Dr. Mark Desmond

I had a tele visit for my 12 year old son. My son was recovering from foot surgery and transitioning into boot. Dr. Desmond was patient in listening to my sons questions and helping to calm him. He gave my son some great ideas to start healing process and my son left appointment upbeat.

I've been treating with Dr Desmond since the beginning of the year for knee problems. I feel that he is excellent. He is detail oriented and takes his time to focus on you and the issues you are dealing with. Always explains his diagnosis and treatment options. Highly recommended.

I had TKR 6 weeks ago and surgery well very well. Dr. Desmond made me feel relaxed and answered all my questions. I have had 2 follow up visits and Dr. Desmond again took his time and listened. I would highly recommend Dr. Desmond. The entire staff was super as well.

I had my first visit with Dr. Desmond and was very pleased. The staff was very friendly. Dr. Desmond was very nice. He explained everything so that I could understand and is taking care of my knee problems. I would definitely recommend Dr. Desmond. He was straight to the point without being arrogant like some of my past experiences with doctors.

I have been seeing Dr. Desmond for quite a few years now. Always informative, and attentive to my questions, and condition.

He took his time and made me at ease.

I was very disappointed with Dr Desmond,I went in for acute pain in my right hand haven had 2 injections prior he ordered no tests or xrays and did nothing at all to help me. His condescending attitude was disgusting and disrespectful to me I’m not a child and I know what pain feel like. I would not recommend him at all for any reason. He could have done something I believe his intentions were to not help me because I switched doctors and he had already been told not to treat me.I have used many Rothman doctors in the past this was very unprofessional on so many levels they haven’t heard the last of me!!!

Dr Mark Desmond has taken care of my knees,thanks to him I am able to work. I thank him for my mobility.

Dr. Desmond replaced both knees for me. Thanks to him and Jeanette, for all the kindness they gave me. I was so very scared and a main concern for me was not to limp. Today I am pain free with some limitations. Dr. Desmond all the way! I always said I was his favorite patient! I totally trusted him with my future.

The staff is always very friendly. Dr. Desmond did a full hip replacement. He always explains what is going on and gives me options to try before surgery.

Dr. Desmond and his staff is totally awesome and very professional. Thank you for bringing my hand back.

At each step of the way I was given exercises, to enable me to return to my routines. Thank you for all that you do! Dr. Desmond helped me get back my peace of mind.

My main requirement of a surgeon is satisfaction and confidence. I've had several surgeries with Dr. D. and am very satisfied. I trust Dr. Desmond to do what is necessary. You have to speak up and express your desires and expectations and have a goal with your treatment. I am trusting him to do a full knee replacement in the near future. Four stars because no one is perfect.

I came for a pinched nerve from my back to leg. Dr Desmond spent very little time with me. Bedside manner lacking. He did not make me feel like he was interested in anything I had to say, so he recited what he wanted to say,,period. As a nurse in a hospital, I have seen many doctors,,poor bedside manner sets the tone for mistrust. I do not plan on seeing him again.
