No nonsense and scary smart. Just exactly what I needed to deal with my husband's complex illness. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Very nice and professional. very proactive

Dr. Lamothe came into my husbands room at the hospital and quarreled with his internal medicine provider and open accused the GI specialist of delivering the wrong medicine. All of this happened with the patient hearing every angry and accusative word. She also painted the worst case senario for the outcome of his disease - c diff - I cannot imagine anyone thinking that she is a good doctor. She caused a very negative scene and was very unprofessional.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lamothe. Before seeing her, I had seen several docs who could not find the source of my recurring illness. Based on prior tests, she immediately knew what the problem was and successfully resolved it. Furthermore, she has a caring, friendly temperment that can sometimes be hard to find in a physician. I hope I never need to see an infectious disease doc again, but if I do, I'm happy to know to a very good one. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lamothe. Quite possibly the most knowledgeable, caring physician in the Memphis-Metro area. She correctly diagnosed the source of my problem during her first visit with me at the hospital. I went home 2 days later.This was during my third week-long stay of multiple doctors, tests and i.v. drugs. I have been to her office since that time as well, and I do believe I can talk to her about anything health related and she will always be candid with me. 5 stars don't say enough. Dr. Lamothe, is a REAL Dr.. The kind who still cares,who listens and will go to any length necessary in healing illness. I'm grateful for her taking care of my Gay Male Friends, without prodigious, only love. Thanks Doc, for saving the lives that you have, and more comfort for others.

She is so sweet and kind. She listens very closely and she is very detailed. I was so afraid at first but she came in with a warm and king spirit. She is really the best doctor I’ve ever had at Saint Francis.

I wish I could give her 10 stars! She has taken such good care of my mom. She is always available and she really cares about her patients. Thank you Dr. Lamothe for being so kind.

Dr.Lamothe was heaven sent, she's an excellent doctor, she truly cares for you. My family loves her, especially my mom. Dr.Lamothe knows her stuff, I have to say it this way.

Dr. Lamothe is very hands on. She is a good listener, takes her time and is very thorough. One of the better ID docs in town.

She has a wonderful bedside manner. Very concerned about my condition. She did extensive resource to resurgence , trying the right antibiotics for my condition.

Friend under her care for years. So attentive, caring, thorough. Could not have asked for a better healer with such knowledge and skill.

Do not go to Dr. Lamothe if you are dealing with recurrent c diff. She brought confusion to the diagnosis by ordering a premature stool test that came back negative. A week later I had the worst episode of c diff I'd had since I began dealing with it 3 months prior. Her concern for my tinnitus, a side effect of vancomycin, overshadowed the c diff. As a result she created a crisis that was upsetting. I took the initiative to get an FMT at the Univ. of Chicago Med Ct. that resolved the c diff.
