Dr. Mikhael is one of the best doctors I've ever known! I was so nervous about breaking multiple bones, dislocating a bone & messing up my joints from an awful freak accident fall, and he did a great job on my surgery less than two weeks ago. Im very grateful he was my surgeon and highly recommend him. I am EXTREMELY afraid of needles/doctors/anything blood related and he made me feel super comfortable and he helped me with any questions I had. He's an amazing doctor!! I tore up the right Achilles Tendon in February of 2020. After two rounds of conservative treatment, I had surgery in mid-December 2020. After six weeks in a cast and 4 weeks in a boot, my injury is nearly recovered. I'm engaged in therapy, of course, and I progress very noticeably. Pain is down by 90% and function is nearly 100%. My walking appears normal to my friends, and I don't limp anymore. Yesterday I walked nearly 3 miles in a park, on uneven paths, then I walked a bit on a beach on the ocean. I thought it would be impossible, but I can now do calf lifts, stand on my toes, walk tip-toe, and I am practically pain free. I can go down stairways normally! Dr. Mikhael is a kind, caring doctor. He responds to questions and challenges gracefully and he has a comforting demeanor. He proposes solutions of gradual complexity, in my case culminating in surgery. And yet, he can accommodate more aggressive paths right from the beginning, when possible. I'm a retired doctor so maybe I'm a bit more attentive to how doctors behave and how they reach conclusions. I find Dr. Mikhael to be personable, knowledgeable and competent. Based on my results, he's a very good surgeon. Plus, I really like him as a man I'm grateful. Addendum 04/19/2021 It's been Four months since surgery last December, and I'm now up to 97% recovered. I can walk 3 miles pain-free, uphill or down hill, I can walk on dry sand at the beach, go down any stairs and climb ladders. I'm ecstatic. My thankfulness has no bounds to the team of people who naturally make OSS a humane and smooth operation. I'm grateful to physical therapist Dr. Vincent Ho. I am forever indebted to Dr Mikhael for his great persona, judgement and skills. Addendum 12/17/2021 Exactly a year since surgery, I'm 100% normal. no limitation, no pain, no discomfort. All good. If there was an option for less than one star, I would give it. My husband went in to see Dr. Mikhael for a complete toe fracture and came out of there with little to no information. Dr. Mikhael was very rude and his bedside manner is absent. But whatever, that wouldn't even matter if he was a good doctor. He literally spent 3 minutes with my husband, barely examined his foot, glanced at his x-rays and offered little to no advice on how to proceed. My husband literally had to ask all the questions to get advice or information from him on how to proceed. He was extremely dismissive of my husband's pain and basically told him "you're fine" even though the urgent care doctor highly recommended seeing a specialist for such an impressive fracture. Do what is best for you and avoid this doctor if you can. If there was an option for less than one star, I would give it. Great doctor. Great place

Excellent Doctor. Very knowledgable and respectful to patients.

Very kind and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. I appreciate all the efforts during a very stressful time. Dr. M was very thoughtful and informative.

I went to see him Sept 2019, with severe shoulder pain and very limited range of motion. They took an xray. He spent 5 minutes, looked at the xray, did not examine my shoulder, and told me it's nothing. He can give me a cortisone shot "if I want", and some PT. I thanked him and said I would think about it. Now 3 months later, and under the care of a wonderful doctor, who ordered an MRI, only to reveal that I have a few tears in my shoulder, and need surgery. Extremely unprofessional

I love this doctor. First of all the surgery he performed on my broken hip was miraculous, and he’s helpful, funny and extremely nice. I feel lucky that he was the doctor that I got.

Dr. Mikhael is an amazing Dr. Not only does he sit and listen to your issues, he explains everything in detail and give options. He has a great bedside manner which is very important to me. I jut had foot surgery with him, and everything went as smooth as he explained. Thank you Dr. Mikhael! I would definitely recommend him!

Dr. Mikhael was conservative but thoughtful in his treatment. Always kind and responsive Dr. Mikhael is also easy to talk to.

Dr Mikhael is a wonderful surgeon! He is professional, courteous and very capable. He was recommended by a neighbor who also was very pleased with the results of her foot surgery.

The doctor refused to see me when I declined to sign an arbitration agreement. First time this has ever happened to me. Office staff unpleasant. Ridiculous to expect patients to sign one-sided legal documents in exchange for care. The doctor wasted a full hour of my time.

Liar, unprofessional, no interpersonal skills whatsoever. According to him it's ok for you to have crooked hand as long as it's functional. Are you for real??? That's coming from a doctor who's supposed to correct the problem. If you can't fix a simple fracture you should have your license revoked.

Dr. Mikhael was excellent! Smart, knowledgable, a good communicator, caring. I'm so glad he counselled me.

Dr. Mark Mikhael is unprofessional, unhelpful and should not be practicing medicine. He was not forthcoming with information re my injury. I had to ask multiple questions in order to obtain any details. He lost or misplaced documents provided from another medical facility. I was charged for services that were not provided. His office is unorganized and overbooked. Would never refer anyone to him or the OSS office.

Challenging appointment scheduling process. Dr. Mikhael was less than personable, informative or helpful. Medical records brought into their office were discarded or lost. Dr. Mikhael took no time to ask me any questions, explain to me the healing process or offer the ability to communicate if I have questions or concerns following the visit. In no way do I recommend this facility or Dr. Mikhael.

Great repair for my trauma. Easy to talk to, patient and knowledgeable.
