Only giving 5 because I cant give 6. I showed up for an appointment 2 weeks from the actual date and the worked me in without issue. I am a naturally inquisitive person, and they even dealt with me asking about every instrument and process. The staff are professional and courteous. The doctor/intern that performed my vision exam was excellent and very accurate. There was virtually no change from his evaluation to the doctor’s that oversaw the exam. He has a bright future. I really look forward to my visits with Dr Contaldi. He is the best I’ve ever dealt with in 40 years of wearing glasses and going through exam process. The staff are professional and courteous. I have been coming here for 15 years or more and have always been treated very kindly and the staff and the doctors have always been very professional. I would recommend highly.

Love Love Love this Visioncenter! Great people & very patient! I have been coming here for the longest time and absolutely love going here for my prescriptions. Dr. Patel has helped me get contacts before, and was very patient with the whole contacts process since contacts were new to me. This time I only needed to recheck/redo my prescription so I could order new glasses again. I eventually had to give up on contacts though because they always took too much time to manage. Their rooms are decorated in themes which makes it more visually appealing; ironic since they're a vision place. This visit I had a different doctor who was also very kind; I wish I remembered his name, but he did a really great job getting my new prescription proven by Dr. Patel quickly re-examining/re-checking my eyes. Dr. Contaldi is also very kind and shows great concern for his patients which I absolutely love!! The staff here is always kind and patient, which I love about them. From the moment I called from the parking lot to let them know I had arrived to when I checked out after my appointment, the staff went above and beyond to provide exceptional service while maintaining strict safety protocols including social distancing, facial coverings, and disinfecting each room after use. The room used for my exam actually had a sign on the seat to indicate the room had been sanitized and the arms of the chair we’re still slightly damp with disinfectant! Not only did I feel safe and that the staff took my safety seriously, I received exceptional care and some great advice from Doctor Lien regarding options for work specific prescription glasses. She went above and beyond to review the results of my exam and answer all my questions with an upbeat and very pleasant demeanor. Everyone is super friendly and professional! Place is clean and sanitized. I have never had such an extensive eye exam! They go out of their way to make sure you have healthy eyes are are not just pushing you thru like an assembly line. This Will most definitely be my new home for eye care!

At first I thought I had a nice thing going. Then I went to a new optometrist who told me the "monthlies" I was ordering were actually biweekly. The doc at southwest also said he saw something in my eye that worried him. He said he would follow up in six months and never did. The new optometrist I saw today said she sees what he saw but she also saw pigmentation in the area which is an indication that has been there for quite a while and is more than likely not a problem. I spent more time with the staff at my new optometrists than I ever did at southwest. I even called about the oasys I had been getting and they showed I had vitamin everytime, even though my box clearly says oaysys on it. At first I thought I had a nice thing going. My experience here started out well, however, my last visits were terrible. The doctor wrote me the wrong prescription for my contact lens and they made the biggest deal out of something with my optic nerve and ran test after test because I have great insurance. After going to a new optometrist, I would NEVER recommend this.

Dr Patel and the staff are great. They are open early which is a plus for making appointments before you get your day going. They are very thorough in what your insurance covers and what you will have to pay. There's no hidden fees you know exactly what you'll be paying for everything.

Everybody is so nice! Super cute exam rooms. The appointment was for my daughter and they explained everything to us and made her feel so comfortable. It didn’t take forever. Only thing is their selection on glasses for kiddos isn’t great.

We got two pairs of eye glasses here and both broke within two weeks, the second pair just a spring was defective and they suggested I buy a new pair. Smh they don't garantee their products, and the front desk girl looked annoyed by my kiddos there smh. Just because it's from Medicaid don't mean we are dirty or poor. But the state dud pay for them and you should still treat us as paying customers. Best place to take your kiddos!! The ladies at the front desk or amazing and super helpful! My five year old has autism and we were quite nervous for this doctor's appointment but they made it so easy! Thank y'all for being so kind and patient with my daughter!

