Dr. Slabaugh was great. He was very attentive to me and listened to all of the many questions I had. I feel so much better after surgery and have gained mobility in my shoulder. I would recommend him for those are interested in returning to the best you that you can be.????????

While many of Dr. Slabaugh's patients may have 'earned' their injuries through sports, my shoulder problem was simply from wear and tear and walking a Labrador that I didn't train properly. His care over the past 8 months - which did progress to surgery after PT and injections didn't do the trick - was absolutely fantastic. I understood the potential risks and benefits, and his predictions on the milestones I'd reach were spot on. I recommend his unreservedly, and while I hope I don't have more joint problems, his office will be my first call if I do.

Phenomenal Dr. who was as thorough and professional when assessing and diagnosing my shoulder issues. The Pre-Op and Post Op care and availability to assist in my full recovery were outstanding. I pray I won't need more orthopedic care since he has retired from the military and is on to bigger and better things. Thank you for being a Dr. who actually listens and connects with his patients. God Bless and guide you.

Dr. Slabaugh reconstructed my ACL with a patella tendon graft. Prior to the surgery, he diligently explained all the options available to me, making my decision stress free. Now 3 months post op, I’m confident I’ll have a knee stronger than the one I was born with. Excellent from start to finish.

Dr. Slabaugh was extremely professional from start to finish. He conducted bicep tenodesis surgery on my right shoulder to repair a torn labyrum. I'm still in recovery but the entire procedure from surgery to follow ups has been a great experience and I have had zero issues or concerns throughout the healing process. I would recommend him time and time again! Thanks for everything.

Dr. Slabaugh expertly conducted an arthroscopic posterior Labrum repair. The shoulder, being a complex joint, is easily prone to mistakes. Dr. Slabaugh was done with the surgery in a matter of hours and followed up throughout my continued recovery. Thanks to him, I have full range of motion in the shoulder back and am able to resume extensive contact sport.

Dr Slabaugh has fixed me on 3 separate occasions... absolutely top notch. Told me in Layman’s terms what he needed to do and how he fixed me every time.

My fifth Othro Surgeon from the USAF Academy Hospital, Dr Mark Slabaugh was top notch and highly recommended. He provided my 10th ortho surgery repairing three tears in my right rotator cuff. His medical care from my first appt, to final post visit was nothing but professional, thorough and confident. The entire experience was 5 star. Wish him the best as he makes his transition to the civilian sector ... a great asset for any lucky medical institution.

I had two major rotator cuff tears in my left shoulder Dr. Slabaugh successfully repaired them both. One tear was so severe that it required superior capsule reconstruction surgery where cadaver graft is used to repair the tear. The grafted skin is anchored between the upper end of the shoulder socket and the upper end of the arm bone. From what I was told not that many surgeons are qualified to do this procedure since it is a relatively new surgery. After four months of physical therapy, I’m about 70% healing rate with more room to improve.

Dr. Slabaugh performed a total shoulder replacement procedure on my right shoulder. Through the entire process, Dr. Slabaugh provided all options, and pros and cons to each option. Prior to surgery, he explained what was going to happen, and what to expect as far as recovery and future mobility results. After my surgery, he continued to monitor my recovery progress and provided valuable advice and recommendations to make sure my rehabilitation went as well as possible. He is a friendly and personable doctor, and I never had any problems talking to him concerning my issue. It’s been 6 months since surgery and, throughout my recovery, Dr. Slabaugh has always provided positive encouragement and ensured me that I would be back to normal in no time. He was right. His competence and exceptional surgical skills have enabled me to get back to doing the activities I love. A truly outstanding and awesome doctor! Thanks Dr. Slabaugh.

Dr Slabaugh performed a subacromial decompression and Labrum repair (reattachment)...I was prepared for a challenging and long recovery. I was in a couple of stores about 6 weeks after surgery, and a few people approached me asking what surgery I had, when I told them, they each told me a horrible story about their (same) surgery...I could NOT relate. My recovery has been awesome in comparison to others who had the same surgery and I have credited it to Dr. Slabaugh...THANK YOU!!

