Dr. Mary P. Lupo

As a physician, I want to say Dr. Lupo is fantastic. There’s simply no one better at injectables and fillers. She’s also treated a traumatic scar of mine with steroid injection followed by Fraxel laser and it’s dramatically improved after only two treatments. I only wish I’d gone to her sooner. She takes the time to listen to what your goals are, and is basically an artist. I didn’t even know all the different types of things fillers could be used for and was slightly hesitant to try at first because you see people who have gone overboard with it, but now I listen to whatever she says. She does an absolutely phenomenal job. In her words “the only bad filler is the filler you see.” She somehow knows exactly how to make you look better. I could not be happier with my experience and the amazing results I’ve gotten, and trust whatever her recommendations are. I cannot imagine going to anyone else.

I recently had a skin issue (emergency) and had to contact Dr. Lupo’s office on a weekend. Dr. Lupo got in touch with me right away, told me what to do and got me started with proper medication to begin the healing process. In the weeks that followed she fit me in to her schedule so she could monitor my progress. She and her staff kept in touch with me by phone and email to make sure things were healing. Dr. Lupo used various medications, therapies and lasers to repair the skin and ensure there was no lasting damage. I’m very grateful for her expertise and attentiveness. Thank you Dr. Lupo!

After suffering from acute rosacea and rhinophyma for more than a decade, I finally discovered Dr. Lupo in 2014. What has transpired since then is nothing short of life changing. Every previous dermatologist (and I've seen dozens) couldn't figure out how to help me and played around the edges of treatment. Dr. Lupo, using a creative combination of medicine and lasers has treated not only the symptoms but the cause. She transformed my unsightly, bulbous and constantly infected nose into a "normal" nose and I've been issue free from more than 6 years now. Dr. Lupo is the best. I have been a patient of hers for years. I see her as an aging adult for cosmetic reasons. She treats my face in a way of long-term preventative maintenance as it relates to aging - for an overall natural look. From my first appointment she knew what muscles I was using the most and why, and what we needed to address first. She continues to switch things up to address all of the muscles in my face and neck. Now, when I tell people my age, they look at me shocked and say no way!...you don’t even look like one of those people who’s had a bunch of work done. I hear it all of the time. 10?? The Phenomenal Dr. Mary Lupo, in my opinion, is a renowned Dermatologist, the very best in the NOLA area!!! I first met Dr. Lupo in 2007 when she discovered my WBC was high after an extensive exam she performed, ultimately, resulting in my Lupus diagnosis. Because of her genuine compassion, care, and concern for the wellbeing of her patients, Dr. Lupo saved my life!!! There will never be another Dermatologist I will prefer to seek out in this life time for any Dermatology service!!! She makes me feel warm and safe in her care!!! She treats me like an extension to her family at every visit!!! Dr. Lupo’s office personal have never lacked in being so warm and inviting, All of the ladies provide the extreme best service experience. Ms. Jerry is 1 of her Office personals who is always more than willing to accommodate your every need, and her Office Manager, who has been apart of the staff for over 10 years, ensures that your experience visit is memorable!!!

For anyone questioning whether or not to try Injections because you feel like you look tired and run down, but you don’t want to end up looking fake, look no further than Dr. Mary Lupo! There is no one I trust more with enhancing my look naturally than her. I use to be afraid of needles and the thought of being injected. But something about her technique and use of distraction therapy keeps me at ease and I literally feel NO pain. I recently came in for my routine Visit with her (to make me look refreshed for the holidays) and had asked her opinion about lip fillers-not to make them Bigger but rejuvenated and to even out my shape. I always heard that lips hurt so bad and people bruise. She gave me her opinion on what I should do if I ever wanted to try it. She picked up on all of the little things I would notice about my lips instantly so I couldn’t resist but to try it. They hadn’t numbed my lips at all, and let me tell you, I was shocked at how painless It was!

Fabulous physician with great staff. Whether for cosmetic or medical purposes, absolutely the best. My husband loves that I look great but never “done”. Totally trust her to recommend the right procedure or filler, and they do their best to use coupons or promotions to save you money whenever possible. Not the cheapest, but when you look in the mirror and you see the results of her expertise looking back at you, you are glad to have chosen her. Medically unbelievably thorough from catching early skin cancers to following up after freezing a spot to make sure it’s gone. You never feel rushed by her or her staff, and they do their best to run on time. As a patient of several years who has seen Dr. Lupo for both medical and cosmetic services, it is hard to say all the great things about her and her staff!

