Dr. Mason Scott Stilwell

Dr. Stilwell did my knee replacement and I still see him for my left and right hip replacement follow-ups that Dr. Cohen did. Dr. Stillwell is patient, knowledgeable, courteous, great personality and always makes sure I understand everything. I highly recommend Dr. Stilwell

After having had a fracture on my right hip and walked with a limp due to a leg length discrepancy for many years with the pain getting worse and worse, in January of 2022 I received a total hip replacement. Dr. Mason Stilwell did a perfect job. He couldn't have performed the surgery any better. I was in the surgery room, received anesthetics, took a nap while Dr. Stilwell performed the surgery. Later on I woke up as nothing had happened. The next day, I was walking up and down the stairs. I hardly had any pain. 4 weeks later I was riding my bike and 6 weeks later I was regularly hitting the gym. Dr. Stilwell was able to perfectly align my leg length. Thus, I do not have any leg length discrepancy anymore and feel great about my ability to go for extended walks without any pain or limp. Thank you, Dr. Stilwell.

This was the first time meeting Dr Stilman. He appeared to be considerate, however, the assistant i met with prior to meeting the Dr., appeared to be impatient and I felt rushed while answering his questions.

The doctor and staff answer my questions and concerns with excellent diagnoses and surgery very please I can walk again with no pain. Thank you Dr. Stilwell and staff for giving me my life back. Doctor was responsive to my concerns and questions. Explained procedure (hip replacement) to my satisfaction. Support staff were excellent in explaining the process, pre op education (Joint Camp), post op care at Guthrie Sayre, and Guthrie Ithaca. My outcome has been great! I can walk without pain again! I would recommend Dr. Stilwell as a great option when in need of hip care.

Excellent diagnoses and surgery, staff and hospital stay best I've experienced and my recovery has been with less pain and more early mobility than I expected. Overall a great experience.
