Dr. Mark R Chambers

I seen Dr. Chambers he gave me excellent care

I had a couple of emergencies in the last year and Dr. Chambers was the attending physician and he performed his duties with excellence and grace. I do know that Dr. Chambers volunteers his services at a not for profit ministry call Siloam Clinic where the undeserved and uninsured are afforded health care...speaks well of the man in my opinion.

I'm a caregiver for an 80-year-old man (Tommy F) who was a patient of Dr. Lee Tucker for many years. Upon his retirement Dr. Tucker's group transferred Tommy to Dr. Chambers. At our first visit Dr. Chambers for a yearly physical the doctor was late and when he began his examination he seemed more interested in speeding through it and even commented that he had spent more time then he was approved by the insurance. As it was obvious that he was only interested in ending the physical I mentioned lab tests which are generally done one yearly physicals. He had obviously forgotten about them During the examination he decided to refer Tommy to a Podiatrist. We set the appointment for 6 weeks from the physical and on the day of the appointment I called to make sure of the time and location and we were told that, even after repeated requests from the Podiatrist, Dr. Chambers had not sent the necessary referral material to them. We had to cancel the appointment and Tommy goes untreated for another month. We have made an appointment with another physician in another group and called to make arrangements to have the records shipped over to that doctor. A week and a half later we get a call that I would have to come there and sign to have this completed, they failed to tell me this when they told me they would do it when I first called. I have spent several hours on the phone, on fold and can't get through to this guy. I'm not sure what's going on here but we went from excellent service with Dr. Tucker to terrible service with this guy. Dr. Chambers is friendly, inquisitive and listens. Thorough and gentle and treated me with respect. I would recommend him to anyone.