I could not be happier with my results! Dr. Lupo subtlety enhanced my features to give me a more youthful look without drastically changing my appearance. A few years ago I had a co2 lazer treatment from another dermatologist that didn’t go so well. After waiting weeks for the redness and broken veins to look better it didn’t ! After a trusted recommendation I went to Dr Mary Lupo. She used two different lazer and several treatment to clear up the redness and broken veins. I would recommend Dr Mary Lupo to anyone that is looking for the best dermatologist in New Orleans. I am one happy lady!

Dr. Lupo has perfected the art of natural-looking cosmetic improvements. My lips have always been much fuller on one side than the other, making my mouth look asymmetrical; and I desired a more elongated facial shape. By using filler in my lips and chin area, Dr. Lupo gave me a much more symmetrical and balanced appearance. The impact she made was profound, while the changes were so subtle!

Dr. Lupo listened to my concerns and developed a plan of action that has remedied challenges I’ve had with problem skin for much of my adult life. As a woman of color I appreciated her familiarity with appropriate solutions,

1. She's ALWAYS late, usually about an hour, and never offers an apology. She rushes in and gives you 5 minutes of attention before handing you off. 2. I had microneedling done and they were super aggressive - even though I warned that I have ultra sensitive skin. I was given zero after-care instructions. Had to research myself whether the persistent redness, swelling and dryness was normal and what to do. Luckily I have a good aesthetician who gave me an after-care pack to help heal my skin.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lupo for nearly 15 years and could not be more pleased with the care and service I've received. I had seen countless dermatologists with minimal results before finding Dr. Lupo. She successfully diagnosed and treated my acne when no one else could. Since then, Dr. Lupo and her team have helped me maintain my treatment and various other skin care needs as I've gotten older. I’ve been suffering with unwanted facial hair on my chin since I was 14. At that time there were no lasers that catered to melanin rich skin tones. Dr. Lupo told me I didn’t have to suffer any longer and I began laser hair removal in June. In just four months after 4 treatments the hair has diminished significantly. I suffered with horrible scarring from ingrown hairs and with the hair removal and treatment regimen my complexion is finally uniform and I don’t have to hide under foundation

Dr. Lupo is a COMPLETE Pro. I've seen her 8+ times and Always leave in better shape! She KNOWS skin & I fully trust her. Dr. Lupo is straight forward and honest and her confidence leaves me knowing that I am in very good hands. Her Staff is as good as they come. Everyone there is helpful and efficient and kind. Celeste, (Dr. Lupo's left hand!), has bent over backwards to help me. I've never felt rushed or left there with unanswered questions. I will go back to Dr. Lupo as long as she'll have me.

The most natural application of Botox I've ever had. Dr. Lupo is efficient and to the point. She tells it like it is and I appreciate that. I intend on returning for misc procedures for years to come. I highly recommend!

As a 59 year old female, I am hooked!! Under Dr Mary Lupo, I have had 3 treatments of Kybella, 1 treatment of juvederm, and botox for the very first time. GUESS WHAT!!! No wringles !! I have pictures to prove it. I LOVE ALL of the treatments I am getting. This process is non evasive, no anesthesia administered and no it does not hurt. The beauty of it, is there is no down time. Saw dr lupo for recommendation about under eye skin texture. She said to me 'there is SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR FACE' and told me how 'she's 60 and her skin looks better than mine. for a second I tried to appreciate her honesty but then when she had her staff push 400$ worth of serums at me and I wised up and realized how insensitive her comments were I realize how terrible her bedside manner is!! If you have any sense of dignity and want to keep it, go anywhere else!!

I visited Dr Lupo several times. She walked around her office with a nitrogen dispenser and misdiagnosed my eczema as "warts". My hands were burned with the liquid nitrogen on all three of my visits - the pain was so severe I couldn't sleep. After several months, I got a second opinion from Dr McDonald and she immediately concluded I had eczema after one look. After a shot and use of a steroid cream for 2 weeks, I was cured. Dr Lupo is an artist. Her staff are always excellent.

I've been seeing Dr. Lupo for a few years now, and I really loved my results! Since I'm only 30 years old, Dr. Lupo's treatments have been very conservative to meet my needs and budget. The Botox treatments have helped me look more refreshed and rested - not different. Dr. Lupo's skin care recommendations and mild laser treatments have also given my complexion a smoother, more youthful look! Thank you, Dr. Lupo and your wonderful staff!
