Very rude, condescending, did not answer my questions. Just terrible. I would not trust my health to this doctor nor would I ever go to him again

First of all, the doctor was 90 minutes late for my procedure. I almost left his office while waiting so long, and in highlight I wish to goodness that I had. Dr. Brandt performed a very invasive procedure, which has now left me with damage to my prostate. I should have sought out a consult with another doctor BEFORE I allowed Dr. Brandt to perform such an invasive procedure. Afterwards, he called me the following week and said he needs to perform another biopsy, as the results of my test were inconclusive. Thank goodness I went to another doctor. This doctor questioned why Dr. Brandt did the biopsy in the first place. Second doctor suggested I should have been referred for an MRI first, and only after this should a biopsy been ordered, if so indicated by the less invasive MRI procedure. I feel that Dr. Brandt needlessly subjected me to a highly invasive procedure, and sadly, the complication caused from this procedure will impact me now and in the future.

Awful experience. I’ve never had a doctor make me cry and feel so vulnerable. Insulting. Rude. Made me feel like a fool for coming in. I’d say misogynistic. Arrogant. And Mr. Big Pants totally missed something important and it’s WHY I was there. I had ulcers near my urethra. Very painful. But he was too busy insulting me and making poor attempts at wit to cover his strong negative come-on, that he totally missed that. Oopsy! Insurance gets billed for this crap, folks! On a refural from my internist I made an appointment to see Dr. Brandt in Niles. The preappointment questionnaire took 20 minutes to complete. It seemed like over 100 questions. I arrived early and was checked in a room. The nurse asked me a few questions and told me the doctor could be in shortly. I waited 40 minutes sitting on the table for the doctor. The doctor never came nor did anyone have the courtesy to update me on my appointment. I ended up leaving and never saw the doctor. Basically a waste of time. Dr. Brandt is very knowledgeable and helpful, I’m under his care for over five years and I can’t think of better doctor. He always takes time to answer all my questions and even crack a joke from time to time. Yes, you may have to wait few minutes pass your appointment, but that’s because he will never put “hard break” on anyone’s visit for as long as your questions are constructive and related to your case. I have found Dr. Brandt to be entirely professional. He is not a therapist and expectations for same are unrealistic. His staff always answered questions thoroughly and with outstanding knowledge of my profile. If either Dr. Brandt or his staff were unable to answer at the time, I was contacted in a timely fashion. If you want to see someone who has 25 years of experience and knows his craft, make an appointment. If you want to talk for hours and hours, find a specialist who has less experience and more time. As an older woman who has lots of experience sadly in his area of expertise, I can assure you that you will be treated with respect, guidance and clinical know-how.

If I could give him less than 1 I will, this doctor without even seen my son, gave a diagnostic . My son wanted a second opinion, this person , so call doctor, call me and told that because he talked to his friend (doctor #1) he diagnost will be the same. I really upset of the poor and unprofessional service of this Mark Brandt. When a patient looks for a second opinion a doctor should be able to give to them. Professional, courteous, solved my problem. What else does a patient want or need! Have recommended him to others.

I would not recommend going to visit dr.brandt. He is unprofessional, unsympathetic, and overall unhelpful. I would try getting a recommendation for a different physician. He will get you no where and complain he isn’t getting paid for it.

I received excellent care from Dr. Brandt and staff. He eased my worries and I credit him with saving my life.

Great doctor! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Answered all my questions. Guided me through the procedure. Won't give up wants to get to the bottom of what is going on. Will recommend and already recommended him to few people!

I’ve never experienced such a useless, insulting, demeaning doctor visit in my life. Ugh. Typical older privileged male who completely disregards women’s feelings.

Terrible. The result of his mistreatment and attentiveness has left me suffering for over 2 years. Please beware of this doctor. He didn't answer my questions or consider my symptoms seriously after months of appointments.

Dr. Brand is very professional and knowledgeable, he always takes time to listen and answer any questions I have. I’m under his care for almost three years and I feel great. I will recommend Dr. Brandt to family and friends in a heartbeat

Always helpful front office staff. Dr. Brandt is a great Dr. He listens to you. Whatever your concerns are, he will put you at ease. Dr. Brandt always has great recommendations to help you.
