Update: 3 years post neck surgery of c5-7 and I am doing great! I am very grateful to Dr. Liker and his staff for giving me back my life! Previous post: Very nice office staff. Looking forward to hearing from the surgical scheduler to go forward with my surgery & healing. Dr. Liker has performed well with many friends and I am hoping for the same results. Nice, professional, thorough, gave choices. :)

TERRIBLE DR DID NOT DO THE CORRECT SURGERY AND CLOSED HIS OFFICE AND LEFT ME HIGH AND DRY

Can’t get thru to office staff - always on recording- never get a call back - so have no idea how my appointment might go!! If I can ever get it scheduled! And this is for surgery! Will I have any better response if I need help afterward??

MY EXPERIENCE SUCKED. DR. LIKERS STAFF IS RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, AND INEFFECIANT. DON'T GO THERE. I BEG YOU. LIKER YOU NEED TO GET AN EFFECIENCY EXPERT INTO YOUR OFFICE AND CLEAN HOUSE. You are just paying office staff to do what ever they want when ever they want. I have never dealt with such and inefficient , rude and obnoxious staff in a surgeons office in my life. PATIENTS NEEDS SHOULD AWAYS BE TOP PRIORITY , IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE PATIENT THE STAFF WOULD NOT HAVE A JOB. This office staff you have , have no Compassion or urgency for anything. I fought for Mark Liker 8 yrs ago. I had a horse fall on me & pinch a nerve in my neck. Then about 5 yrs ago I had major back surgery with a congenital problem I was born with & in chronic pain for over 20+ yrs. We absolutely love Dr. Liker and his entire staff! We have been fortunate enough to have Dr. Liker do many assorted surgeries on 2 of our family members. He has EXCELLENT bedside manner. The way he makes sure that that every single one of our questions were answered in a way we understood what the procedure was going to be done plus what was the expected outcome. Lazy, late for surgery, never saw me after. Forgot to leave pain prescription. Staff is completely incompetent. The girl at the front desk is rude, lazy, and completely incompetent of completing any paperwork. After surgery failed, refused to continue treating me. Never got an updated MRI, did surgery on an over 1 year old MRI. Had to go to higher level of care at USC so they could fix what Liker had done. I actually needed a spine fusion, not the BS he did that never worked.

It was may last follow up visit, very short waiting, everything was looking good and I feel so much better and can do thinks I only dreamed of, 1 year ago! Dr Liker is an amazing surgeon and I can only recommend him!

I was recommended to Dr. Liker from my primary doctor. Dr. Liker explained what surgery would be best for me that would relieve some pressure from my problem with sciatic nerves pains that would favor my left leg and sometimes my right. He did a invasive back surgery on me 2/26/21, and although I am still healing, I do feel a difference. I would recommend Dr. Liker to any of my friends and family, if the need arises.

I have been seeing Dr. Liker for many years. He has performed neck and lower back surgery on me. He explains options available prior to recommending surgery when he can. He is a very skillful surgeon and has a great bedside manner. He listens to his patients and takes the time needed to address patient needs and concerns.

How do I put 19 years of pain in words? We all know the pain management route. Then you find out that taking Morphine for 15 years is taking its toll on your body. Then its very hard to stop the morphine.. two years to conquer it ! Then you remember why you needed it. PAIN. Then through faith, good luck, whatever you wish to call it.. I got Dr. Liker as my pilot through my journey.. One by one he found my problems, and better than that he did the fix!!! My wife cried with happiness.. I still see the little things I couldn’t do without pain...now , no pain!!! If there is anybody not satisfied with Dr. Liker, I am guessing you didn’t give him enough time! I went through 3 surgery’s to finally be able to say, “ Thank You for using the talent, the blessings you have been given” .... Dr. Liker is very kind and personable. He explains conditions well and readily admits to that with which he is comfortable and that with which he is not. He referred me to another doctor who specializes in problems such as mine.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Liker. From arrival to leaving, I have no complaints. He was very professional and had a good bedside manner. The receptionist/medical asst, Christe, was outstanding. Between answering the phones (every 2 mins), to being courteous, helpful, and informative, she did a great job. She even got my MRI approved in record time when the radiology center failed at doing so. She was very efficient and thorough and I wish all my drs offices had staff like this!!

Worst doctor ever. Does not follow up or care about the lives of his patients. He will also lie to your face. Avoid at all costs.

Dr Liker listened and understood my situation and explained what the MRI showed and we came up with a game plan to fix my problem.Very pleased.

Follow up visit. Didn’t have to wait long like I do at other doctors office. Twice brain surgery from Dr. Liker. Fair to say he has saved my life so TWO BIG THUMBS UP!!!

Had to wait I hour to see the Dr. then we talked about 8-10 minutes, he didn't wear a mask but everyone else did.

