I am an Registered nurse. Mark as worked with me and my mom to recover from covid. Frequent visits to help mom control her heart rate, blood pressure and diabetes . He is patient and knowledgeable.

I thoroughly enjoyed being a patient of Dr. Taylor; he was so thorough, courteous and caring. One of Gig Harbor’s finest.

Front desk staff were great and efficient. The appointment with Mark let me feeling unheard and talked down upon. I left feeling ashamed about my health. Also he is a ARNP and not a doctor.

Made an appointment to obtain a routine prescription eye drop for dry eyes. Was set up for an eye exam, and told the assistant I was here for the drops and had already seen my optometrist. She said, "you will have to see the doctor before he can give you those drops". Dr Taylor did his routine eye exam (which I didn't need) and then said he could not give me those drops until a second visit because my insurance required a special test, and those drops were expensive and probably wouldn't be covered anyway. I called my insurance, they said no tests required and drops were around $20. So I wasted a half day off work, paid for a second eye exam (insurance only covers one exam a year) and got nothing. Insensitive, tactless and disrespectful if you want an eye Dr. that cares about his patients this not your guy!

Poor “bedside” manner, hard to get in to see, and if you want a service or procedure done you need to be forceful and stand your ground. Unfortunately the selection ophthalmologist’s in Gig Harbor is lacking.

Made an appointment over a month ago, I called the day of the appointment to verify the time and was told I had no appointment.

I think he is probably a very competent MD just not very personable and a bit arrogant. Recently my wife had an emergency issue and the doctor on call could not be reached by the answering service. Mediocre service from this medical providers organization.

The best eye doctor/surgeon around gig harbor me and my parents go to him and are extremely happy

Dr Taylor is Very good. He did the surgery to remove my cataracts and even healed my 40-years nearsighted eyes!

Very poor office staff. Just got back from a scheduled appointment, checked in and waited over 30 minutes before the staff recognized they had forgotten me - I walked out. This also happened last year also walked out when they again recognized they had forgotten me after I checked in. Will not be returning this time.

I cannot make an appointment due the inept staff. I called, put on hold. After a few minutes called again and told needed a referral. I got one. Called again staff couldn't find it. Asked primary care physician again and they said the referral was handled. Called again for an appointment. put on hold again. after a few minutes called again. No Joy ... too busy put on hold. Forget it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Taylor for over ten years, and he is wonderful. He removed my cataracts with no problems whatsoever. I would recommend him to anyone for both regular and special eye care.

Dr Taylor has been my eye doc for several years. He did my cataract surgery and I could not be happier with the results. His bedside manner is outstanding as well. Always cheerful and exuding the confidence that he has earned through his extensive practice. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Taylor for anyone's eye care.
