Extremely accommodating and efficient. I felt very comfortable and taken care of.

Check in was a breeze, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dr Hansen, as always very polite, caring and explains clearly details of surgery procedures. I was fearful of any surgery but Dr Hansen took my fear away. I have been his patient since my move from California in 2016.

Saw Dr Hansen to go over my MRI for my knee. He was wonderful. Explained everything in detail as to what was going on. I fully trust his plan to get my knee feeling better. Very kind and answers any questions you have.

This doctor ruined my ability to reach with my left arm. The shoulder replacement he used on my shoulder (2015) fell apart and the pegs were loose and floating in my body for years. When I would complain of pain and even told him "loose bodies were seen in a neck x-ray". He still did nothing, Finally 2021 the pain was so great he decided I needed a reverse shoulder replacement. When he opened the area, he said the inflammation was so great and had dissolved so much he could not replace the arm replacement. All he could do is clean out some inflammation and sew it back up. No wonder I can barely use my left arm! No wonder I am in constant pain. Please do not use this doctor for your own sake. I do not like to post this but am doing this as my public duty. My experience with Dr. Hansen was outstanding. He was knowledge and demonstrated a clear understanding of my condition and concerns. We worked together in developing an action plan and a path forward.

Very professional, and welcoming establishment. Thorough explanation of images, and recommendations with the patients best interest. Was highly recommended, and I highly recommend to others.

Dr Hansen was recommended to me, and he met all of my expectations. Kind, professional, caring and very knowledgeable. A good listener, and took the time to make sure that any questions I had were answered.

I went in to have my shoulder checked out. Dr Hansen was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had before I could ask them.

I’m not sure if this is the case with all meniscus tear but my experience with this procedure was positive. I was able to walk out of the facility. Granted it wasn’t easy but I owe it all to the Surgeon Matthew Hansen and all the nursing staff for their care and help they gave me.

Dr Hansen did my ACL reconstruction. Very straight to the point guy. Surgery went great, minimal scars, nothing seemingly out of the ordinary. No problems 11 months out.

I appreciate Dr. Hansen’s willingness to find remedies outside of surgery. I appreciate his honestly and patience. He spent all the time necessary for me to feel confident in my treatment plan.

Kind, listens, professional, intuitive, smart, precise. Dr Hansen had previously repaired my hamstring that had been completely torn from the bone after a fall four years ago. I was so thankful and appreciative that I could see him again for a similar issue.

Came highly recommended. I was able to schedule my initial visit within a weeks time based upon an opening that popped up on his calendar. Standard form processes prior and very little wait time for check-in and initial diagnostic imaging. Post image review, Dr Hansen wasted no time to speak with me and get a better feel for issues and determine secondary steps.

Dr. Hansen always takes the time to listen to your questions and concerns. He is patient and you never feel hurried. He is kind and caring and is genuinely concerned about you.

Knowledgeable doctor who actually cares and is concerned for his patients well being and recovery.

Dr. Hansen listens and is very honest and does not beat around the bush. My shoulder had come out of the socket many times before and I had been to another specialist in the valley that had me in physical therapy for the issue and and actually done surgery on it 4 years ago that was suppose to have taken care of the issue. It came out of the socket again in February in Hawaii and again that same specialist sent me back to physical therapy to fix the issue and it came out again pulling up my jeans. Luckily, one of the therapists told me about Dr. Hansen, and honestly, I think I have had less discomfort from the surgery this time and he had to take bone from one area and use 2 screws to help hold the shoulder in. Dr. Hansen is the best orthopedic surgeon! I would definitely recommend him and his staff to my family and friends. You will not find a more knowledgeable and experienced surgeon. I appreciate him and his team so much. My care has always been expeditious and he was able to work me into his busy surgery schedule STAT both times I have needed surgery. His medical assistant Chantel is just as professional and efficient. They make a great team!!!

I had a recent injury playing professional baseball in another country and came to Dr Hansen to be evaluated. He was quick at getting me in and the appropriate tests ordered. At my follow up he explained everything thoroughly and gave me instructions to heal quickly and get back on the playing field. Very professional and nice guy.

Visit was very quick and "orders" to be given to primary care physician were VERY generic and not useful to me in acquiring tests and imagery in timely fashion. Urgent care that I was sent to for covid test was less than helpful and scheduled me out by 4 days! Scheduler did not call in timely manner and phone calls placed to scheduler were not returned either.....I spent all day attempting to meet the pre-op testing requirements with no success due to lack of communication...............

Dr. Hansen is personable, knowledgeable and, efficient. He treated my daughter for hip and back issues related to high school sports and is now treating my knee. I would highly recommend!

I was impressed with my visit with Dr Matthew Hansen today. The Covid screening and social distancing was observed and I felt safe. I was able to visit with the doctor and get the MRI in one day. At the end of the day, I had a televisit with Dr Hansen to go over the results. Wonderful to find answers in one day

Dr.Hansen has repaired both of my shoulders over the past several years and most recently is helping me recover from an PCL tear to my knee. I cannot say enough good about him! My shoulders are 100% functional! My knee is healing well...and without surgery with a high tech brace that he recommended. I would recommend him to anyone needing shoulder or knee help! Very kind and detailed explanation

When you want the best he is the surgeon to go to.

Dr. Hansen is a caring physician; he always listens patiently and never gives the impression that he is rushed. He answers any and all questions. I was lucky to have his expertise when I needed my shoulder replaced.

This is the second time I have seen Dr Hansen. Once in 2014 for a fractured acetabulum in my left hip, and once currently in 2021. Dr Hansen has incredible listening skills, is very down to earth, very comfortable to speak with, exceptionally knowledgeable as well as explanatory. He makes you feel at ease and also makes sure that you understand exactly what he’s talking about. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an orthopedist.

Dr Hansen was pleasant to meet with. I wish I would not have had to wait 90 minutes to see him. Not sure why I should show up 20 minutes early if I’m not going to see him until an hour after my assigned appointment.

The reason for only three stars, it was 45 minutes from arrival at my scheduled appointment time until Dr. Hansen came in and I was nearly late for my next appointment. However, he was pleasant and, although quite brief, the visit with him was informative and helpful.

Dr. Hansen and his team were very thorough and detailed. My appointment was scheduled for 8am. I was in before 8, had pictures taken and met with Dr. Hansen and finished my office visit by 8:45am. Having never met with Dr. Hansen prior to my visit. He came highly recommended.

Dr. Hansen communicated very effectively and answered all my questions. He explained the surgery post-op process, and who would follow up with me to get everything scheduled.
