Well-connected & with good motives but very DIFFICULT to work with & OVER-BILLS repeatedly & very SLOPPY & with ERRORS galore (even on a key final settlement letter to my Judge)…thank goodness my mom was an English teacher who taught me to review all & edit as a kid. He did his best on an already nearly done deal, but clearly his 85 or so years is showing. Younger Docs now suddenly on his webpage? A bad sign. Sad, as he IS the firm, it will likely IMPLODE without him. Tells jokes & stories & CHARGES you $650./hr for them as well…omg! He & his billing have to be supervised closely. He can be mean & spiteful & gets offended so easily, a sign of a fragile ego & narcissist. Look around. Caveat emptor, let the buyer BEWARE.

Dr. Firestone is in San Mateo, CA. He's brilliant, hardworking, well educated, highly professional and experienced in legal work, psychology and more. He's well published, fast, totally supportive, does what he says, and he's all there for you. He also has a terrific and supportive staff, and a comfortable office with parking and easy access. I feel very lucky that he accepted me as a client.

I was a patient of Dr. Firestone when he was practicing in Boulder, CO I was very young and it was a difficult time for me, my first time seeking psychological help. Dr. Firestone appeared helpful and concerned, but failed to maintain a good rapport and was easily frustrated by my shyness and difficulty in expressing myself. He also took a call from my father (who was paying for my visits, but I was over 18 ) and violated my trust by discussing w/Dad family dynamics & private information of me.

Fantastic Dr. He is very caring and very knowledgeable.
