skill as a surgeon is amazing. His caring and compassion is so welcoming. I'm a 79 year old nurse who is still working so I've seen a lot of medical care delivered - and Dr. Eisen is outstanding.

I've had to have 2 brain surgeries in the last year and with both Dr. Eisen had to do surgery on my ears. I've been seeing him for the last year as my ENT and have no doubt that he is very knowledgeable and is a good Dr. I'm very surprised to see the reviews I'm seeing because he's always taken the time to explain everything to me and never have I waited more than 15 minutes to see him. I've had ear problems my entire life and have seen many ENT and for once I've found one that I can truly trust

My mom had a horrible experience with this doctor. She had horrible pain and noise in her ear for several months. She was not sleeping and the pain level was at a 8-9 at night. He told her rather rudely that there was nothing he could do for her. He suggested that the pain was "in her head" and told her to see a Psychiatrist. Than he opened the door to hurry her out. A doctor is suppose to help their patients however this was not the case with him. I am glad that she is no longer going there.

Went to see Dr Eisen after having a bad experience with a different ENT. The audiologist who did my testing was amazing, however Dr Eisen looked at her report and said it ''seemed'' I had something called vestibular migraine. Did not physically examine me at all. Offered a few suggestions but seemed very aloof and unconcerned with my symptoms and quality of life. Met with him for about five minutes and received a bill for over $ 600. Needless to say I'm onto my third ENT in a few weeks.

He earned the crummy amount of stars he got. Fellow suffers of mystery ear and throat pain. Go see a pain specialist who's also a Neurologist if you can find one. After a brain MRI, I have severe neuralgia in a major nerve. Sent me to another ENT to doublecheck and now the pain specialist/Neurologist is trying different medications to reduce pain and swelling. Dr. Eisen looked in my ear and hurt like crazy. he said "I can't believe that hurts". Got 6 minutes of his precious time and a big bill.

I wear hearing aids . when one ear's hearing diminishes noticeably in a day its reason to have concern and get it checked. it's what happened to me and what I did. naturally I went to someone my wife/audiologist knows by respected reputation. I found Dr Eisen a v. good listener. sitting, wanting to hear what I had to say about why I was there. logical elimination of serious concerns. solid advice w/ follow up offer. I was referred to Dr. Eisen following an automobile accident . I had ongoing issues with vertigo and was taking Meclizine for many months. Dr. Eisen put me on the fast track to recovery. He explained my options and made me feel confident that my issues could (at least be controlled) Dr. Eisen was compassionate, professional, extremely knowledgeable and spent as much time with me as needed to understand what was going on with my vertigo. Five star professional provider. Highly Recommend.

I saw him in regards to my profound hearing loss. I agreed to having Cochlear Implant, for as long as it was MRI safe (due to also having MS). They found me MED EL brand to be safe for MRI. He did a wonderful job on the Surgery (didn't even have to shave my hair; just a clean cut behind the ear....perfectly done). Was in/out within 4 hours. My recovery went well. Saw him a week later. He said it looks good, and that I was ready for CI hook up within next 2-3 wks. Very pleasant w/TLC!

I felt very comfortable and relieved after my appointment with Dr. Eisen. I was diagnosed with a acoustic neuroma by another physician and referred to his office. His office scheduled me in right away and I didn't have to wait long. He answered all my questions and was on the same page as I was. He joked which made me feel more comfortable.

Dr. Eisen was very good at explaining the diagnosis to me. He and his staff were friendly yet professional. I would def. go back and would recommend him to others.

Don't ever go see this doctor. I waited over 2 hours to see him. By the time he got to me, he told me he was behind and wanted me to hurry up as to why I was there. He was rude, in a hurry, no bedside manner, and never laid a finger on me. Just went over the results and said I was fine. The only reason why I saw him was that he was only a week wait for a new patient. Now I see why. Going to see another doctor that has a 5 week wait and suffer. Letting my insurance company know.

Amazingly patient and understood my concerns. Some clarity may have been slightly more beneficial prior to my surgical date but he was otherwise very knowledgable and well- spoken. My referral made a wise choice helping me get to Dr. Eisen.

Does not have a good patient 'bedside manner', is not specific and talks over your head. Seems aloof. He may be talented but his post operative level of care is poor and simplistic with no follow up. The Hartford surgical facility that he practices in is second rate. I will not return to his care.

Negative experience. Waited over an hour. Staff kept telling me I was next but some guy walked in and staff said Dr.would be able to see him without appointment. Waited in room while he walks right by to see the other guy I went to talk to staff and they said I could talk to the office manager if I wanted to. Must be a frequent occurrence. After all that I saw Dr for 5 min. Supposed to be very knowledgeable and capable guy but make sure you have time and patience.

WORSE DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO! My ears have been clogged for months !!!! and I took a hearing test, due to me doing relatively good, the doctor decided that no more further examination will be done. Just told me plain out that he could not do anything else or prescribe me with anything. He just looked into my ears, that's it! No more further exam of my throat, nose, inside my ears past the ear drum NOTHING! He said due to the tests nothing else is needed. HE IS THE BIGGEST JOKE EVER.

He seemed intent on getting in & out quickly. Did not explore possible causes of my symptoms nor ask related questions that may be contributing to these symptoms. Though visit was ear related, Did not even look down my throat or nose.
