Dr. Mary Ann Vaccarello

I have never had so many issues getting test results for my child , no one answers the phone and finally got through to speak with staff and they were very short with me showed no sympathy what so ever, it seems to be no one takes pride in their job anymore nor does anyone want to actually work and help patients. It has been well over a week since my daughter had a test done, as I was told I could call and get the results, however now I have to wait yet again due to someone not being there to give me my daughters test results , and they said the Dr. most likely wont have time to get to my request and let me know what the results were. This is extremely time sensitive, as I need to know if my daughter is ok. Yet they were so quick to take a co pay from me. This is extremely unacceptable and I want a response effective immediately. Its truly a shame because the Dr. is probably really nice and unaware of my issue and unaware if me simply wanting the test results. Seems there is a lack of communication at this office. I would consider hiring a new office staff. Or maybe just hire someone who is older, since most the staff that works here is so young and they could care less. I went to my last pediatric consultation with Dr Mary Vaccarello and I was very excited knowing that she is a unique, exceptional, close, pleasant and a super professional doctor who has always shown her mastery of knowledge. I will miss her with the assurance that no one will be able to replace her.

Horrible and very rude staff and doctors are extremely rude

As a former patient I went to this office with Vacerllo- Cruz. I felt very uncomfortable every time I went and she body shamed me. She even recommended me to only eat salad for breakfast lunch and dinner and couldn’t eat dressing with salad only a water down spray. As a young girl at the time I knew it wasn’t a balanced meal especially as a growing young lady. I felt depressed every time I left because they bashed me unbelievably. She looked down my pants and I felt it was very inappropriate. I even started crying one time in her session because of something she said about me and then she blamed it on school and that people were probably being mean when she just called me fat a few seconds before. At this time I was only 10-15 lbs over weight and still growing. This didn’t help me at all but loose self confidence. DONT GO TO THE OFFICE EITHER. The people working in the office have a very short fuse and rude too. If you have a son or daughter having weight problems, ABSOLUTELY IN NO CIRCUMSTANCE take them here. Unless you want them to hate themselves because of their weight don’t bring them here. I talked with another patient that went to here and them as a 22 year old they still have bad memories from Dr. Cruz and wouldn’t wish that on anyone. It was a horrible experience. As for the Doctor herself, she is rude and doesn’t care to give you the time of day. They take forever to get you out of the waiting and you sit for hours before they come into your room. I am not being dramatic my appointment was at 9:30 and we got there at 9:20 expecting to get in early and didn’t leave until 12:40. Its a complete waste of time for being made fun of by a lady 3 times your age. I hope this doesn’t happen to you. I don’t even give this one star but 0 stars isnt an option. My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in October 2020 and DR Meehan and her team at the 45th street location in west Palm Beach has treated us like family. they answer all our calls, text, emails every single time. They know us by name and case. Dianna OMG Diana has this special bond with my daughter and I'm so thankful for that. Dr. Meehan never once forces anything on us . she takes her time with us, she explains things to us in a way that we understand. Dr. Vaccarello treated my son beginning about 7 years old until 16. At first he had advanced bone-age of 2.5 years and looked like he'd miss his 3rd growth spurt entirely leaving him quite short. All parents owe their kids the time to do much research themselves. We began on AI just before age 10 and later GH. On our last visit his bone-age was estimated at 15 years and perhaps a bit less. But, he was 16 and a half! He is now 6'2" and probably wishes he did not give up on football because he has the height they want for the QB slot. I don't where he would be without Dr. Vaccarello.

The most unorganized and rude staff I have ever dealt with. They never answer their phones. The office is dirty and in disarray. Dr. Vaccarello-Cruz does not know her patients. Totally lost all confidence in this office. My daughter was referred here by her pediatrician. It has been 3 weeks and I still have not received lab work results. Cannot ever get through on the phone and every message that I left was unanswered except for the last one, when they finally decided they should call me back. When I finally did get someone to call me back I was told I need to bring my daughter (and the X-ray disc) back in to receive her results. They know we do not live close. I can’t just drop in just so they can get the X-ray disc. This is 2019, there’s no reason they cannot get the xrays emailed to them instead of making up another excuse to get me to come back in to give them the disc. Dr. Meehan was great with my daughter but when your staff is so incompetent that they cannot even return numerous messages, that doesn’t really say much for the competency of the office as a whole. And along with the lab work results I still have not received a reason as to why my messages were ignored when I was told by the office manager that she would be looking into it and find out why this occurred. They care about there patients.

13 years and plus that my niece has been seeing Dr V.Cruz from the first day i knew that she was in great hands!! From the front desk, Maria and everyone else always been going above and beyond to make sure that she is right on track with her medicine and well check!! Thank You Dr Vac-Cruz, Maria and entire staff!!!

The doctor is amazing. She truly cares about her kids. Her aid is very strong and definitely gets everything done that needs to get done. Glad my daughter is in good hands.

Dr Meehan is great, always caring and understanding of our situation and makes herself available for questions. Has been seeing my daughter since she was DX with T1D at 5 years old. I am also a Juvenile onset T1D who has been T1D for 25 years. I used to see Dr Vaccarello when I was a child. I have seen many Endocrinologists in PBC over my lifetime and Dr Meehan and her staff are top notch. I highly recommend them! Was given a referral for my son today and I have been trying to call this doctor's office for 4 hours but yet nobody answers the phone or the circuits are busy. I think they got a huge problem and I need to fix it I'm already annoyed before I even get into this doctor's office

Personally I think it was a great first experience. We didn’t have to wait. The medical Assistant was awesome. She was friendly and kind to my granddaughter. The Doctor is caring and easy going. She listened to us and evrything she said was explained in terms I could understand. True, I am having trouble getting through with the phone lines and the the initial greeting could improve but wasn’t altogether a bad experience. Thank you to all of them. Office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I am a nurse administrator and if any of the employees that work under me treated people the way that the staff in this office does, I would fire them on the spot. Their records are incomplete. They are extremely inattentive as well. We will be going to see a different doctor from now on. If I was able to leave a 0 star rating, I would!

Staff is very unfriendly, Spanish woman at the front desk was very nasty to me, left without being seen. Office is old, needs updating. If that woman worked in the medical office I worked in, she would have been fired on the spot for her attitude and the way she treats patients. Without patients there is no practice. Would never recommend someone to go there and be treated as rudely as i was.