Knowledgeable and efficient without compromise to being friendly and personable. I am a longtime patient and would not want to go anywhere else. Dr C listens and responds to my eye care needs while providing care in a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.

They are so nice and it's very easy.

Southwest Vision Center is a premium first class operation. The emphasis is on conducting an extensive examination. Special efforts are taken by the staff and Dr. Contaldi to give a person a great experience and it truly is. They are personable, knowledgeable and more than accommodating!

Dr. Patel is amazing! So kind, friendly and fun. He was excellent with my kids and also kept me informed. Front desk staff was great as well and got us in for an appointment promptly!

❤️❤️❤️ First visited Southwest Visiin Center with a corneal abrasion last year. Dr.Pattell was thorough, helpful and precise. Today I went for an annual checkup! I absolutely think he's terrific at explaining my condition and offering recommendations. He's made a believer out of me! He'll do the best for all of his patients!

Saw Dr. Patel twice this week, for two different family members. He was patient, kind, thoroughly explained his findings and listened carefully to my child, not dismissing comments merely because they were coming from a youth. Office had no scented air fresheners, candles or sprays, even the restroom! For those with multiple chemical sensitivity, this means a lot! Service from staff was friendly and expedient. Dr. Contaldi spent ample time with me on my first visit to an eye doctor in a very long time! He answered all of my questions and was very kind and patient.

Used to very much enjoy getting my vision needs taken care of at this N. Richland Hills office but as of today, they have lost a customer. The latter part of last year I visited this office due to a problem with my right eye. Was given some drops and sent on my way and told if no improvement to come back. Another co-pay, more drops and no improvement. Trip back to this office for a third time, another co-pay, same drops, sent on my way. After $120 in co-pays I went to another eye doctor (yet another co-pay) who told me within 5 mins I have a corneal abrasion! Now this week I needed a small repair/adjustment on my glasses. I vowed I would not return but - was on my way home and an employee had a small screw replaced and was told I would have to return the next day when Gina was working as she was the only one who could make a spring adjustment that was still needed. Next day, hustled to get to the office from Irving before closing to see Gina. Was told she had left early for the day!! Called first thing this morning to make sure she would be there if I again hustled through rush hour traffic to make it there before closing. Was told she was not in again today and would be there during the Friday morning hours which would require me to take off work, etc..... Strike three, four and five. I will never return to this office as they have cost me far too much time and money and now jumping through hoops to have simple repair done to my glasses. How you can only have one person within an office to make an eyeglass adjustment is beyond me! You have lost my business and I will recommend others to go elsewhere.... We've been going here for a few years now and have to change providers because they no longer offer Saturday or late weekday hours. I have a home day care and my hours are 6:45 am to 5:45 pm so I just can't work with this. Too bad because we really liked it here.

Dr. C and his staff are wonderful. He is great ad des what it takes to get your vision corrected even with difficult prescriptions like mine. Dr. C shows amazing care for all of his patients no matter what age. We have family members that use him ranging from 10-85. You will be glad you chose him for your vision needs.

went here just to get my eye prescription in october and didn't have my glasses made here (thank god) but after I wore the new glasses I got elsewhere I noticed headache and blurred vision in my right eye. I didn't think it was the glasses so I went back here to get a second opinion on the prescription, it was slightly different! At least they didn't charge me to get my eyes rechecked. But after I got the new glasses fixed for the new prescription, I still didn't think they were right and would see double vision sometimes. Frustrated, I went to another another eye doc at the nearby mall and got better service and much more attention from the doc and staff compared to this place. And most importantly, the prescription at the other place was the right one. I'm sorry, but I can't give this place my recommendation. Twice my prescription was wrong? That's unacceptable. The prescription is 99% the only reason why anyone goes to the eye doc and not getting that right makes me wonder how they're in business. Maybe they use old equipment, I dont know, but I would like anyone to think twice about going here. Note: I did not get service from Dr. Contaldi. Both times I went there was a fill-in eye doctor.
