The best doctor

I found the Desert Orthopedic Center to be very fast, polite and professional. I did not have to wait more than 10 minutes. The doctor was exceptional! Doctor Matthew Fouse was extremely pleasant, gave me the prognosis in a professional way, explained everything and gave me options with all the possible outcomes. He managed my pain to a very low level and explained after care. I highly recommend the Center snd especially Dr. Fouse.

I went to the medical office with Dr.Fouse and he is awesome, he is really good is so fast to diagnose and found the cause of my pain.

Reply Flag 1st time visiting office . I chose Dr Fouse after I saw how professional his team was with my husbands knee surgery. Paperwork process very smooth & efficient. Dr Fouse is very personable , cares about the patient, and knows an awful lot about shoulders. It was incredible how he took the necessary steps in one day to diagnose the problem with no long weeks of waiting and I walked out of his office feeling way way better than when I walked in. God bless him and his integrity in his love for what he does for humanity.

I was very pleased with my visit. He was kind and competent. Answered all of my questions and was very patient.

The clinic experience was very professional. I was treated with respect and compassion. My medical needs were addressed promptly.

1st time visiting office . Paperwork process very smooth & efficient. Dr Fouse is very personable , cares about the patient, and seems to know an awful lot about shoulders. I was content with the solution after back and forth discussion of my shoulder issue .

Dr. Fouse has a great bedside manner and it is obvious that he is incredibly experienced and competent. I didn't have to wait hours on end to see him and he even managed to talk me out of my fear of an injection rather than continuing to suffer in pain. Well done dr. Fouse!

I found Dr Fouse to be excellent in his explanation of my injury, options for treatment, and in answering all of my questions. I have not decided yet if I will have surgery but if I do I feel comfortable in him doing the procedure. I felt he was honest and did not try to push any procedure that wasn't necessary. The only complaint I have is with the office staff trying to pressure me to get an xray when I already had an MRI done. Maybe they were just doing their job but the sarcastic comments and insistence was unprofessional. I did not see what reason I would need xrays if MRI had already been performed. Dr Fouse Has been treating me since 2016 he even repaired my ACL on my left knee. I found everybody to be very thorough in what they did, I walked out with a sense of relief to know what was wrong with me, today I feel 100% better than when I walked out of the office so thank you Dr. Fouse

I arrived 1/2 hour early and the intake was fine and the person who checked me in was very polite and sweet. I was late getting called back and then the person who took me to the back, the medical assistant, was abrupt to the point of rudeness. I would like to know why she is doing her job because I don’t think she likes her patients. I was then taken to x-ray and the guy was great. Then put back in my room and I could hear the doctor next-door with a case that was difficult. He was very late getting in to see me which is OK. However then I felt he was very rushed and trying to catch up on time and not very personable. Considering it was my first visit and I was looking for somebody to operate on me I thought he might want to establish rapport. Then he told me to wait and someone else would come in and check me out. I waited over 40 minutes in a little room with a closed door and nobody ever came. I finally went out in the hallway found the doctor and told him I was still waiting. He was very upset! He asked me to go back in my room and he would get somebody immediately. Then he came in my room and apologized profusely. Very nice gesture. Finally the lady came in (same rushed, abrupt MA) and checked me out. I’m not feeling great about having this organization operate on me. I will wait till I get my MRI and go back for a second visit to make sure it wasn’t just a really bad day for everybody. Very good experience Explained my condition very well and provided a quick treatment that seems to be helping. Also, took time to look at additional condition and again provided helpful treatment.

I’ve had chronic knee pain for several years to the point that my quality of life was drastically impacted. One trip to see Dr. Fouse and he fixed me right up. I’m able to walk and move around with very little pain.

My appt was at 1:30..after check in (not even all checked in) I was called back right away. Dr Fouse has an assistant Nick who is awesome...X-rays were taken ..Dr Fouse came in right after...nothing seriously wrong! From start to finish a very smooth process...excellent Doctors no matter what specialty needed. Dr Fouse specializes in knees and shoulders (and maybe another) I recommend him if you’re in need of his specialty!

Dr. Fouse diagnosed my knee pain issue quickly after reviewing x-rays and took time to thoroughly explain it to me and provide resolution. He was friendly and professional.

I thought he was the nicest and most caring doctor I have ever been to.

Dr. Fouse was knowledgeable and helped become knowledgeable on my ailments. Once the injection procedure was done on my knee, he was very gentle and comforting. I will most definitely go back and see him if needed.

Haven’t had the surgery yet, but my initial visit went very well. I was informed of all of the advantages and disadvantages of my pending procedure, I had all of my questions answered in a way that was direct and easy to understand. Dr. Fours gave me ample opportunity to ask questions and seemed set on making sure that there was no misunderstanding. Talk about a knife-happy, money-grubbing surgeon! Even before he met me, he decided I needed surgery for a torn meniscus. He based this just on looking at the intake physician's assistant notes made a few minutes earlier and from the X-rays. He waltzes into the room I was waiting in with this plan of action, while I knew that my symptoms were not that of a torn meniscus, and also that such surgery is very rarely effective. Once I told him that I didn't want that surgery, he became extremely belligerent that I should waste any more of his time, since it was looking like he wasn't going to be getting the big bucks out of me for this completely unnecessary surgery. He wouldn't even let me talk, was constantly interrupting me, so bad that I actually had to say, "Look, could I possibly complete one sentence without you interrupting and ignoring what I'm trying to say?". He became thoroughly irate at this impertinence. As it turned out, I tried the simple physical therapy solutions I found online, and they worked fine. It completely cleared up my symptoms and am now completely pain free. It just proves I was right and this horrible, wretched example of a greedy, assembly-line doctor who doesn't listen to his patients, because he's so incurably arrogant and smug, was completely wrong. I just saved myself untold pain, expense, and possible long-lasting damage from this fool by standing up to his attempts to intimidate. WARNING --- AVOID THIS CLOWN!!
