I loved Dr. Maria Acosta, she was great. I didn’t care for the other lady to be in the room with us, didn’t get her name but I felt like everything I said she had something to counteract with instead of just listening. Dr. Acosta would ask me a question and before I could even give my full answer the other lady was asking me a question about the answer that I was in the process of giving. I feel like the other lady didn’t trust anything I said and even asked me to explain proof to her at one point. It would’ve been a 5 star experience had the other lady not been in the room with us. She may be spectating or whatever so if she is still trying to learn I understand but maybe she should listen to the patients full response before cutting them off. And she should try to look as if I am not just wasting her time being there. Dr. Acosta is so sweet and actually listened to my concerns, I look forward to seeing her again. Very nice and professional.

This was my first visit with Dr. Acosta, who came highly recommended. I can see why. She’s very kind and seems very thorough, I got the impression that she truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Acosta is a very caring and thorough physician. She treats everyone with respect and dignity. Her staff is courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Acosta and her staff.

Best Doctor EVER!

Regular patient for over 10 years

She is a caring doctor and does not treat her patients like dollar signs.

Dr Acosta has been my primary care doctor for many years. I thoroughly trust her & her staff. They are the ultimate professionals. If I had a choice of any Dr on the planet, I would still choose her. She’s not just a good Dr, she’s a good listener, and as her patient, I value that.

Dr. Acosta is extremely professional, and she takes time to listen to me, and explain my present medical conditions. She’s always seeking alternative treatments to improve your quality of life. I am completely satisfied with Dr. Acosta and all the support staff.

Dr. Acosta has been my physician now for many years. She is always cheerful, concerned, and understanding. She has become a very special in my life by helping me make it through the death of my parents, sister, brother, and other family members within the last ten years. She shows concern for emotional Upsets as well as the physical problems we all have as we are growing older. Thank you, Dr. Maria Acosta, for your Christian viewpoint discussions and positive thoughts. You are one in a million and I am thankful to have you as my doctor and friend. Office runs smoothly and efficiently. Doctor and staff are helpful and friendly.

The most important issue to me is trust. I trust Dr. A and feel she takes good care of me. She is high on my list of Dr.'s that have treated me since my liver transplant in 2001.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother who would never have written a poor review but I am appalled by the care she received. I have been in healthcare for over 10 years and work for a large hospital group locally. Dr. Acosta and her team were over an hour late with little to no communication to patients explaining why. When she was finally brought back, the staff couldn't even find her room. They were asking patients and staff if they were her, calling her name in the hallway. My mother had to open to door and say, I am the person you are looking for. Once in the room, the doctor and nurse knew very little as to why she was there and they rushed her through a less than 5 minute visit. Dr. Acosta and the nurse cut her off several times, made a less then funny joke about her weight and when my mother asked why the weight gain? Dr. Acosta looked at her and said, "How old are you?" My mom answered and the doctor responded "Wow, you look good for your age, imagine how much better you would look if you lost weight." This is inappropriate and appaling. My mother was in tears and the provider did not seem to have any empathy nor did she care. She was far to concerned about explaining to my mother how they used to be a Rural Health Clinic and why they see patients every 6 months and do not schedule follow ups or call patients with their lab or test results. Needless to say, my mother will not be returning. I hope that someone at HCA finds this and is able to correct the lack of customer service and professionalism in this office. I have been seeing dr. Acosta for 7yrs. I got cancer and she just totally stopped helping me taking away my major scripts I have been taking for 10yrs. Her bedside manor is TERRIBLE with an appoint ment she is only in the room 3 minutes at best !!refuses to give refills even my pharmicists hates dealing with her office staff is just plain out MEAN!!!!!! All in all the doctor and staff are the worst I have ever had !! I definitely do NOT recomend this doctor or her office ! I have been seeing dr. Acosta for 7yrs.
