Dr. Matthew Christopher Hann

Dr. HANN is the best Cardiologist I have ever had. He is a great listener and is very much into getting you on a path to good health...truly a nice guy.

Dr Hann is the BEST cardiogist in Mississippi.

Dr Hann’s partner Dr Payment had ordered a heart cath because he said my moms was classic for a blockage. She got worse so we went in through the ER. Payment was off so we saw Hann. We were told the Cath lab was too backed up to see us so we had to prove she was having a problem through tests (even though payment said 25% of the time those test show nothing and they still have a blockage. So here she is throwing up with left arm pain and shortness of breath and Hann refuses to do the Cath because her tests came back negative. Payment said it would but Hann said that’s where I differ from Payment because I follow the science and I’m on the side of the insurance company on this one! If I could give him negative 100 stars I would. Do not use this man. Other cardiac nurses I’ve talked to since have nothing good to say.

First visit with him and he was very nice but asked me what can I help you with? That threw me off & made me feel uncomfortable As if I just wanted attention. and I did not bring an index card with me of questions. It kind of confused me because I was referred to him by my primary care doctor. Definitely does not seem like geriatric understood. I already have a heart doctor I really. got used to but he does not travel it seems back and forth and meets the patient at a different location. I reckon the choice is mine who I see. I appreciated his time. He was very nice overall and very informative.

I was able to obtain an appointment quickly & the office staff was very nice. I was very happy leaving my first visit with Dr. Hann. I found him to be through with his exam. He actually took time to listen, answer questions, & explain things! Thus far I am very impressed!! I would definitely recommend him to others!
