Dr. Martha A. Gordon

Been a patient of Dr. Gordon's for over a decade. Best psychiatrist I've ever had. Knows her stuff. Works with you to find solutions. We tried a lot of options until we found a fit for me. She's always positive and encouraging.

The best!!!

She fired me because I started asking her questions about my treatment. Dont go to her. She does not like to take care of her patients, she only likes to ask her questions and collect her payment. She is also kinda weird herself.

She does not handle her job well and gets easily overwhelmed. She does not like to take care of any complex issues or problems. She is also very flighty and odd. She just threw her hands up, never got back to me with an answer and then fired me for no reason.

Dr.Gordon is truly a caring special person. She is excellent ! I highly recommend her expertise .

Went to dr Gordon for 25 years. Amazing doctor and person. Haven't been able to find anyone that comes close since I moved

I was highly recommend using Dr Gordon , I have been going to her over 5 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. She listens and has helped me when nobody else could. my only regret is not to her sooner . She gives me time to talk and she truly cares

I have been seeing Dr. Gordon for quite a few years now at the recommendation of a friend. She worked with me to find a medication that didn't leave me with troubling side effects and we eventually found the right combination, which improved my quality of life and my marriage. Since seeing her, I was able to further my education and make changes in my life that I was previously unable to do. She is also lovely to talk to and I've always enjoyed my visits with her and Jennifer (who expertly runs the front). Very hard to get an appointment. Have to leave messages which usually gets unanswered. When they do call back, the 1st available appointments is usually over a month away. Dr Gordon is excellent, caring, and experienced dealing with ADHD children would highly recommend her. She listens and works with you to find the meds needed for your child.

I have been seeing Dr Gordon for several years now. She has always been a very kind and empathetic professional whom I find very comforting and feel very well taken care of. Her office staff is fantastic and so very friendly. It is refreshing not to just feel like a number these days. I don’t know what I would have done without her. I absolutely love Dr. Gordon. She is very kind and empathetic in a very professional way. I feel very comfortable and safe with her. Very easy to talk to. Her office staff is wonderful. So friendly and helpful. I hope I never have to go anywhere else.

Dr Gordon has been my psychiatrist for 10 years. Scheduling a next appointment before I leave is never a problem. Office staff is wonderful.

not worth seeing /not able to handle her job /she gives up on people that have problems that can't be fixed easily

I felt she took an "old school" approach vs a more holistic approach. She was very dismissive of reasoning I would present to her.

Been seeing her since 8th grade, now a senior. She always actually listens and is understanding! I'd never change and see anyone else. I love doctor gordon????

Dr Gordon has been responsive, helpful, and most importantly successful! Our son has transformed into the wonderful boy we always knew was in there. She listens and responds with solutions that have worked in other situations that were similar. I have no hesitation recommending her strongly.

When my children needed a doctor for anxiety and ptsd, Dr. Gordon came highly recommended. We are so glad that we found her. She has been immensely helpful for my kids, and is most interested in people becoming whole. I am grateful that she was able to help us so much that 2 of my kids have already been able to grow and heal so that they no longer need medication. Other doctors we saw just increased dosages until it was unhealthy. What a gift to our medical community!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Gordon's for many years. She listens and is compassionate. I have never had a long wait in the waiting room.

Dr. Gordon certainly takes the time to understand your issues. I have other psychiatrist which have not been understanding nor preferred professional. Please consider speaking with Dr. Gordon for your care.

I have been seeing Dr. Gordon for numerous years and she has always returned a phone call. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring. She is a joy to see!

Dr. Gordon is. an excellent doctor. She has been a compassionate voice in my struggle with bipolar. I recommend her highly with no reservations. Her patience in trying different medications to get me well, her genuine concern in getting me to function has done much in my journey of recovery. Dr Gordon knows a lot about psychiatric medications. If you are looking for a thoughtful and experienced doctor visit Dr. Gordon. I have mentained a reason able level of wellness as her patient.

I've seen her for many years. She will not return a rare call of emergency and is very unprofessional.She is in the wrong profession. Looking for a professional psychiatrist. The other m.d.'s I've seen for various ailments have questioned her choice of meds.

This woman should lose her license. The meds she just throws at people. I'm surprised she hasn't already been reported

I love going to this office. Dr. Gordon listens well and truly cares for her patients. I would highly recommend her.

Today I was hoping to start with a new Psychiatrist that was highly recommended by a friend of mine. I somehow messed up on the time I was suppose to be there- which I ended up being 30 minutes late. I understand how schedules go, but there was no trying to accommodate me- 1 to work me in sometime today or rescheduling me in somewhere in the next 2 weeks. Well, OUTCOME- They weren't even concerned about me and was trying to give me a June 16th date. 1 1/2 months down the line. I ADMITTED that I made the mistake when I looked at my calendar for time frame. NOT impressed with a doctors' office that doesn't even TRY to accommodate me and not hold it against me and schedule me 1 1/2 months down the line. Someone referred me to Martha Gordon with a very positive assessment of her skill and bedside manners. I found both lacking. She clearly doesn't listen - couldn't even write the right prescription! Twice! Even though I specifically stated what medication I take in what dosage because it is a little strange (or: old school). She is rude and insulting (even people without an MD can read & think!).

My psychiatrist of almost 20 years retired and the person who schedules for Baptist recommended Dr. Gordon to me personally and I am very happy with her as my psychiatrist. She is a good listener and really seems to care about her patients.