Pretty much shattered my left clavicle skiing. Had a consult with Dr. Slabaugh who laid out, in easy to understand detail, surgical repair vs. leaving it alone to heal. Elected surgical option and so happy I did. Pre-op, surgery, and all post-op procedures were absolutely exceptional. Extremely satisfied with the results and being back at 100% strength, mobility and functionality. Proud to be a member of the "partial cyborg" world with my titanium plate and 7 screws. Thank you Dr. Slabaugh for your outstanding surgical acumen.

I tore my ACL and Dr. Slabaugh was the doctor that replaced my ACL. He had so many patience with me, I had a ton of questions (I showed up to my initial appointment with a notebook with all questions written down) and he answered all my questions with empathy and understanding. The morning of my surgery he met with me again assuring me everything would be fine. He was correct everything was fine. He encouraged me the entire way through recovery. He didn't sugar coat the recovery procedure, he is a straight up guy and told me exactly what I needed to do to be successful during recovery. IF I or anyone I know ever needs surgery of this nature, Dr. Slabaugh will be the FIRST person I RECOMMEND!!

Dr. Slabaugh has provided me with world class care throughout the healing process. His presurgery care was concise, complete and compasionate in attempting to provide relief without surgery. When my injury was exacerbated by continuous use of the affected joint, surgery became necessary. Dr. Slabaugh provided continuous support and encouragement from surgery to post operative physical therapy to insure that I have a positive outcome that exceeded my high expectations. For the first time in years I am enjoying pain free, 100% range of motion of my left shoulder. I highly recommend and sing the praises of this world class healer.

Dr. Slabaugh was great throughout my injury, my surgery, and my follow up visits. He was personable and very easy to talk to. I felt as though he was very understanding of my situation, which was a sports related injury, and my desire to heal quickly in order to get back to a competitive level of fitness. Post surgery, he was able to advise me on how to regain strength and mobility, which was really important to me.

After 50 years of sports, I've seen more than my fair share of orthopedic docs and I'll tell you Dr. Mark Slabaugh was the best. Tore my Achilles in May and we discussed a wide range of options based on my long, complicated medical history. Dr. Slabaugh addressed all issues and we opted for surgery. Great results and I was ahead of rehab timeline despite age. I was impressed enough to insure Dr. Slabaugh did my shoulder surgery in Oct. Labrum and bicep tendon repair. Couldn't be happier with the results. Dr Slabaugh has great "bedside manor" and makes you well informed of all options before making a surgical decision. While I hope not to ever need an orthopedic surgery again, if i did Dr. Slabaugh would be my first choice.

I had an MRI in Denver, was diagnosed with a partial tear in my rotator cuff and was told by my Primary Care Physician that it would get better with physical therapy. After almost a year of treatment, I made little progress. I then saw Dr. Slabaugh and what I really had was a torn bicep tendon. He repaired it EXPERTLY. I am only 3 months post-surgery and have very little discomfort and have almost full range of motion. Compared to every other surgeon and doctor I have dealt with (8 in the last 10 years for various injuries) -- he is by far the BEST in every aspect - from pre- and post-op care to his personal touch and care and concern for your well-being. I would highly recommend him!!!

At 62 I managed to detach 2 of the 5 tendons in my right hamstring. Dr. Slabaugh led the surgery that repaired the damage, and worked with me during recovery. Recommend without any reservation.

I saw Dr. Slabaugh after experiencing a knee injury (torn meniscus). Dr. Slabaugh explained the injury, the different options for treatment and expected outcomes / impacts of each. Ultimately, the best path forward for me was to have surgery which Dr. Slabaugh performed. It's now been 6 weeks and I very happy with the results. Besides the great result, I really appreciated Dr. Slabaugh's straight-forward approach and detailed explanations / answers for any questions I had. While I hope to not need his services again, I have no reservations to seek him out if needed and will refer my family and friends his way if they ever have a need.
