Have never had a doctor take so much time to explain everything. Excellent surgeon.

Dr Bliss performed basal joint surgery on my thumb/wrist in January of 2023. He was excellent thru the entire process, from giving confidence in him in his professional demeanor, putting me at ease in explaining the procedure and need, he is surrounded by an excellent supporting staff and is respected as a top surgeon by the physical therapy department in the same clinic he resides. I am well pleased with the results of the surgery taking away pain and giving me better mobility and recovery time has been easier than expected in part to his skills

So helpful, very intelligent. Explains everything very well. He spends a lot of time with you. I think people complain if he runs late, but then they expect him to spend tons of time just on them. It doesn't work that way. I'm happy to wait because I appreciate the time he spends with each patient.

Can’t recommend him enough. Very intelligent, very knowledgeable. Explains everything so well. In my opinion, the best surgeon out there. Would trust him with my family, and I have.

Trigger Finger surgery, Went in he spent a total of 15 minutes with me. I have had this issue with other fingers in the past a shot has fixed them and they have never reoccurred. He said not an option. When I asked why he just said its not and that grown men will pass out from the shot. I advised him my 82 yo mother had the same shot while she said it was painful she did not pass out and the procedure worked well. He said no so I had the surgery its 6 weeks later and I can no longer make a fist or straighen that finger it wakes me up durning the night from pain not to mention all day long. They are now going to send me to phy. therapy. Never was I told of any possible after surgery issues.

Repaired my injured hand. Explained the procedure, discussed my concerns, was easy to talk to. So far my hand is doing well.

I had a tibial plateau fracture, which can be a life altering injury, on 11/19/2019. Dr. Bliss did an outstanding job repairing my leg, and I feel extremely fortunate to have had him as my surgeon. He also has a great bedside manner, letting me ask all my questions, and explaining everything clearly, and thoroughly. He took as much time as I needed, and I never felt rushed out the door, or not heard. I can’t recommend him, or thank him enough! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Dr Bliss performed LRTI procedure on my right thumb. He and his excellent therepy staff have me back at my machine repair position in less than 8 weeks. I will return as soon as possible for procedure on left hand. I recommend Dr Bliss Highly. Very Skilled Surgeon.

Im 16 and I've been with Dr.bliss throughout 4 surgerys he is an amazing surgeon and he's been very open to me about my choices and he's helped me get to having a working wrist again!

I had my finger get nearly severed by a belt and pully on a marine inboard engine. Dr. Bliss saved my finger i could not be more appreciative.

I have never met a more intelligent and compassionate surgeon. He is excellent in explaining the diagnosis and treatment options. I have recommended him to both friends and family.

Dr. Bliss repaired an arthritic bone in my left hand. My hand was doing okay, never much pain and using it in normal way with minor weakness. Over 2 months later I remain in almost constant pain and with a weak and painful arm and hand. I am very discouraged.

Extremely arrogant, said he was the best and did amazing work. Thankful I only had to see him 5 minutes preop. Not like any other Dean/SSM providers, needs to come down from his pedastal. Fortunately he is no longer with SSM.

Totally would not recommend dr. Bliss. He is the most unprofessional arrogant untrustworthy doctor I ever encounter. Went in for a total shoulder replacement and came out with a useless shoulder replacement and he ruined my brachial plexitis nerve so I have no muscle control in my arm and Constance pain which he could have cared less about. I could not go back to work because of no use of my arm...

This guy is so unprofessional. He bills my insurance company a different a code that charges me $800.00 more. He grabs my hand and puts a needle in my palm, A minute later he does it again. He doesn't speak to let me know what hes doing. Plus he canceled each appointment two days prior to the surgery. The 2nd time he canceled I decided to seek another doctor to have my other hand done. Guess what? only stuck me once to numb my hand. Plus It took 1\2 the time to heal.

The most dishonest person I've ever met.

Would not recommend him to anyone. Extremely arrogant, never answered questions fully. Did not trust him as a physician.

Dr. Bliss was able to get me in quickly to repair a badly broken arm/wrist following a car accident. The office was very easy to work with, and the arm is healing nicely. I'm pleased with the appearance of the scars. My only negative is the very long wait time for my follow up visit with him. Apparently, that is the norm for this doctor.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Bliss to anyone faced with a broken hand/wrist/arm. I had a fantastic experience with him and his staff. Dr. Bliss is extremely knowledgeable and the recommended course of action and the surgery he performed had me using my shattered wrist within two weeks. Dr. Bliss made the brief appointments with me count - addressed my questions, put me at ease, and gave me confidence in his abilities. I am forever grateful for the care he provided.
