Very personable and courteous. Takes his time with you and really is concerned about your health.

Christie Mitchell goes above and beyond any nurse practitioner. After almost a year of doctors blowing off a problem, Christie had a diagnosis within 3 weeks. She was always quick to call back with results, and was always right on top of getting to the next step. My husband who cannot walk has been waiting over 3 weeks for the doctor to fill out paper work for medical supplies.I have never heard of this taking so long.He's keeps talking his time filling out paper work.I am so frustrated Gonna look for new doctor.Nurses can be rude to.

Long wait time! Appointment was for 2pm, it's 4:40pm, still haven't met the Doctor. I'm making this edit to be fair. This long wait was for an initial appointment, he kept me as the last patient because he knew we would need the time. He seems to be a very thorough Doctor. His office has also been great about getting referrals and test ordered and done very quickly. I'm am a new patient, coming over as a 100% disabled combat wounded veteran, from the V.A. medical care using the veterans choice program that as far as I can tell so far is an absolute game changer for veterans that need better care, more often, and without having to drive to Montgomery, or Burmingham and I absolutely must say that the actual treatment, Level of care, Of courteousness, compassion, and the speed at which things get done is amazing to me and it is also super easy and quick to get a appointment. I haven't seen him many times yet, but will on Thursday so I'll do a better review then maybe. Overall seems like a great Dr. I am anxious and excited to get deeper into my deeper issues. This has probably been the best doctor that I have ever been to, my examination was very through all of my questions were answered and all of the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Ellis.

I've been a seeing Dr. Ellis for several years and have never had to wait more than 20 minutes. He takes time to talk sometimes more than I want to hear..lol..but the staff is always friendly and professional!

Dr Ellis always gives of his time to explain his diagnosis and give directions to improve the situation I always come away with the feeling he really knows his stuff. He has saved me from emergency room visits of which I am very thankful.

Dr Ellis and his staff are throu and professional. They go above and beyond to make sure their patients are taken care of and receiving the best care possible. I have been to many Doctors, but never have I ever felt so cared for.

Christie his nurse practitioner is wonderful. Best one ive ever ever had! Dr ellis is a good doctor . But i gotta say ill never leave as long as she is working there.

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to !! Dr.Ellis is the most uncaring doctor I have ever seen. He has no sympathy for his patients what so ever..I was told basically the pain I was having was all in my head and then was told he would give me my money back and I could go somewhere else. I expressed to him how rude he was being and how it wasn't in my head and I didn't want meds I wanted to figure out what the problem was!! But instead what did he do he offered me more medicine to treat something that he hasn't even checked for... Now he says it could be gerd!! Dr Ellis is a great Doctor and explains his self well but his nurse is very unprofessional and does not help after the visit. I called first thing this morning when they opened up about my prescription and about my xrays he sent me after and its 1:15 p.m and have not herd one thing. Her Exact words were I said I would call you when we know something. There are not enough kind words to say about thie entire staff. They all take their time and are very friendly but also professional. will not give you what you need , will and can not give pain meds .. ! stay far away from this guy , he is a joke !

BOTH MY WIFE AND I USE DR. ELLIS FOR ALL PRIMARY CARE. WE HAVE FOUND HIM TO BE VERY CAPABLE. HE TAKES A LONG TIME WITH US ON EACH VISIT TO INSURE ALL OUR QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED. OUR WAIT TIMES HVE BEEN VERY SHORT. HIS STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS. AFTER ONE YEAR AS OUR PRIMARY DOCTOR WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH DR. ELLIS AND HIS STAFF.

Needs to go back to school. Thinks he can override other doctors.

I saw this man this morning. He was very rude and seemed inpatient with me after I had waited over an hour to see him. I arrived at 8:55 for a 9:00 appt. and it was past 10:25 by the time I saw him. I am being medically retired from the military and I'm already not happy about it or the fact that I'll never deploy and go on missions again. Honestly, when people like him treat me this way...similar to the way the VA treats soldiers, it makes me regret my service. Really, what was the point of it?

extreme long waiting times, Dr. can not stand any critics, changes all of a sudden - without discussing this with you - long terms prescription from a generic 10$ copay to a brand new on the market medicine which cost you 250$ copay. and if you address this issue this you get kicked out of the office.

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT FOR YEARS. I AM EMPRESSED WITH DR. MARK ELLIS AND HIS STAFF. HORIZON WELLNESS CENTER OFFERS UP TO DATE INFORMATION ON PROCEDURES AS WELL AS PREVENTATIVE OPTIONS TO HEALTH CARE.