Would have given 5 stars but I had a previous appointment that I had to cancel because I waited 2 hours before I had to leave to care for a sick dog. No one should have to wait that long. Personally ive had my neck fusion cervical C5 & C6 by Dr. Liker 2 years ago and have significant results in neck and thoracic pain since Dr.Liker performed my surgery. I researched for a week reading Community Physicians Bio’s and Resumes, Education, Experience, and Bed Side Manner definitely. As the son of a Physician I can say these “Great Doctors” see anywhere from 20-maybe 30 or more a day. I am more than Pleased with Dr. Likers performance and the results from my fusion. If your prepared and have your conditional preparation done that speeds visits to. Dr. Mark Liker is an amazing doctor and really knows what he is doing. I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation at age 20 and needed brain surgery. He educated my family and I of the procedure and was open to answering any questions. I did a lot of research before hand and a lot of other people around the world who were diagnosed with Chiari and received the same surgery had an incision going up their whole head, but he was gentle and made mine only around 3 inches. My healing process so smooth that I was at my own house and doing most things my self just a week later. I was very nervous and couldn’t believe this was happening to me at such a young age, but he made me feel comfortable with the procedure and made sure I knew the recovery will be a lot better than expected. Dr Liker gave us quality time during our visit, he explained to us , my husband 's problem n the appropriate surgery , n what he is going to do.

I have been a patient of Dr. Liker for a while. Dr. Liker always answered my questions and my husband's. He explained everything in great deal and calmed my fears. I suffered brutal headaches, after the surgery, I haven't had one. His staff is amazing and always tolerant of me (not an easy task). I highly recommend Dr. Liker.

This is a surgeon who is masterful. God really blessed his hands. They perform miracles. I was in constant pain prior to surgery. He first advised non surgical treatments, including weight loss 2 years later I finally had to have 4 screws, Two rods and a new disc. I love Dr Liker !!!!!

Long waits every time, rude staff, failed surgery, never saw Dr. Likers for 7 months after surgery, bounced between assistants who were not on the same page. pain management terrible, screwed up Rx prescriptions. The low bidder GP who is doing post op rounds, release and pain management sent me home with highly inadequate pain prescriptions that I had to get filled in person at CVS two days after surgery. Physicians Assistant arrogant and condescending. Worse off today than before L4-L5 interbody fusion operation. I am back to injections, oblation and pills.

Great bedside manner listen to my husband concerns. Honest. Explained condition in a way you can understand. I thank a God for him.

I have a damaged cervical neck spinal disc. It's giving me an obnoxious headache, severe throat ache with my neck hurting down to my left hand. The pain and meds make it hard to communicate but Dr Liker has seen past that and has recommended a repair correction. Thank you for your ability to go beyond logic to find and help me.

Showed up to my appointment about 10 mins early. I had been waiting 5 weeks for this appointment in pretty bad pain. I was excited for this and the hopes of moving forward in life without the pain I have been living in. I waited in the waiting room for 90 mins before being taken to a room and there was told it would be another 30-45 mins before the doctor would be with us....I left. My time is important to me and I am sure Dr. Liker's time is important too. I wish he would take that into account when booking appointments. I'm not going to trust a doctor that can't manage his own business to cut on me EVER!!!

I had heard what amazing surgeon he was but when I finally got to see him after waiting weeks he was abrupt rude condescending and very preoccupied. He let me know that he had 100 surgeries ahead of me that he had to get done before the end of the year .i felt like just another number . He didn’t explain things properly and his office staff was just as bad . I have been in pain for 20 years. Bicycle accident when I was a kid. Always did everything I could to avoid surgery. I was put in a position where I couldn't wait any longer. I was admitted to Henry Mayo because I couldn't manage the pain any longer on my own. Finally met Dr. Liker. My experience was phenomenal. I was in his office for over 2 hours but that was the least of my worries and it was all worth it. He and Dr Patel listened and evaluated me in the most competent way i have experienced. I had seen 2 other incompetent doctors prior to Liker and Patel. They were professional, patient, accurate, and listened. Reviews matter.

Dr. Liker has been my spinal neurosurgeon since 2013, with two fusions and a hemilaminectomy during that time. He is an amazing surgeon and I wish I could leave a 5-star review, but cannot. He has a bad habit of condescending to his patients and even telling untruths if it serves his purposes. A recent MRI on my cervical spine clearly shows a herniation at the C7/T1, causing myelopathy in my left arm due to nerve impingement. He is sending me for nerve testing of the ulnar, and was evasive.

I called back several days later asking what happened and the attitude that I received was rude and unprofessional. I don't know what kind of doctor he is but the service I received was more than enough for me to search another doctor.

I can be a hard critic of health care places and the people employed by them. Combine that attitude with an innate crankiness when I’m not feeling at all well and having to wait a while to see Dr. Liker, the result can be much less than pleasant. I was very pleased with my neck and back surgery. Dr. Liker was a world of difference from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with attentive care. I felt safe and at easy from beginning to end--he was worth the long wait!

After many bad experiences with other drs i was referred to dr liker. I was at my witts end. Dr liker was friendly,opn minded and found the problem where others ignored it. 11 years later I am not pain free but the surgery saved my life as far as I'm concerned. Thanks Dr liker
