Awful experience. I showed up on time for my mom's appointment, only to find out that they have cancelled the appointment after I have confirmed via email, 24 hours before, as it was indicated on the email. Terrible service.

Dr. Marco Lopez has been my opthamologist for over 10 years. I was given an appointment with his Nurse Practitioner without being informed and I was not impressed with her knowledge beside her rudeness. I asked his office if for my next visit I can get an appointment with Dr. Lopez and was informed that it wasn't possible because he only saw cataract patients. I told them that I wasn't happy with the Nurse Practitioner and they said that nothing can be done. I told them that I really wanted to see Dr. Lopez. The receptionist spoke with someone and was told that if I didn't like it, I can leave. Dr. Lopez, you lost a loyal patient with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO because your staff simply didn't care. I can't begin to comment on the experience, but it was awful. I guess you really do get what you pay for. The doctor was very pushy, and very direct, but his nurse, I think they said her name was Nurse Torres, was the worse ever. I came with my husband and my grandma, and she completely disregarded my grandma and me, and began having a conversation with my husband, who was really turned off by her. He did not find her attractive at all. He ended up leaving to go wait in the car. As if that wasn't bad enough, she seemed to have an odd relationship with Dr. Lopez, all very strange. We just sat through the visit, and afterwards, decided to never come back, so we ended up going to see a much more renowned doctor. That place seems like a big soap opera!!! Front desk receptionist is the only reason I gave a star, 3hr wait, horrible service, overbooked and Dr Lopez is very rude. Took my 87yr old mother for an exam I explained to the Dr my mom cannot hear well or even understand what he was asking and he can direct questions to me in which he was bothered and continued to speak louder to my mother forcing her to answer him and even after I explained a second time and he continued to ignore me. My mom was very nervous as we left and asked me why he was yelling at her and she didn't understand his actions. Both my wife and I are patients of Dr. Lopez, and he has performed very successful surgery on both my eyes. In my opinion he deserves more than the maximum 5 stars. He is extremely good and very courteous, as are his staff.

Gave me an eye exam, very knowledgeable about my eyes, gave me prescription for my eye aches. Great staff, very helpful. Will continue to see him as my preferred eye doctor.

1st visit: Impressed about the Dr's. knowledge. 2nd visit: I was first examined by a female assistant, whose attitude rubbed me the wrong way. 3rd visit, I cancelled: FORTUNATELY, I had the idea of calling his office on Western Ave. to make an inquiry.
